Chapter 1347 - 102

Chapter 1347: 102

"Ancient Titan," Su Yu took a deep breath.

"Indeed, some factions refer to it as the ’Ancient Giant Beast,’ or ’Nothing,’" Zhuang Siya’s words made Su Yu’s heart stir, "Ancient Giant Beast, so do the Primordial Beasts or the Ancient Giant Beasts have any connection?"

Zhuang Siya gave him a deep look, and Zhao Guowei said beside her, "Those are also results of research, but they do not belong to our system. What we need to do is to stop the expansion of this ’Nothing’ world..."

Su Yu nodded slightly, finally clearing up some ideas in his mind. The "Primordial Beasts" and "Ancient Giant Beasts" must be a continuation of the same lineage, their Ancestor might just be the ’Ancient Giant Beast’ from the world of ’Nothing’ during ancient times, or it could also be called ’Ancient Titan’—so powerful that it surpassed all true gods, rightfully deserving the title ’Giant Gods.’

And these ’Primordial Beasts’ and ’Ancient Giant Beasts’ likely resulted from research on the corpse of that ’Ancient Titan.’ The birth of these beasts could be part of some research system.

Thinking along these lines, were those people in blue robes and that strangely human-snake-tailed giant infant all part of the research? Even the giant infant, was it a weapon to combat ’Nothing’?

"Since the Ancient Titan has already died, why does the world of ’Nothing’ still expand? Could there be a new change? What do you need to resist?" Su Yu pondered for a long while, asking.

"There’s not just one Ancient Titan..." Zhuang Siya’s statement was shocking. Su Yu remembered her saying that the Ancient Titan was more powerful than all true gods. That ancient battle had even involved countless true gods, many of whom died to finally achieve victory. If there was not just one Ancient Titan, how could they continue to resist?

Zhuang Siya, seeming to know Su Yu’s confusion, continued, "Fortunately, the power of these newly appeared Ancient Titans differs greatly. The most powerful of them first appeared in the world of ’Nothing.’ That battle nearly wiped out the strongest true gods. Those that appeared later... maybe it’s hard to call them Ancient Titans anymore, that’s why they were referred to as giant beasts... However, even though their strength has weakened, their numbers have increased, each invasion is a disaster..."

She paused, her expression heavy, as if reluctant to continue.

Su Yu nodded slightly, then suddenly said, "Then, the Starry Universe and that human-snake-tailed giant infant’s matter, do you know about them, and the people in blue robes, I think, their goal must also be related to the Final Battlefield."

Zhuang Siya sighed, her face suddenly showing deep helplessness, murmuring, "Yes, all creatures know gods are omnipotent, but who really understands... when we truly ’awaken,’ how helpless it feels..."

Su Yu frowned lightly, about to say something when suddenly, he felt the dark ground beneath his feet subtly shake.

"Not good, Su Yu, let’s leave this place first," Zhuang Siya’s expression changed, and she started to retreat.

"What’s happened?" Su Yu asked, spreading his Divine Sense around, but he didn’t feel anything.

Zhuang Siya, feeling the increasingly severe quakes, sighed, "I didn’t expect the enemy’s attacks to be so frequent now, just like I said earlier. They’ve launched another attack; not sure which team is targeted this time."

Just as she said this, a long, dragon-like howl sounded from behind them, echoing far and lasting long.

Su Yu hadn’t expected such a coincidence; arriving at the Final Battlefield just as an attack happened stirred his interest. "Since the enemy is attacking, why don’t we take a look?"

Seeing Su Yu’s expression, Zhuang Siya nodded slightly and said, "Alright, but don’t act rashly. To have a true god like you born now is already very difficult, each true god is precious."

Su Yu acknowledged, and soon, the distant howl approached closer. Zhuang Siya turned and sensed from afar, muttering to herself, "It’s the third squad."

Su Yu quietly activated his Giant Will within, and soon ’saw’ ten incredibly strong auras emerging from the entrance of the Final Battlefield—probably what Zhuang Siya referred to as ’the third squad.’ They soon flew right above them, among them, Su Yu even sensed a familiar aura, and quickly recognized it as the Great Thunder God, Mo Ke’er, whom he had encountered halfway earlier.

The ten overwhelming auras above swiftly flew past Su Yu and the other four gods, heading deep inside without hesitation. Zhuang Siya said, "Let’s follow them, Su Yu. Remember my instructions, don’t act recklessly. You may have the energy of a hundred suns, which is indeed not weak, but in this world, it doesn’t count for much."

