Chapter 1226: Chapter 914: The Universe’s Doomsday - Tide of Colossal Beasts (Please Vote for Monthly Tickets)_2

Soon, a planet met with disaster.

This uninhabited planet encountered a Tide of Colossal Beasts, and in just a few seconds, it cracked and shattered, swiftly devoured by the terrifying horde. Billions of ancient behemoths densely engulfed the entire planet. By the time the tide had passed and departed, the massive planet had vanished without a trace.

Millions of miles away from the planet that was instantaneously destroyed, there was another planet with a suitable temperature, inhabited by one of the 999 cosmic races in the starry universe—the Giant Demon Clan.

The "Giant Demon Clan," one of the 999 higher intelligent species, had individuals who, upon reaching adulthood, would average around a hundred meters in height. Their legends suggest they possess primordial, demonic blood capable of rivaling true deities. Hence, they called themselves the "Giant Demon Clan."

The planet, known as "Demon Eye," was one of the ten major planets where the "Giant Demon Clan" resided.

Scattered across the universe, the "Giant Demon Clan" spread out over ten planets. These planets orbited a star called "Demon Sun," all of which had been terraformed by the ancestors of the "Giant Demon Clan" to be suitable for their habitation. Among them, "Demon Head Star" integrated the Spirit of the Planet, making it unimaginably durable and the center of power for the entire "Giant Demon Clan."

The "Giant Demon Clan" was distributed over these ten planets, with a total population exceeding fifty billion. Among the nearly thousand high intelligence species of the starry universe, their strength was inferior neither to the Western Heavenly Race nor to the Human Race.

Their combat strength was classified into the lowest eighteen levels of Giant Demon Soldiers, and nine levels of Giant Demon Generals, with the latter having strength equivalent to that of the Silver Soldier of the Human Race.

Above the Giant Demon Generals were the powerful beings known as the Giant Demon Masters. Only those at this level were deemed worthy to be their own masters, again divided into nine levels, ranging in strength from the Demi-god to Divine-level Experts among humans. Above the Giant Demon Masters were the Giant Demon Totems, akin to Totems among humans, and above the Giant Demon Totems were the Giant Demon Kings, corresponding to the Immortal powerhouses of humanity.

At this moment, a horrifying Tide of Colossal Beasts was rampaging wildly, coincidentally passing through the "Demon Sun Star System." The first to be struck was "Demon Eye Planet," located on the outer fringes of the ten major planets surrounding the "Demon Sun."

Nearly eight billion "Giant Demon Clan" people resided on "Demon Eye Planet," the majority of whom were the lowest-ranking Demon Soldiers with mediocre power. The sudden onslaught of this terrifying tide of ancient behemoths was akin to an apocalyptic threat descending without warning—leaving no chance to dodge or resist. In an instant, the sky darkened with the sheer number of these massive creatures, followed by a thunderous roar on the ground as the entire world dissolved into smoke and ash.

The tide, formed by billions of these ancient behemoths, quickly split into several currents, each aimed at other planets. "Demon Eye Star" was utterly devastated in an instant—tens of billions from the Giant Demon Clan met their tragic end in the blink of an eye, many becoming meals within the bellies of these ancient titans.

The other planets, "Demon Wing Star," "Demon Guard Star," "Demon Hero Star," "Demon Sky Star," and the like, all faced assaults. Although each planet was millions of kilometers apart, for ancient behemoths with such overwhelmingly powerful and Heaven-defying abilities, capable of tearing through the vacuum of space, that distance could be traversed in a snap.

At this dire moment, the elite of the "Giant Demon Clan" on "Demon Head Star" rallied—the Giant Demon Generals, the Giant Demon Masters, and even the Giant Demon Totems mobilized, rushing toward the ancient behemoths charging at "Demon Head Star."

The hope of rescuing any other "planet" was now impossible—their only hope was to withstand the surge of the ancient behemoths’ tide on "Demon Head Star."

But as soon as they engaged, they realized it was a fool’s errand; they couldn’t hold them back and were effortlessly overpowered.

