Chapter 1252: Chapter 934 Naming
The terrifying gravitational pull at the planet’s core created an atmosphere far denser than Earth’s, which, because of its thickness, could block out the light and heat from the terrifying ten suns outside. Whether a natural masterpiece of the universe or the result of artificial influences, this planet had an almost Earth-like hospitable environment, definitely suitable for human habitation.
And it was an unclaimed world.
Su Yu and Ada, among others, were stunned for quite a while before they all cheered together.
Home, this was by far the best planet, and Su Yu even considered it their future homeland in that instant. Though the planet had a gravitational force a hundred times stronger than Earth’s, this wasn’t too troubling for them with their immense strength. They just needed to adapt for a while.
The only trouble was with some of the ordinary people among them, but with the means Su Yu and Ada had now, these issues could be resolved, and were not difficult problems at all.
"The Creator really is miraculous... To think that such a magical planet could naturally come into being, and... still without living creatures... No, wait, there is life, aren’t those forests life? I believe that even if we hadn’t come here, in a few years, this place would have spawned more advanced life forms."
Qin Jiagui marveled; however, Ada frowned and said, "This place is good, but whether it is naturally formed or the result of artificial factors, that’s hard to say..."
As they spoke, they gradually descended. Su Yu looked at Ada and asked, "You suspect this planet was created by artificial means?"
Ada shook her head and said, "Not necessarily, I can’t be sure, it’s just... there seem to be man-made traces. Yes, there, let’s go there." Suddenly pointing at a spot, she rushed down first.
Su Yu didn’t know what she had discovered but led the others to follow suit.
The place Ada pointed to was at the center of a primeval forest. Upon arrival, they could see thick moss and numerous vines piled up, bulging at some points. Ada, without a word, swung her claws, and waves of energy lifted the moss and vines. Soon, the ruins of ancient buildings, buried for who knows how many years, began to emerge from beneath the greenery.
Qing Huang, Qin Jiagui, and others were stunned. No one had expected to find the remnants of these broken buildings in what appeared to be a primordial forest.
"How could this be..." Zhang Zhongmou murmured to himself.
This was a part of an ancient city whose original appearance was almost obliterated. Though it was nearly assimilated, the ruins were enough evidence to conclude that this planet once harbored life and civilization, which for some unknown reason went extinct. Now, the planet was dead silent, with only countless forests and plants stubbornly surviving.
"It seems you were right; perhaps this planet really is artificial. But now, it has indeed become unclaimed," Su Yu sighed softly.
Ada hummed in acknowledgment: "I wonder which race or type of civilization this belonged to. Ten suns surrounding one planet, that’s quite a grand scale, definitely not simple."
Initially, Su Yu thought it was a natural phenomenon but now, it seemed more likely to have been artificially created, which could remotely suggest the level of civilization that once existed on this planet was astonishing.
"Anyway, for now, this is uninhabited land. From now on, this planet belongs to Lady Ada... and you, Su Yu. Hehe—"
Ada suddenly burst into giggles, clearly quite ecstatic.
"However, it’s odd that such a planet is without a Spirit of the Planet... I wonder how such terrifying gravity was generated on this tiny planet. Ada, I have five Spirits of the Planet in my ring; should we fuse them with the planet?"
Su Yu thought about the Master of Rules, who merged three Spirits of the Planet into a planet’s core, strengthened it to a level that even a star couldn’t destroy it. If he infused all five Spirits of the Planet into this one, it might become indestructible, even by Immortal beings.
Ada pondered for a while and then said, "Take out one Spirit of the Planet and try."
Su Yu acknowledged her suggestion, instructed everyone to withdraw, and retrieved a Spirit of the Planet, a few meters in diameter, from his storage ring.
Once the ruddy Spirit of the Planet was taken out, Su Yu infused it with energy, awakening its instinct.
The instinct of a Spirit of the Planet was to merge within a star, considering the planet as its mother, its destination of return.
Having released the Spirit of the Planet, Su Yu saw it continue to change, expanding, and slowly turning into a red mist, merging into the forest ground, and eventually disappearing altogether.
Su Yu and Ada watched silently before looking at each other and exclaiming together, "Impossible—"
Whether a planet with a infused Spirit of the Planet could be sensed or not, they would know. But now, although the Spirit of the Planet clearly merged into it, it was as if it had just vanished. They couldn’t sense anything, as if the planet still had no Spirit of the Planet within it.
