Chapter 1085: Chapter 812: The Heart Awakens (Vote for Monthly Ticket)_2

Tezcatlipoca spoke slowly, Su Yu nodded and said, "Indeed, the level of that power is clearly far beyond our own. Will that storm’s power appear again? If it does, we might be able to use this power to escape from this world."

Tezcatlipoca shook his head and said, "Boy, haven’t you understood yet? Why in this world... I mean, in this Independent Space we know nothing about, do the blood vessels on the walls protect you? They isolate your breath, letting you escape the clutches of the figure in blue?"

Su Yu was slightly taken aback. Indeed, he had been thinking and speculating all along—the Giant Will within him, the sorrow he felt upon entering this space—could it be that there is some kind of connection between the two?

Ada exclaimed in surprise, "Tezcatlipoca, are you trying to say that maybe that spatial crack and the sudden storm were meant for Su Yu? That they were meant to drag Su Yu into this space? Speaking of which, the Wooden Man, Giant Will, Timis... If there is indeed a connection, then is it because of the Giant Will inside Su Yu?"

Su Yu hummed in agreement, speaking with a heavy voice, "For now, that’s the only possibility. But having just suffered a serious blow, that willpower seems to have fallen into a slumber. However, if this space truly intends to keep us here, then what is ’its’ purpose?"

Ada sighed and said, "I don’t know. At the moment, we have no other choice but to wait. If it is indeed the ’heart’ before us that wants us here, I think ’it’ must have some purpose."

Su Yu slowly sat down, at this moment, he began to worry about the safety of his father, Zhang Zhongmou, Su Yun, Lei Leian, and others.

With the Wooden Man, he was not worried about them. But now that the fate of the Wooden Man was uncertain, in that terrifying world akin to doomsday, what had become of Zhang Zhongmou and the rest?

No matter how much he worried and fretted, in this world, he was completely helpless. Even with his current energy, he couldn’t inflict the slightest damage to this world. It was known that, even those stronger than the figure in blue and the Wooden Man couldn’t damage this space in the slightest during their chaotic battle, let alone the current Su Yu and Ada.

Tezcatlipoca stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the gigantic heart above, murmuring, "Timis... The legendary Timis... Could it really exist? Could this heart belong to Timis, and if it’s true, does it mean that Timis is still alive? But how could the heart of the Timis, which formed the Black Iron World, appear here? What kind of place is that world, and what is this Independent Space?"

Too many questions filled the mind of this progenitor of the three races and civilizations, causing a whirl of confusion.

After a long while, it was uncertain how much time had passed, Ada suddenly said, "I think, when Su Yu and I found that world similar to a Divine Pit, it was probably not by chance. Perhaps all of this is being orchestrated step by step under the influence of some force... In that world filled with Divine Bones, those who reaped the greatest benefits were definitely the Children of Destiny... Only their Seed Power could easily merge with the power of those Divine Bones."

Hearing Ada say this, Su Yu suddenly thought of a question and said, "Speaking of which, it’s indeed very strange. The willpower within me is very interested in the Seed Power of the Children of Destiny, but it seems to have no interest in these Divine Bones... These Children of Destiny can easily merge and absorb the power of the Divine Bones, but my willpower apparently doesn’t have that ability."

Logically, the Giant Will should be more powerful than the Seed Power since it can even devour ’999’, but while the Seed Power can integrate Divine Bones for their own use, the Giant Will does not have that ability.

Ada heard this and smiled faintly, saying, "It’s quite simple. If we liken the Seed Power of these Children of Destiny to pigs reared for meat, then the Giant Will within you is like the humans who can eat the pork, while those Divine Bones are the fodder used to feed and stimulate the pigs’ growth. Humans eat pork, but no human would directly consume the fodder for pigs, right? Therefore, it makes sense that your Giant Will is not interested in the Divine Bones."

Su Yu was startled, then shook his head and laughed. Ada’s metaphor was far too vivid; it was hard not to understand. In such an Independent Space, where the concept of time was completely absent, Su Yu had no idea how long he had been there. He only felt a hunger-pang amidst the fishy smell, but later, perhaps due to extreme hunger, he no longer felt it.

It might have been a day, it might have been ten days. At first, Su Yu still had the patience to chat with Ada or Tezcatlipoca, but eventually they grew weary, with nothing left to say. Ada then lay on one side, slowly merging and absorbing the energy from the blue liquid he had ingested, undergoing once more a metamorphosis and evolution, while Su Yu sat cross-legged, continuously calling out to the Giant Will within him.

When the blue figure struck with a punch, it dealt a heavy blow to the Giant Will. Su Yu didn’t know how long it had been dormant but, one day, he suddenly opened his eyes as the long-silent willpower within him surged forth once again.

This power of will had awakened.

As the power of will awoke, Su Yu immediately jumped up. At the same moment, the previously dissipated shadow behind him reappeared almost without his summoning—a semi-transparent dragon’s head rose high, aiming at the heart hanging above, as large as a mountain.

Ada and Tezcatlipoca both stood up in shock. Now, everyone suspected that the power of will had some connection to this heart suspended in the void. Now that the willpower inside Su Yu had finally awakened, what connection could there be between the two? Whose heart was this? And why was it still alive?

The shadow behind Su Yu rose and lunged directly at the massive heart in the sky, almost as if instinct drove it. The shadow and the Giant Will plunged into the heart above, and at the same moment, the entire world’s intersecting blood vessels began to fluctuate unnaturally.

To Su Yu’s, Ada’s, and Tezcatlipoca’s astonishment, the blood vessels suddenly contracted, the clear sound of blood flow echoed within them.

As the Giant Will’s shadow merged with the huge heart above, Ada and Tezcatlipoca felt nothing. But in Su Yu’s mind, a stream of information began to trickle in. Soon, Su Yu looked up only to see that within the silent heart as big as the sky, some ancient message or consciousness that had slept for countless years resonated with the Giant Will inside Su Yu and slowly awakened.

As the two consciousnesses resonated, golden light began to flow almost without Su Yu’s summoning. Golden Wings fluttered, and countless Golden Feathers with flowing luster danced in the air. Six Golden Wings opened, obscuring the sun.

After endless months of quiet transformation, the once great and revered being enveloped in Golden Dragon Scales with six dragons and six wings descended.

Immeasurably tall, towering from earth to heaven, a pair of Golden Giant Arms reached out, touching the heart as big as a mountain, gently caressing it, followed by a deep, sorrowful sigh.

At the same moment, atop the mountain-sized heart, light radiated, and a remnant wave of consciousness began to awaken and release.

Although Ada and Tezcatlipoca were once known as great beings, at that moment, they could only look up from afar, merely spectators in this space. Here, where they had once dominated a century, they were merely two insignificant creatures.(To be continued. For the continuation of this story, please visit www.qidian.com.