Whether it was the Giant Demon Generals or the Giant Demon Masters, even those of the Giant Demon Totem level, they only truly understood the terror of the beast tide once they faced the onslaught of these torrential ancient behemoths. The behemoths included a vast number of monsters over a kilometer tall with Immortal strength. In terms of Immortal beings, no other race could surpass these ancient behemoths.

"Retreat, everyone fall back, flee this place—save whoever can be saved!"

A deafening roar shook the very foundations of the earth, and every creature of the Giant Demon Clan heard it with unmistakable clarity, realizing that their supreme and highly revered leader, "Kafidan, the Fourteenth Generation King of the Giant Demon Clan," had issued the command.

The Fourteenth Generation King of the "Giant Demon Clan" possessed immortal power, yet at this moment he could only let out a desperate roar. Though he was immortal, he was but a single immortal being. Facing the terrifying onslaught of the Tide of Colossal Beasts, he was helpless. As he let out the command, he was simultaneously preparing to tear open the fabric of space and flee, not even sparing a thought for his own wife and children, fearing that any delay might mean missing the chance to escape altogether.

In a short span of time, four of the ten Giant Demon Planets had been destroyed, and the lives of tens of billions of Giant Demon Clansmen had been lost. The horrific energy of life burst forth, filling the entire space with an unimaginable intensity.

It was a bloody moment, with death dancing in the air.

"Hmph, useless creatures, the Giant Demon Clan might perish, but we must not retreat—"

Suddenly, a deep snort of anger came through. With the sound, Kafidan, the Fourteenth Generation King, felt as if he took a heavy blow to the chest, and then lost control of his body as he was sent flying far away. He was hurled into the mass of primeval colossal beasts, causing him to cry out in alarm as he was forced to muster all his might to fend off the attacks of the surrounding primeval beasts: "Ancestor—"

His voice was filled with extreme shock and horror.

The one who had just sent Kafidan flying bore some resemblance to him but emitted an aura far more terrifying than Kafidan’s.

"The Giant Demon Clan will not be so easily destroyed—"

This newly arrived Giant Demon let out an earth-shattering roar and brought his hands together in a forceful clap and then a push, with a thunderous boom instantly slaughtering more than a dozen primeval colossal beasts. The power of this strike had surpassed the realm of an ordinary immortal.

The Fourteenth Generation King, Kafidan, was shocked because this newly emerged being was the Tenth Generation King of the Giant Demon Clan, a figure he had only seen in portraits.

Legend had it that the Tenth Generation King had long since passed away, an ancient being from a time beyond count, and it was unfathomable for Kafidan that this Ancestor would appear at their clan’s most critical moment.

And it wasn’t just the Tenth Generation King; what shocked Kafidan even more was the appearance of the Thirteenth Generation King, Twelfth Generation King, Eleventh Generation King, Ninth Generation King, Eighth Generation King... and even the much older Third Generation King, Second Generation King, who emerged one by one from every direction around "Demon Head Star." Each king struck with earth-shattering might, instantly killing vast numbers of primeval colossal beasts, and none of their strength was less than that of an average immortal being.

With the very foundations of their race shaken and on the brink of total destruction, the successive generations of kings, the long-gone Ancestors of the Giant Demon Clan, could no longer sit idle. They appeared all at once, seeking to protect their race and preserve a glimmer of their bloodline.

Though they had lived for unfathomable ages and achieved immortality, they could not be heartless, they could not stand idly by as their descendants faced complete annihilation.

With the successive kings lending their might, the situation was immediately stabilized. At the very least, they halted the onslaught of the Tide of Colossal Beasts rushing toward the "Demon Head Beast." Only the united front of these superlative immortal beings had any chance of withstanding the horrific Tide of Colossal Beasts.

However, the Giant Demon Clansmen had little time to rejoice before the gathered strength of the successive kings only managed to hold back the tide for a few minutes. Soon, from all sides, wave upon wave of terrifying colossal beasts converged upon them, their numbers doubling, quickly exceeding ten billion, with the primeval colossal beasts over a kilometer in size numbering in the tens of thousands.
