Chapter 284: Chapter 232: Robot Factory (Second Update Arrived)

"I’ve already absorbed several Mag-Eu Stones in a row, this one should be yours." Su Yu smiled, feeling the relentless surge of special power within him. The robot, which had brought him so close to death, was now unable to respond before he destroyed it.

Ada made a sound of agreement, not shy about retrieving a Mag-Eu Stone from the broken robot remains and swallowing it.

After hatching, Category 5 Lifeforms enter a growth phase divided into nine stages. After completing the nine stages, the Category 5 Lifeforms will reach maturity.

Currently, Ada was in the second stage of growth, while Meng Ting’s Category 5 Lifeform, Dragon Kid, who had apparently experienced some incredible adventure, was already in the third stage.

In the world of Category 5 Lifeforms, to reach the third stage of growth was already quite impressive.

After Ada absorbed the energy from the "Mag-Eu Stone," he shivered slightly, seeming to grow a size larger. Nevertheless, he sighed, "Damn... The Mag-Eu Stone inside this robot is too small. It’s so annoying." Ada remained in the second stage of growth without successfully evolving.

Su Yu smiled and said, "No worries, we just need to kill more robots."

"Hmm." Ada nodded and said, "Get on, Su Yu. I want to find a place with more robots; with your current strength, you can handle several robots simultaneously."

Su Yu leapt upon Ada’s back with one jump, and Ada lightly called, "Let’s go--" His figure flashed, and he was flying across the ground at high speed again.

This time, Ada continuously sniffed the air; he wanted to find a place with a lot of robots. Otherwise, looking for them one by one would be too much trouble.

Ada’s speed was incredible. In a short time, he and Su Yu crashed into what looked like the ruins of a grand hall.

At one point, this hall was perhaps quite magnificent, but now it showed signs of great destruction. It had seemingly endured unimaginable time and terrible battles. The four walls were littered with devices of unknown use and function that even Su Yu couldn’t name. These devices were connected by many wires and were all significantly damaged and rusted, as if they had weathered countless storms.

At this moment, within the broken and instrument-filled hall and amidst various metal machines, a large number of robots were standing or sitting. When Ada and Su Yu burst in, they stopped, amazed. Then Ada exclaimed, "You can’t be serious, there are so many? Was this place once a factory for making these robots?"

In the field strewn with machinery, there were indeed a large number of spare parts and unfinished robot prototypes. Of course, there were even more completed robots.

After Su Yu and Ada burst in, the once-dead silent ruins of the hall immediately began to echo with the sound of "sand."

Even after an unknown length of time, the instructions that were once input into them were still active. The command to attack and kill all intruders was enacted, and the robots, which once appeared devoid of life, sprang into action.

There were remote attack robots whose arms spouted barrels, close combat robots wielding large swords, and robots carrying both a spear and a metal energy shield. There were also robots equipped with metal chains capable of both close and long range combat.

With a "slap" sound, one robot after another appeared, their metal weapons lighting up with energy.

Ada had sensed that there were many robots here, but even it hadn’t expected the number to be so large. It was a bit shocking.

At a glance, there were at least ten robots moving, and who knows how many more lurked in the shadows.

"Ratatata--" A chorus of shots rang out. In the broken hall filled with various machines, _suddenly barrels protrusion from the ground aiming all their shots at Su Yu.

"Should we run away?" Ada cried, turning to run with Su Yu.

"No!" Su Yu replied calmly. He jumped off Ada’s body, and with a quick duck, he hid behind a corner of a broken wall, avoiding the onslaught of bullets.

Since Ada was a higher class, powers below "class four" couldn’t harm it, meaning these mechanical attacks couldn’t hurt it.

After hearing Su Yu, Ada understood his reasoning.

Despite the danger, this place also presented a huge opportunity. If they could destroy all the robots here, the amount of Mag-Eu Stones they would get would be staggering. For both Ada and Su Yu, this could mean a major shift in their situations.

