Chapter 1099: 822 Chapter Yin Qi Ghost Fire_1

"Child of Destiny," after a gap of two years in this "Imperial City" of the "Silver Empire" within the Upper Realm, amidst mountains of corpses and seas of blood, Su Yu saw two "Children of Destiny".

Two years, for the average person struggling in their cultivation, might not be enough to break through even a First-Level, but for the "Children of Destiny" who could freely devour energy and even realms from other beings for their own use, two years was enough time for them to ascend to an unimaginably frightening level.

This man and woman, one sitting and one standing on top of a mound of corpses, saw a young man dressed in white robes and pants approaching them through the air from a distance.

"Hmph," a slight snort came from the noses of the man and woman as they saw this young man dressed in white approach by air, clearly possessing great strength, yet they were not the slightest bit afraid.

The entire central Imperial City of the "Silver Empire" had been destroyed by them, in this Upper Realm, they had no existence to fear anymore.

Su Yu looked at the mountains of corpses and seas of blood before him, thought of the cities he had seen destroyed along the way, remembered the destroyed "Black Iron City," the obliterated and charred "Black Martial City," and thought of his still missing parents, Lei Leian, Zhang Zhongmou, and other friends; then, upon seeing this man and woman nonchalantly perched atop this mound of corpses, relishing in the carnage and bloodshed wrought by their own hands, a nameless rage surged skyward within him.

"Humans... are humane because of compassion, because of mercy... To slaughter the innocent and your own kind so indiscriminately, you are even worse than beasts. What right do you have to live in this world?"

Su Yu’s voice was very gentle, his words slowly articulated, his palms extended flatly, and suddenly, space around began to distort and ripple. Quickly, the surrounding scenery transformed, and the entire Imperial City formed a perfect world on its own, existing independently from the Upper Realm.

"Small World? A pseudo-god?" That fat creature, floating in the void, was slightly surprised.

Su Yu had reached the Divine Spirit Realm and could finally display perfectly the "Small World" technique taught to him by Tezcatlipoca. This "Small World" was actually a separate world created using Special Power. After achieving a perfect mutation at Golden Rank 7, his internal and external bodies began to merge. Using Special Power to harness the energy of the world, he created this Small World with ease. From the outside, it seemed as if this part of the world had been suddenly cut away, with no one able to see clearly what was happening inside.

To establish such a "Small World," at the very least, one needed the realm of a Divine Spirit, thus upon seeing Su Yu manifesting the "Small World" and trapping them inside, the fat, pig-like Category 5 Lifeform concluded that Su Yu was indeed a Divine Spirit.

"A pseudo-god?" The woman standing with her arms crossed in front of her chest, full of Ghost Fire, suddenly let out a strange laugh, "Wan Longde, we’ve been in this Upper Realm long enough, and we’ve killed more than enough trash. Who would’ve thought that just before we leave, a pseudo-god would come to us? Let’s use him for a little warm-up, shall we?"

The man sitting on the mound of corpses, with a large head and a skinny body, nodded and replied, "That’s fine. If we can’t easily kill him, maybe we should delay our departure from this world. Wu Zhenmei, will you take care of it, or shall I?"

The woman said indifferently, "Let me handle it. I want to test my abilities on him. After all, you’re not the close-combat type, no need to practice on him."

The man and woman talked amongst themselves as if no one else was present, clearly not considering Su Yu, a pseudo-god, worthy of their concern.

Su Yu had erected a Small World enveloping both himself and the pair, then he coldly watched the man and woman, listening to their conversation, and the woman—around thirty years old and exuding Ghost Fire took her hands down, her eyes tinged with red, locking onto him.

A slight, unusual smile crossed Su Yu’s lips, and in his mind, Tezcatlipoca warned, "Su Yu, be careful. If your power erupts too violently, it will attract that brat from the Aztecs."

Ada laughed quietly, replying, "Old man, haven’t you learned his temperament after being with us for so long? If he’s decided on something, he’ll surely do it. Do you think he would change his mind over concerns about that Immortal?"

Tezcatlipoca paused, then realizing it was true, Ada spoke softly, "Actually, he’s also quite curious to know just how powerful these Children of Destiny have become after two years."

Amidst Ada’s soft whispers, Wu Zhenmei, one of the Children of Destiny, took the initiative to attack.

Her figure flickered, leaving the mound of corpses and appeared a hundred meters in front of Su Yu. As she slightly raised her hands, streams of air, almost invisible to the naked eye, started to jet out from her seven orifices. These streams, imperceptible to the ordinary person, could be sensed by Su Yu.

Seven streams of air jetted out from Wu Zhenmei’s seven orifices, conjointly converging in less than a second. They quickly spread throughout a hundred-meter radius around her, continuing to expand.

Within half a second of her emitting these streams, Su Yu’s figure flashed backward in retreat.

The air current was invisible to the naked eye, emanating a ghastly aura. Su Yu sensed something amiss and was reluctant to be drawn into it.

