Chapter 1305: Chapter 972: The Beast of the End
In the vast starry universe, the "Beast of the End," whose body spanned over a billion kilometers, rushed from the distant cosmos at an unimaginable speed. Its terrifying size brought unimaginable energy fluctuations, and the entire void began to chaos, as the Ten Star System suffered severe disturbances.
Due to the gravitational pull of the planets, the original ten suns had regularly orbited the planets. With the arrival of the Beast of the End, the suns began to deviate from their orbits. On the planet below, Zhang Zhongmou, Su Yun, Meng Ting, Jin Fuhua, and others, including the Black Warrior and some Netherworld people, sensed impending disaster. The originally thick atmosphere began to fluctuate unstably, and eerie, ripple-like clouds appeared in the sky, while fissures started to form on the ground.
Outside the star system, Su Yu gazed at the unimaginable Beast of the End from afar, standing there in shock, completely devoid of fighting spirit, until up on the planet, the Master of Rules hurled the "Spear of Orthodoxy."
With a "swoosh," the Spear of Orthodoxy flew across the distant sky and easily pierced the skin of the Beast of the End, embedding itself into it.
However, the Beast of the End did not show any other reaction; it seemed that its immense size meant it had not even noticed the "Spear of Orthodoxy" had harmed it.
It was as if a human being had been invaded by something smaller than a cell or a bacterium, and as a human, you would not notice or feel pain at the moment.
The "Beast of the End," it was too vast.
Watching this scene from afar, Su Yu felt a tremendous shock and suddenly realized this reason, if he thought about it, "it" was not invulnerable.
With a "whoosh," the Master of Rules appeared. The "Spear of Orthodoxy" had hit its target, but her expression turned grave. With a wave of her hand, the "Spear of Orthodoxy" dislodged from "its" body and returned to the hands of the Master of Rules.
"How did it go?" Su Yu asked.
The Master of Rules shook her head and said, "It’s too vast, so vast that it has ignored our existence altogether. We... cannot destroy it or stop it." In her voice, there was a sense of powerlessness.
"It seems to be only interested in the celestial bodies, we are too insignificant. It hasn’t concerned itself with us, we should flee this place," the Master of Rules sighed.
Su Yu nodded, as the entire Ten Solar System descended into chaos, and in just a short time, the second sun was also devoured by it.
The Magnetic Field Power, although it could affect its speed, couldn’t harm it at all. In contrast, something as minute as the Spear of Orthodoxy could pierce "its" body, yet so minute it was ignored by "it." Though it could penetrate "its" flesh, it couldn’t inflict any damage.
To this "it," Su Yu and the others were like mere bacteria to a human being.
Under normal circumstances, a human wouldn’t notice a few bacteria nearby, likewise, those few bacteria would not be able to harm or stop the human.
"Master of Rules, with your power, you can push the planet away from here. I’ve noticed ’it’ seems more interested in the suns. I’ll delay ’it,’ and you and Ada, push the planet away from here, please," Su Yu requested.
After speaking, he began to accelerate, rushing towards the distant sun.
Ten suns had already been devoured by "it," two of which were continuously merged within its mouth, then swallowed into its stomach, and then "it" smacked its lips. This sensation might be akin to a human swallowing a meatball, biting into it while also being scalded by the piping hot soup inside. Yet, the searing heat of the sun, unimaginably high for humans, only made "it" smack its lips, unable to truly harm "it."
Upon hearing Su Yu’s words, the Master of Rules understood his intention, immediately withdrew the Spear of Orthodoxy, and rushed towards the planet.
Even without the power of the Spear of Orthodoxy, she, possessing the nine powers of the rules, was a Peak Immortal, certainly capable of moving the planet.
Breaking through the atmosphere and charging into the planet, the Master of Rules released the nine powers of the rules, instantly enveloping the entire planet. Then, with shaking forces, she began to push it, trying to move the planet, along with everyone on it, away from this starry universe.
Ada continued to activate the Ye’katel Coil’s magnetic force, bombarding the "Beast of the End" and slowing "its" power.
Su Yu, having manifested as a two-kilometer giant, plunged into one of the suns, his ten wings simultaneously lifting high behind him, each two kilometers in length, spreading out like those of a true deity. Although he only possessed about three percent of the sun’s energy, when he released this energy, he could still influence a sun.