"Understood," Su Yu replied obediently, following Zhuang Siya and the other four gods, chasing far behind those ten energies into the depths.

"The God of the Holy Eye has already captured," just now, "that only two low-level ’Ancient Giant Beasts’ have appeared this time. We can handle them easily, but just to be safe, everyone should still be extra careful and must not stray from the group. Did everyone get that?"

Among the ten energies, one was especially strong, seeming to be the leader of this small team. At the moment, with divine sense released, it warned the surrounding gods and even Zhuang Siya and her team, who were following far behind, could hear it. Clearly, this was an intentional reminder for them to understand the enemy situation this time.

The dark earth continued to tremble, as if a huge creature was walking upon it. Because its body was so massive, each step shook the dark earth.

Soon, Su Yu realized that they had reached the very end of this dark "Nothingness" world. At the edge of this dark earth, a terribly immense crack appeared, and in front of the crack, there were two irregular masses made of something between liquid and solid.

These two masses, belonging to an unknown category, continuously twisted and changed, their bodies faintly translucent. Each movement transformed their shape, reaching an eerie level of strangeness.

Zhuang Siya pointed far in the direction of the terrifying crack at the edge of the dark earth and said softly, "These beasts, unknown from where they come, crawled out from that crack. Our Ancestors tried every possible way to seal that crack but failed. Moreover, these Ancient Giant Beasts that emerged can infect our energy space. Hence, we can’t allow them to escape this ’Nothingness’ world. We are forced to enter here and battle them."

Su Yu mm-hmmed. The ten strong energies had already displayed their varying forms. Among them, "Great Thunder God" Mo Ke’er showed his giant body clad in golden armor. With a roar, he spread his hands and produced a blue spear in each, resembling lightning.

Dealing with these two defined as low-level "Ancient Giant Beasts," the small team composed of ten true gods appeared entirely at ease, looking rather relaxed.

"Great Thunder God" Mo Ke’er promptly launched his two blue lightning spears. Each spear contained nearly a hundred suns’ worth of Solar Energy, which pierced through the bodies of the two irregularly transforming "Ancient Giant Beasts." The other nine deities collectively struck with various powerful blows, easily exploding the bodies of the two "Ancient Giant Beasts" completely.

The bodies of the two constantly shifting Ancient Giant Beasts turned into dense juices, flowing onto the dark earth and gradually seeping in, making the area even darker.

However, the energies or the ambiance produced from the explosions were instantly swallowed by the "Nothingness" of this world, leaving no trace, making it impossible for the gods to recover their output energies. For example, after "Great Thunder God" Mo Ke’er had thrown his lightning spears, the energy within his body was almost entirely depleted.

Su Yu watched this scene from a distance, partly surprised at how fragile these so-called "Ancient Giant Beasts" were, easily destroyed in the blink of an eye, and partly secretly startled by the harshness of battling in this "Nothingness" world.

A god possessing the energy of "a hundred suns" had to output one sun’s energy with each attack. In this world, after one hundred attacks, his energy would be depleted.

And if he delivered all "hundred suns" worth of energy in one shot, he would have no follow-up energy afterward.

Just like "Great Thunder God" Mo Ke’er, who had almost two hundred suns of energy. However, after throwing two spears, each endowed with nearly a hundred suns’ worth of Solar Energy, once he drove those spears into those two monstrous bodies, his nearly two hundred suns of energy were completely drained, leaving him almost compromised.

Nonetheless, he was still quite exhilarated. In the recent battle, he was the first to strike, pinning down the two ancient beasts, allowing the other gods to defeat them so easily.

"Mo Ke’er, well done—"

His companions complimented him nearby.

"Hehe," Mo Ke’er laughed, and then called out, "I’m out of strength now, who can carry me?"

"I’ll carry you," one of the true gods volunteered, carrying Mo Ke’er, planning to leave this place. Once they left the "Nothingness" world and returned to a space filled with energy, it wouldn’t take long for nearly two hundred suns of Solar Energy inside Mo Ke’er to recover.

As Su Yu pondered how exceptionally fragile these two "Ancient Beasts" were, differing completely from the "Ancient Titans" Zhuang Siya had described, suddenly, from the crack at the very end of the dark earth, an unusual shift occurred.