Taking risks to gain more power wasn’t something to fear for Su Yu, but rather, it created a sense of excitement.

In the direst of situations, Su Yu finds life more meaningful. That intense feeling of being "alive" grows even stronger.

Ada curls up, transforming back into its tadpole shape and hops onto Su Yu’s right shoulder. Su Yu, in an instant, enters "Lizard Beast Transformation" mode, with steam bursting from beneath his black scales.

’Whoo-whoo’ — like a steam whistle, great amounts of steam spread out wildly. The surrounding robots stand, with red lights flashing in their crystal eyes. There was an immediate response from the distant robots; their arms lifted, bright white lights activated from their external cannons.

Su Yu jumps out of the way quickly. The place he’d just hidden was instantly hit by artillery shells, causing the foot-thick stone wall to crumble into pieces, scattering debris in the sparks.

At this moment, a thick mist spread, dimming the heavy firelight.

Su Yu condensed his Gasification Mysterious Power within, continuously releasing steam mist. Despite the mist’s thickness, the creature-like machines with tracking functionality managed to keep Su Yu within their sights.

While Su Yu sprinted mid-air, his arms began revealing exploding Tooth Bursts.

"Hiss hiss hiss"—the Tooth Bursts suddenly erupted, each pulling thick golden lightning, comparable to meteors with long tails.

This newly learned maneuver was being used in actual combat by Su Yu for the first time.

Ten "Tooth Bursts" furiously shot out, over and over, in every direction. Su Yu retracted the lightning, causing the Tooth bursts to violently detach and fly out.

Boom! Boom! The atmosphere resounded unceasingly with explosions from every direction, as ground dust, bricks, broken pillars, and stone walls ignited. It was a spectacle of complete chaos.

Originally, the cannons on the ground were laid to rest, bent and twisted. The surrounding robots had, at this point, no choice but to cease-fire, to maintain their stability. Su Yu, within the thickening steam mist, held his position.

At this moment, a significant amount of steam mist enveloped the damaged temple ruins. Within the mist, stabilizing robots began to move again. Every robot had its target locked onto Su Yu standing in the middle unmoving. The terrifying collective attack was about to start.

Su Yu smirked, his entire body erupting with streaks of golden lightning.

"Maximum Discharge—" with a roar, Su Yu clenched his fists and shouted to the sky, his body releasing an incredibly terrifying golden lightning.

Lightning streaks spread out like crazy enveloping the steam mist making it appear golden.

Such terrifying energy turned these clouds into thunderclouds.

Ada, lying on Su Yu’s shoulder, finally understood why Su Yu had a mysterious smile while stating that steam can conduct electricity.

Simply because Su Yu had thought of a terrifying new trick. Now, he was planning to use it to obliterate all the robots in one fell swoop.

"Discharge—" Su Yu’s voice echoed, sounding like a Demon God. Ada turned its head, staring blankly at Su Yu’s face. In that moment, even this high-standing Category 5 Lifeform felt a tingling sensation.

Was this really just a Third-Class Creature? The legendary beings of Atlantis were said to possess the wisdom of the gods, but could humans of the Solar Epoch potentially be their true equals?

Centered on Su Yu, countless golden lightning streaks crazily spread all around the steam mist, completely enveloping the damaged temple. The golden lightning dyed the clouds golden, electrifying robots, broken walls, stones or other metallic parts, even rusted machinery. Amidst these golden thunderclouds, everything endured terrifying shocks with voltage above 10,000 volts.

The continuous release of lightning resulted in a group of robots stiffly standing there, convulsing. The most terrifying aspect, however, was the thundercloud.

As the thundercloud continued to emit lightning, the energy within the tangl cloud became more potent, eventually forming a genuine thundercloud. Once it reached a certain threshold, a gigantic bolt of lightning, like a sky-borne lightning dragon, erupted from within the cloud.

Natural lightning strikes when the energy within a cloud reaches a certain limit. However, natural lightning has a voltage of a hundred million volts, far more than Su Yu could ever manage right now.
