Chapter 1229: Chapter 917 Western Heaven World
Nine hundred and ninety-nine races each had their own Child of Destiny, possessing unique powers of their lineage. Over the years, they had competed fiercely against one another—of the hundred thousand Sons of the Giant Demon, aside from around two thousand, the rest had become nourishment for the Children of Destiny of other races. Similarly, within the bodies of these surviving two thousand Sons of the Giant Demon, each harbored the special powers of at least a hundred races, having tenaciously survived the brutal competition.
When these two thousand Sons of the Giant Demon took action, each of their strengths reached a terrifying level, easily destroying colossal ancient beasts by the billions. Terrifying energies surged into their bodies. The former kings of the Giant Demon Clan, having narrowly escaped with their lives, were shaken to the core when they saw these Sons of the Giant Demon charging towards the other Tide of Colossal Beasts, indomitable and unstoppable along the way.
"How is this possible... each of their strengths... has at least reached the realm of high immortality..." These former kings, watching from afar the power displayed by the Sons of the Giant Demon when they struck the ancient colossal beasts, all gasped in disbelief, hardly trusting their eyes.
Over the years, the Sons of the Giant Demon had grown mightily; the strength of those who had survived reached a daunting level.
When numerous races, countless beings, knew of such a scale of ancient colossal beasts flooding towards the starry universe, there was no escape, and everyone spontaneously fought desperately against these ancient beasts.
The race known as the strongest, the "Western Heavenly Race," summoned countless Arhats and Bodhisattvas. This race, always proclaiming itself as the strongest but never acknowledged by other races, was finally about to demonstrate their unparalleled strength and declare to the entire starry universe that they were indeed the most powerful beings.
The headquarters of the "Western Heavenly Race" was a group of planets linked together by the roots of the "Cosmic Trees," gathered by the ancestors of the Western Heavenly Race, forming a tower-like planet.
These planets amassed together, vaguely forming the shape of a Buddhist Pagoda, named by the Western Heavenly Race as the "Western Heaven World." Among all the races, only the Western Heavenly Race had such a grand scope. Of course, the people of the Western Heavenly Race were widespread across the cosmic space; many planets were occupied by them, but the "Western Heaven World" was the stronghold of the Western Heavenly Race, the gathering place of the strongest Buddhas.
At this moment, the powerful beings from various planets of the Western Heavenly Race began to converge in this "Western Heaven World," countless Arhats and Bodhisattvas of unimaginable ranks, and a multitude of Buddhas gathered there.
A thousand-meter-tall Golden Battle Buddha Lord, with a face of an ape, blazed with intense fighting spirit. His Golden Rod, crafted from the roots of the "Cosmic Tree," was shouldered; behind and beneath him gathered numerous Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, who were quietly waiting for the flow of ancient colossal beasts to arrive, vowing to defend their homeland and the Western Heaven World to the death.
The Battle Buddha Lord, leading countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats, guarded the eastern part of the "Western Heaven World," while the Tri-generation Buddha Lord with three heads, also leading innumerable Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats, defended the southern part of the "Western Heaven World."
The Battle Buddha Lord, inherently possessing the royal lineage of the Golden Violent Ape and a unique existence from the Western Heavenly Race, held unmatched mighty power and wielded the "Golden Rod," crafted from the roots of the "Cosmic Trees." Although he did not refine or wield the power of the constant stars like the sun, he was still truly a being of Peak Immortality.
And the Tri-generation Buddha Lord, possessing heads that represented past, present, and future powers, also did not need the help of constant stars like the sun, similarly possessing power that matched Peak Immortality.
In the western part of the "Western Heaven World," another Buddha Lord commanded countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats, defending the western region.
This Buddha Lord was a female named the Peacock Great Buddha Lord, with a feminine stature and a pair of giant peacock wings on her back. The wings shimmered with incredibly bright Buddha light, making her appear as though a true Buddha had descended, her power limitless.
In the northern part of the "Western Heaven World" was the Hell-Hidden Buddha Lord, the most terrifying among the four great Buddha Lords, with a body colored black, borne from the true eighteen layers of hell itself. He emerged from hell, carving a path of slaughter until he finally attained the status of a Buddha Lord. Under his command were arrays of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats associated with the powers of hell, their Buddha bodies dark and flickering with a sinister and eerie force.
The four great Buddha Lords each guarded one direction of the "Western Heaven World," and the terrifying flood of ancient colossal beasts finally arrived.
Exceeding ten billion, even reaching hundreds of billions, the ancient colossal beasts, after enduring so much, gathered in increasing numbers, densely packed, forming a black beast tide over a billion meters in length, like a true tsunami rushing forward.
These colossal beasts emerged from the southern part of the "Western Heaven World," with the Tri-generation Buddha Lord and his countless subordinated Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats bracing to meet them head-on.
