However, as time went by, these tiny bits of golden energy kept accumulating and integrating until a change in quantity led to a qualitative transformation of the soul.

In the refining fire of golden flames, bits of the purest golden energy seeped into the silver mist. After a prolonged refinement, a gradual golden sheen began to emerge within the whirlpools of silver-colored soul mist in Su Yu’s mind.

From a Silver Soul, he finally breached the threshold to become an Undying Spirit.

Utilizing the totemic realm to harness the power of a star to refine the soul, Su Yu may not have been the only person in all of history to do so, but he definitely was the first in a millennium.

With the addition of a bit of the purest energy from St. Elmo’s Fire absorbed into his soul, it was possible for Su Yu’s soul to achieve immortality. And this was only the first step towards becoming a true Undying Spirit.

With a thought, a special power was released, forming an energy shield that blocked a large amount of dust.

As the dust rose up, the dirt sphere disappeared, replaced by Ada, who was of no small size.