Wu Zhenmei let out a laugh, "Poor deity, my ’Yin Qi’ can expand infinitely outward, and the speed will only get faster—you can’t escape."

With a sinister chuckle, Wu Zhenmei’s figure flashed suddenly, pouncing towards Su Yu, who was retreating. The "Yin Qi" emanating from her body, invisible to the naked eye, had already spread to a diameter of two hundred meters. As she moved, the spherical field with a diameter of two hundred meters shifted along with her.

She was right; as long as one engaged with her, escaping the range of this "Yin Qi" was impossible unless one could maintain a distance of hundreds of meters from her without getting close.

As she launched herself, the scope of the "Yin Qi" quickly expanded to three hundred meters. Within Wu Zhenmei’s body, it was as if there was an endlessly powerful steam engine spouting forth.

One dashed back, the other lunged forward, and before long, Su Yu had nowhere left to retreat—behind him was the edge of his own small world. If he retreated any further, he would have to break through his small world himself.

At this moment, the range of Wu Zhenmei’s "Yin Qi" had reached a diameter of five hundred meters.

With the edge of the small world behind him, Su Yu hesitated briefly, and with a creepy laugh, Wu Zhenmei lunged. Instantly, Su Yu felt an icy chill spread over his limbs and face, as if suddenly plunging into an icehouse. It wasn’t just the cold—he also faintly felt as if countless threads were sticking to his body, making his movements sluggish.

Su Yu knew that this must be the effect of Wu Zhenmei’s released "Yin Qi."

It turned out that this "Yin Qi" had the effect of freezing one’s enemy, invading the body, and slowing down their movements. Wu Zhenmei, within this "Yin Qi," wasn’t only unhindered. Instead, she became even faster and her attacks more powerful due to the propulsion of the "Yin Qi."

The ability to release such eerie "Yin Qi" was certainly terrifying.

Swallowed by this "Yin Qi" and dragged into its midst, Su Yu moved slightly and discovered the subtlety of this "Yin Qi"; his speed was reduced by at least thirty percent due to the slowing effect of the "Yin Qi."

With a thought, Wu Zhenmei raised her right hand, and a glob of glistening "Ghost Fire" appeared in the palm of her right hand. This "Ghost Fire," in tandem with the "Yin Qi," whooshed and instantly spread over hundreds of meters in radius. Su Yu, dragged into the range of "Yin Qi," had no way to avoid it and was swiftly engulfed.

While the "Yin Qi"’s effect could indeed slow down an opponent’s actions, its real purpose was akin to easily flammable "oil." It was as if the "Yin Qi" first trapped the enemy, then the "Ghost Fire" ignited the "Yin Qi," making the "Yin Qi" burst into flames like petrol, instantly engulfing and burning everything within its range.

The "Ghost Fire"’s power was extremely terrifying—even ordinary deities would be turned into cinders if consumed by it.

When she attacked the "Imperial City," Wu Zhenmei used "Yin Qi" combined with "Ghost Fire" to reduce several Elders of the Silver Empire to ashes in one fell swoop.

"Two years have truly brought many changes. After experiencing widespread slaughter, the current Child of Destiny finally possesses sufficient experience. He is no longer the naive fool he once was," Ada lamented while lying on Su Yu’s shoulder. Now, as Su Yu was engulfed by "Ghost Fire," she wasn’t worried for him but rather impressed by Wu Zhenmei’s formidable strength.

Almost the moment Su Yu was consumed by the "Ghost Fire," a layer of Golden Dragon Scales formed as "armor" appeared on his body’s surface. Concurrently, with a sizzling noise, the Golden Giant Arm, Golden Dragon Scales, rows of sharp spikes, and a pair of dragon’s claws materialized, transforming him into a ten-meter-tall Golden Dragon Scaled Giant.

The "Ghost Fire" scorched the "armor" made of Golden Dragon Scales, emitting a sizzling sound. With a stomp in the void, a "pop" resonated, and a ripple-like shockwave burst forth, as Su Yu shot out in a blaze of golden light.

"Be careful—" Far behind, the man who sat leisurely atop a mountain of corpses, Wan Longde, suddenly had a drastic change in expression, crying out in alarm. Alas, it was too late. Wu Zhenmei’s grimacing laugh instantly turned into a scream. Her face took a heavy blow, and she spiraled away like a kite with a broken string, flying far into the distance.

The punch left a clear, indented imprint on Wu Zhenmei’s face—one eye burst from its socket, the nose completely shattered, and most of her teeth from the mouth knocked out. Her face, once shrouded in Yin Qi, suddenly became as grotesque and vicious as a malevolent ghost.

With a thunderous boom, Wu Zhenmei slammed into the mountain of corpses and couldn’t crawl out for a long time.

This punch, Su Yu had actually pulled his punches. Had he exerted more strength, he could have easily shattered Wu Zhenmei’s head. But in doing so, the protective fate power shielding her would have descended.