At this moment, he used this three percent energy to propel the sun, as in this starry universe, various forces were in tumultuous chaos, not just gravitational turmoil but also bursts of magnetic field power, and the massive "Beast of the End" that was millions of times larger than a sun.
All these forces were repelling each other here, combined with the force of the magnetic fields, it made it so that Su Yu did not have to exert much effort to push the sun in the downstream of these magnetic fields and hurl it toward the body of the Beast of the End.
Although Su Yu was minuscule compared to the Beast of the End, because of the distance, he could still barely make out the general appearance of this "Beast of the End."
It was a creature over a billion kilometers in length, its body composed of countless flesh tendrils wrapped together, within which flowed streams of blue Talisman Power, and its silhouette was somewhat oval-shaped, remotely resembling a galaxy, with a rat head and a cow head at the front, currently devouring suns with these two heads.
Su Yu propelled the sun forward, aiming it at the "creature’s" rear, avoiding the rat head and cow head at the front. As the "creature" was too large, its reactions were somewhat slow to Su Yu, and as it sensed the sun speeding towards it at an unusual angle and velocity and tried to dodge, Ada’s shot magnetic field power burst forth once more, hitting the "creature."
A terrifying magnetic storm surged, causing the "creature" to pause momentarily; the sun that Su Yu was driving smashed into its body, crashing into the myriad of flesh tendrils and creating a deep crater, with the sun half-buried inside.
Unfortunately, it did not inflict greater damage on the "creature"; tendrils bursting from its body plunged into the sun, frantically starting to devour the energy of the sun.
The sun, which had originally been emitting endless light and heat, soon dimmed down.
Su Yu witnessed all this and speculated that at this stage, at least the power of the "sun" could still harm the "creature," only it was a pity that he could not unleash the full power of the "sun" and that a single "sun," dwarfed by the enormity of the "creature," could not inflict any fatal damage on it.
"If there were a thousand beings surpassing Peak Immortality, each manipulating and hurling a sun, perhaps it would be possible to shatter the body of the ’creature.’"
These were Su Yu’s conjectures as he propelled toward another sun and used the same method to thrust the sun at the "creature."
With Su Yu driving suns and Ada employing the "Ye’katel Coil" to shoot out magnetic field power for delay, the Master of Rules finally managed to push the planet far from this starry universe with ease.
Su Yu watched as the Master of Rules moved the planet far away, nearly out of sight, before he finally let out a light sigh.
Ten suns had been consumed by the Beast of the End, six entirely, with the remaining four suns smashed onto its body by Su Yu, then devoured by the tendrils emanating from its body, without inflicting any real harm.
The "creature" showed little interest in the escaped planet and didn’t even notice the two-kilometer figure of Su Yu; it merely paused here for a moment, then flew off towards another star, from a distance looking like a swiftly drifting nebula.
Su Yu lingered in the distant cosmos, watching this Nebula-like unprecedentedly enormous monster drift away, feeling inexplicable emotions within him.
If the outbreak of the "Primordial Beasts" was merely the prelude to this cosmic disaster, then, having seen this billion-kilometer "Beast of the End," Su Yu realized that the real disaster of this universe had begun.
Having contacted Ada, Su Yu rocketed towards the planet that had been pushed far away by the Master of Rules.
He quickly caught up with the planet; Su Yu dispersed the three percent of the sun’s energy melded into his body, the two-kilometer golden figure dissipating as Su Yu descended through the atmosphere, landing on the ground.
"Su Yu," Ada leaped out, landing on his shoulder.
The others also gathered around, each with a frightened look on their faces; for Zhang Zhongmou and others, it was as if they had not even understood what had happened.
"Ada, do you know what that was all about?" Su Yu didn’t delay in explaining to the others, immediately asking Ada.
Ada nodded, her face revealing an indescribable strange expression, and said, "I finally understand why those blue-robed people captured the Primordial Beasts; they were using the Twelve Zodiac Forces of the Primordial Beasts to activate the ’Beast of the End,’ a creature that can devour stars and even space and the universe... only appearing at the end of a universe’s lifecycle... I just hadn’t expected that those blue-robed people intended to destroy this entire starry universe."
The Master of Rules then coldly interjected: "It seems The Fifth Era... indeed marks the last era." (To be continued. For more Chapters, please visit www.qidian.com, support the author, and support genuine reading!)
