Chapter 1069: Chapter 801: The Terrifying Mysterious World_1

The Green Giant embraced the two ten-meter-tall Golden People, and then assimilated them into its own body.

By the time the two Golden People realized something was amiss, their bodies had already been devoured and fused into the Green Giant’s body. Soon after, the bodies of the Golden People were continuously dissolved and disappeared, while the originally two hundred-meter-tall Green Giant grew another dozen meters in height out of thin air.

In just a short dozen seconds, the two Golden People were digested and merged by the Green Giant, which then writhed its body and expelled some of the residues from its body.

Several beings, tens of thousands of meters away from the Green Giant, witnessed this scene from afar. They exchanged glances, then drew in a sharp breath.

"Don’t chase it anymore. Unless the nine major Rule Powers act together or fate descends, trying to capture this monster will cost us too much. The price would be too bitter, absolutely not worth it. Alas, let’s head back."

One of the entities sighed and then vanished into the nothingness of the Dark World.

The Eight-Armed Green Giant, having swallowed two Golden People and grown more than ten meters taller, kept moving through space. It seemed that Su Yu’s immense will and the force of the nine Rules instilled an instinctive fear in it, causing it to keep fleeing through the void, desperately trying to get as far away from Su Yu and the others as possible. Unwittingly, it had arrived at an endlessly vast Dark World.

In this dim world, towering snow-white pillars stood tall, like giant ribs.

The Green Giant fled in panic, unaware of its destination. As it beheld the towering ribs in the distance, a sudden fear struck it, and just as it attempted to flee, a soft hissing sound emerged from the dark void at the end of its path.

This hissing was slow, yet as it sounded, the entire infinite world seemed to tremble, as if the heavens and the earth were about to overturn.

It seemed as if an unprecedentedly massive creature was awakening within the void; disturbed by the inadvertent intrusion of the Eight-Armed Green Giant, it awoke, and then, breath was exhaled, slowly followed by a barely discernible consciousness speaking.

"Hungry... seems... some... food... tasteless... discard... pity..."

With these faint words resonating, vibrating the entire world, two fingers extended outwards.

These two fingers, white as jade, each over five hundred meters in length, pierced through the sky, suddenly reaching out from the boundless void and lightly pinched, capturing the Eight-Armed Green Giant between them.

The Eight-Armed Green Giant let out a terrified howl, struggling fiercely, but this powerful entity that could easily devour two Golden People and could only be restrained by Su Yu’s immense will combined with the nine Rules was as fragile as an insignificant insect beneath these fingers, each over five hundred meters long and one hundred meters in diameter. With just a slight pinch, green fluid incessantly oozed from the Green Giant’s body.

Outside the void, the rushing sound of breath, like wind through bellows, constantly shook the world, as if this boundless realm could no longer hold, and would soon shatter under the force of the breath.

Then, the two fingers, holding the Eight-Armed Green Giant, retracted and disappeared into the void, leaving behind only the desperate and abruptly silenced shriek of the Green Giant.

Afterward, all went silent again, as if everything that had just happened was nothing but a dream.

This strange world, filled with towering, rib-like white columns, was brimming with endless mystery, horror, and strangeness... and almost no creature ever dared enter.

Within the world of nothingness, Su Yu slowly recuperated, finally integrating the energy that had been absorbed by his immense will. With just a casual bite from the dragon head amidst his shadow, he could tear open the void. At this moment, Su Yu realized that, without knowing it, he had become immensely powerful.

When he opened his eyes and stood up, the Wooden Man gave him a knowing smile and said, "Kid, congratulations. You stumbled upon such a once-in-a-millennium opportunity again."

Su Yu smiled faintly, while Lei Leian approached him with a look of concern and said, "Su Yu, are you alright?"

"It’s nothing, speaking of which I have to thank you for today," Su Yu said. "If not for the power of your rules, it would have been incredibly difficult to trap that mature Seed Monster."

Hearing this, Lei Leian shook her head slightly and replied, "No, that was the Master of Rules’ power, not my instinct. My abilities are meager; I wasn’t much help at all."

"How could that be?" Su Yu reached out to hold Lei Leian’s hand. On the other side, Ada and the other four Category 5 Lifeforms let out long howls and woke up one after another. Ada said with some excitement, "Finally, I’ve reached the peak state of the Second Form. Just one more step and I can enter into the state of the Third Form. Unfortunately, it’s still just a bit out of reach," showing a mix of excitement and regret on his face.

