Chapter 1303: Chapter 971: A Terrifying Crisis Descends

At this moment, the diameter of the sun had shrunk to less than ten million meters, while "it" had inversely expanded to a size of ten million meters, that is, a magnitude of ten thousand kilometers.

By now, its size was so colossal that it could be considered a planet-sized entity like Earth, and calling "it" the most enormous creature in the starry universe was no exaggeration.

Once it had completely devoured the "stellar sun," "it" grew a pair of blood-red eyes and a nose that pointed high. Then, it flung itself towards other regions where it sensed energy.

In the entire starry universe, apart from those eight individuals in blue robes, it was feared that the other great races had no idea that besides having to deal with the Beast Tide of Primordial Beasts, they were about to encounter a more terrifying test and the threat of death.

At this moment, "it" was still in the farthest depths of the starry universe, where there were very few creatures, so its silent emergence had not yet caused a tremor across the universe.

Only certain supreme beings who had reached a mysterious realm of cultivation faintly felt something strange, an innate warning.

Since its appearance in the starry universe and having devoured twelve Primordial Beasts, in just a short half a month, "it" had devoured countless planets and stars deep in the starry universe. Its form continuously grew larger, rapidly expanding from an original size of ten thousand kilometers to around one hundred million kilometers.

Considering the average diameter of a sun is just one million kilometers, it could be said that the enormity of "its" form had surpassed imagination. Having devoured for half a month, "it" finally began to show a vague shape, sprouting a gargantuan head resembling that of a mouse but with blood-red eyes.

This head was so massive that its mouth could easily swallow planets and even engulf stars in one gulp.

As "it" continued devouring celestial bodies, its volume grew geometrically. More terrifying was the fact that whenever it opened its mouth, the space caught within it would seemingly vanish into darkness, filling with an endless chaotic hue. Then, this chaotic hue slowly merged together, miraculously shrinking space.

"It" could even devour space and its extents in the universe.

"Its" target, originating from the depths of the starry universe, slowly moved outwards. Along the way, it first encountered a Beast Tide composed of hundreds of billions of Primordial Beasts.

When the Primordial Beasts encountered "it," by the time they realized it was a living entity and tried to escape, it was already too late. The mouse-like maw, vast as the heavens, opened and closed. With a "plop," the Beast Tide of hundreds of billions of Primordial Beasts, along with the immensely vast space, was swallowed whole. Then, they were absorbed and integrated into "its" body, causing "it" once again to grow even more massive.

"It" rampaged through the starry universe, devastating everything in its path, whether they were living beings, planets, stars, or space, all were devoured in a single bite. "It" seemed never to be satisfied, only able to continue its endless consumption.

Another month later, "its" body had grown to a terrifying size of around one billion miles, roughly one ten-thousandth of a light-year in length, approximately a thousand times the diameter of the sun, and still, "it" expanded.

However, since "it" had always been active in the deepest reaches of the starry universe, despite nearly two months passing, the great races remained oblivious, unaware of such a world-shaking catastrophe occurring in the starry universe.

Until this day, "it" once again fancied three stars.

These three stars were peculiar, situated close to each other and forming a triangle, immobile in the middle of the starry universe, never changing position unlike ordinary stars, which was quite strange.

But for "it," all of these were merely food. At this moment, its original mouse head had grown even larger, and furthermore, it had sprouted an additional bull’s head.

This bull’s head closely resembled the Fiery Demon Bull King head of the twelve Primordial Beasts, with two curving horns, unimaginably vast. The mouse and bull mouths opened together, attempting to devour two of the stars simultaneously.

The reason these three stars remained fixed in the void was that inside each star lived an unparalleled powerhouse from the starry universe.

The three supremely powerful beings, all from the Tiger Head Clan amongst the 999 races, were three ancestors of the clan, living agelessly, their strength comparable to that of Peak Immortality. They had harnessed one and two percent of the Solar Energy, respectively, ranking them as incredibly mighty even among those at the peak of immortality.

While these three ancestors of the Tiger Head Clan with the strength of Peak Immortality were deep in cultivation, they were immediately alarmed when "it" devoured space on its approach. However, "it" was too fast. Opening and closing its mouth wide enough to cover the heavens, with a "plop," two of the stars were instantly swallowed. The two Tiger Head Clan ancestors living inside had no time to react before being consumed. Then, they felt the terrifying power of assimilation devouring both them and their sun’s energy.