"There’s something odd about this planet, definitely something odd," Ada cried out. "I want to check it out." With that, she transformed into the Third Form and began to shoot off at high speed.
Su Yu had no choice but to stop and stand guard over the others.
This planet was getting stranger and stranger; he couldn’t just leave everyone behind now.
"Hmph, there’s nothing strange at all. You’re just scaring yourselves..."
Suddenly, someone beside him picked up the conversation, Su Yu turned in surprise to see Lei Leian’s eyes roll back as she released the aura of the Master of Rules.
"Is it you, why are you out again?" Su Yu remembered that this body was supposed to be dominated by Lei Leian. There were no enemies around, and no need for battle, so why let the Master of Rules come out?
The Master of Rules chuckled and said, "What, can’t I come out? I forgot to mention, I made a deal with Lei Leian. I stepped in to save her parents, and the price she agreed to pay is that for twenty-four hours each day, half that time, the body must be under my control."
Upon hearing this, Feng Ya in the crowd could no longer hide her excitement and couldn’t help but cry out, "Lei Leian—"
She never expected that after the way she and Ao Lei treated Lei Leian, Lei Leian would still be willing to save them and would even have to pay such a great price. Every day, for half the time, she could only let the Master of Rules take over her body.
"What do you want to do, Master of Rules?" Su Yu’s brow furrowed as the Master of Rules gave an odd laugh, his eyes sharp as he looked around and said, "There are no other beings on this planet, and there’s a hundred times the gravity of Earth, which is just perfect for training. I need to speed up the refinement of the Spear of Orthodoxy and can’t afford to waste any more time. I’m going to find a suitable place to train on this planet. Don’t bother me unless it’s necessary."
After saying this, the Master of Rules shot off with a whoosh. Su Yu wanted to call out but didn’t know what to say, and the Master of Rules had already disappeared from everyone’s sight.
"This woman..." Su Yu sighed helplessly, but there was nothing he could do about her.
Ada quickly returned, resuming her original petite form.
"How did it go? Did you find anything?" Su Yu asked.
Ada shook her head, her little paw touching her chin as she said, "No discovery so far, but I still feel there’s something strange about this planet. Anyway, for now, it seems to be a suitable place for us to live."
Su Yu acknowledged with a grunt and said, "It’s just that the gravity here is a hundred times that of a normal world. It doesn’t affect us much, but there are still some ordinary people who can’t bear it."
Among these thousand people, especially those born in the last few decades, there were some New Humans who had no powers, like Kou Xiaowei. For those capable of mutation, this gravity was terrifying but still possibly adaptable. However, for ordinary people, this horrendous gravity could threaten their lives.
Ada said, "I have a way to deal with this. All those among you who can’t mutate, come here, as well as those whose realm is below the Black Iron Fourth Order."
As the crowd remained within the energy shield Su Yu had extended, nearly a hundred people came forward upon hearing Ada’s words.
Most of these nearly a hundred people were ordinary and unable to mutate, while some were Warriors below the Black Iron Fourth Order.
Ada extended a little paw, and a black flame emerged, which quickly condensed into a black crystal.
"This is the Black Flame Crystal. Open your hearts and accept this Black Flame Crystal. While it won’t grant you any tremendous strength, it can help you withstand the gravity and allow you to move normally."
People did as Ada said and opened their hearts, and soon, nearly a hundred people had the Black Flame Crystal planted within them.
Su Yu remembered that the Black Warriors had these Black Flame Crystals within them. Black Warriors were able to use the energy of these crystals to unleash "Black Flame Hell" together without needing Ada.
Clearly, the "Black Flame Crystal" contained the unique and powerful energy specific to Ada. Now that these ordinary people had the Black Flame Crystal planted within them, they couldn’t unleash the fire of "Black Flame Hell" like Black Warriors, but using the energy of the Black Flame Crystals to withstand the planet’s gravity, a hundred times that of Earth, was not a problem.
"Okay, that should do it."
Seeing Ada say this, Su Yu slowly began to retract the energy shield he had released.
As the energy shield was withdrawn, everyone immediately felt their bodies sink as if suddenly burdened by a huge weight. For those still in the Black Iron Realm, the impact was greatest.
"What’s going on with this place? Why is it so hard to even walk a few steps..." one of the Warriors at the Black Iron level couldn’t help but grimace in discomfort.