Bai Ze didn’t speak but its figure kept elongating until it slowly transformed into a hundred-meter tall snow-white creature with the head of a deer and the body of a human. Clearly, it had made a breakthrough and could now exhibit its Second Form in full maturity.

As for the Qiongqi King and White-headed Zhu Yan, they had absorbed the least energy, but they too faintly felt the peak of the First Form within reach. The breakthrough to the Second Form was not far off for them either.

This time, it could be said that everyone had made tremendous gains. The power of the mature Perfect Seed was simply inconceivable, and even more miraculous was that after the seed had ripened, its Seed Power of destiny no longer descended to interfere. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to obtain it so easily.

"Let’s go back," said Su Yu, after a mission that could be described as a great haul. Leaving the virtual world, they quickly appeared above Black Iron City.

Ada and the other Category 5 Lifeforms shrank in size and returned to rest on the shoulders of their respective Masters of Companion.

The wooden man smiled and said, "The battle in Black Iron City must have shocked those people from India... To avoid trouble, I sealed the aura of everyone in Black Iron City. However, they suffered such a defeat in the previous battle, I doubt they will let it rest and that could be troublesome."

The majority of the Children of Destiny were not yet very powerful, but these Children of Destiny were protected by the power of destiny, and their luck was so unbelievable that aside from Su Yu’s power of will, which could overpower them, others were indeed helpless against the Children of Destiny. Therefore, the wooden man had isolated the entire "Black Iron City’s" aura that day to avoid attracting the flies drawn to the powerful Demi-gods within the city.

Su Yu nodded and hummed in agreement. Ada said, "I think they will probably organize another strong assault, but as long as we hit them hard again and intimidate them, I believe they’ll be a lot more subdued."

Ada and the wooden man’s conjecture was not wrong. The four Children of Destiny who had absorbed a large amount of Seed Power from Su Yu and escaped back reported the process of the battle at "Black Iron City." Although they were afraid, the other Children of Destiny became excited instead.

The Indians who emerged from the various Heavenly Pit Forests formed several large forces and countless small groups. The total number of Children of Destiny among them exceeded nine thousand.

Among them, Froz and other Children of Destiny were part of one of these large forces. This force’s main members came from the national religion of the former India, Hinduism. Nearly eighty percent of Indians were followers of Hinduism, among whom many were highly skilled in the practice of yoga.

In the peaceful years of the past, these traders did not show off and some even remained unknown for their entire lives. But with their descent into this cruel world, they became the preferred choices for destiny’s seeds. Their physical fitness, honed by their practices and several times better than average, gave them an advantage at the starting line. Coupled with the power of the seeds and compared to ordinary evolvers, they possessed absolutely formidable strength, uniting and forming one of the several large Indian forces.

The "Sky Moon City" taken down by them was renamed by them to the "Indian Holy City," becoming their stronghold. After the Demon Beast Mountain Range battle and Sky Main City’s collapse, they were about to take over the ruled area of Sky Main City, only to stumble badly in the inconspicuous Black Iron City.

Within this large force, there were nearly a thousand Children of Destiny, but most of them roamed freely, absorbing any energy they could to improve themselves. The Children of Destiny remaining in the "Indian Holy City" numbered only around a hundred. When they heard about the ordeal of Froz and others, they were first shocked, then felt an excitement building up.

The cautious ones thought it was best to plan carefully since they had never encountered the power that could devour a Child of Destiny. The more impatient ones, however, called for everyone to go to "Black Iron City" together and destroy these damned natives.

One hundred Category 5 Lifeforms, each having reached the Divine Spirit Realm, along with a hundred Children of Destiny, did not believe the people of Black Iron City could resist.

"You, one hundred Category 5 Lifeforms, work together to trap the fellow who can devour the power of the Children of Destiny. Leave the rest to us, the Children of Destiny," they believed. "I don’t think the others could possibly have the same power. I’ve heard that there are plenty of Demi-god powerhouses inside; after we devour the power of a Demi-god, we’ll work together to destroy that damned guy. Although this battle carries certain risks, the rewards are immense," one of the most impulsive ones wanted to take action.

Meanwhile, the cautious ones slowly said, "Our strength is not really that great yet. Since such a monster has appeared there, why rush to seek revenge? After all, we as the Children of Destiny evolve at an unprecedented rate. Why not wait until we are strong enough before we go and easily destroy that place?"(To be continued, for further stories, please visit www.qidian.com.
