Chapter 1061: Chapter 795: Waging War Against India_1

"The battle at Demon Beast Mountain Range," led by Sky Main City, saw the Hundred Cities Alliance Army crumble in the face of the Indian army led by over twenty ’Children of Destiny’ of Indian descent. Many fled toward Black Iron City.

Among those fleeing to Black Iron City were some familiar faces, such as the City Lords Fire General and Iron General from General City, the closest city to Black Iron City, the City Lord of Bloodline City and his son Yakri, who had once been infatuated with Su Yun and was ultimately driven away by her.

They were all aware of some details about Black Iron City and knew of Su Yu’s fearsomeness; thus, instinctively, they sought refuge in Black Iron City amidst their defeat.

From a distance, Su Yu watched them approach. He recognized many among them, such as Fire General and Iron General, and the handsome youth Yakri, along with Nian Nujiao, the City Lord from Hundred Flowers City, the dwarf Lord with a large beard from Earth’s Core City, and a contingent that was loyal to Lei Leian from Sky Main City, including those barefoot White-robed people.

Having encountered them a few times before, Su Yu didn’t feel it was right to stop them. He simply watched from afar, wordless. Chasing after them was an Indian army numbering in the tens of thousands.

This time, the Indian army’s charge was led by over twenty ’Children of Destiny’ who didn’t even need to deploy their Category 5 Lifeforms—relying on their own abilities and command, they easily crushed the hundred thousand strong army of Sky Main City.

A massive number of deserters crowded in front of the closed gates of Black Iron City, hesitant to force their way in. Soon, they amassed outside Black Iron City, while countless Indians had already surrounded them along with the city.

The residents of Black Iron City were alarmed, with numerous Black Iron Warriors gripping their weapons, ready for combat at the city gates. However, Ada’s Black Warriors chose not to show themselves; to them, these skirmishes between the Black Iron Warriors were of little interest.

"City Lord, what do we do now?" Jiang Hai, one of the three deputy lords, emerged and appeared beside Su Yu.

Su Yu was perched atop the highest hall of Black Iron City—a place the wooden man used to frequent before Su Yu’s return. Now that Su Yu was back, the wooden man had vanished again, likely in search of another body.

The blue figure guarding the dark vortex at Demon Beast Mountain Range had intrigued him, causing the wooden man to focus on reclaiming his other bodies and to aspire for another showdown with the blue figure.

Ada lay upon Su Yu’s shoulder, lazily licking her little paws, disinterested in the tens of thousands of Indian soldiers swarming in the distance. This was a minor matter, naturally left for Su Yu to handle.

Sitting on the roof of the hall, Su Yu watched everything unfold and slowly said, "Pass on my order, let these Indian Asans make their own way out. I have no interest in them, but Black Iron City cannot be insulted with impunity."

Before Su Yu had fallen into this world, he had no particular liking for certain groups, such as Indians or others, and could be considered somewhat nationalistic. But now, with his realm elevated and dealings reaching levels that involved racial conflicts, he saw these nationalist and ethnic struggles as trivial.

If Su Yu had retained his former mindset upon gaining this great power, he might have gone directly to those countries he disliked. But now, he certainly wouldn’t act on such impulses, not engaging in such pointless conflicts—provided, of course, that others did not provoke him first.

Upon receiving Su Yu’s command, Jiang Hai acknowledged it and swiftly leapt away. He soon reached the ramparts of Black Iron City and yelled at the approaching Indian army, "This is Black Iron City, ruled by the great Su Yu. All unrelated individuals must depart immediately—"

With a hint of amusement, Su Yu watched as Jiang Hai left, with Zhang Zhongmou, Zhao Shichang, and others joining him on the wall. Perched on Zhang Zhongmou’s shoulder was a small monkey with a white head and red body, the matured White-headed Zhu Yan, who revealed a look of awe at the sight of Ada.

"Old Zhongmou, do you think these Indian Asans will withdraw on their own?" Su Yu asked with a slight smile as he saw Zhang Zhongmou and Zhao Shichang arrive.

Zhang Zhongmou excitedly replied, "Those who know better will leave. But these Asans are often arrogant. If you don’t give them a good pounding, they might not recognize the severity of the situation."

Since acquiring White-headed Zhu Yan, Zhang Zhongmou’s realm had advanced rapidly. He had now reached the Bronze 1st Rank.

Zhao Shichang wasn’t far behind. After being washed with the Water of the Netherworld, his realm too had risen swiftly, making him a Black Iron Eighth Stage powerhouse.

At Zhang Zhongmou’s words, Su Yu laughed heartily and said, "Old Zhongmou, hand me a cigarette; it’s been a long time since I’ve smoked."

Zhang Zhongmou chuckled and tossed him a cigarette. When Su Yu had just returned, the huge difference had made Zhang Zhongmou feel somewhat awkward. Now that he too had bound himself to the White-headed Zhu Yan, his confidence had returned, and gradually Zhang Zhongmou reverted to his former self.

Zhang Zhongmou lit one for himself, then lit one for Su Yu as well, laughing as he asked, "What’s this, you’ve learned to smoke too?"

Su Yu took a drag and then exhaled, leaning against the slanted ceiling behind him, a hint of nostalgia in his voice as he said, "This feeling... it’s been so long, this comfortable sensation."

Zhao Shichang, however, interjected with both nervousness and excitement, "Brother Su, there are so many Indians..." He was uncomfortable calling Su Yu the City Lord, yet didn’t dare to call him by his name, so many of those who came with Su Yu began to call him Brother Su instead.

Su Yu smiled faintly and said, "I hope they have the sense to know their place."

Atop the city gate, just as Jiang Hai’s voice faded, a burst of boisterous laughter came from afar. In this world, the natives and even those from the Ten Great Giant Cities knew of Su Yu’s name, which commanded respect from everyone. But to these Indians, who had only recently come out of the Heavenly Pit Forest and were slowly forming national rules, names like Su Yu and Black Iron City were mere rubbish. When they followed the fleeing forces from General City and Hundred Flowers City here and saw that "Black Iron City" had gathered a large number of humans, they quickly developed murderous intentions, wanting to destroy this place in one fell swoop.

After the battle at Demon Beast Mountain Range, where a hundred thousand soldiers from the Sky Main City and the Hundred Cities had crumbled, they fled in all directions, and more than twenty Children of Destiny scattered, each leading their armies in pursuit. Among them, five Children of Destiny had chased down to "Black Iron City".

Now, these five Children of Destiny had gathered together, and having heard Jiang Hai’s words from a distance—even though they didn’t understand Chinese—the meaning was conveyed through Category 5 Lifeforms, and they couldn’t help but laugh out loud together.

"Shamar, within this city, there are many demi-god powerhouses... and also, three mature Category 5 Lifeforms..." warned a small Category 5 Lifeform perched on the shoulder of one man who, with his jet-black skin and stubble-covered face, bore the typical traits of an Indian.

This particular Category 5 Lifeform sensed the Black Warriors inside "Black Iron City", as well as Zhang Zhongmou, Lei Rui, and Su Guozheng’s Category 5 Lifeforms. It failed to sense Ada, and Qin Jiagui, who had rushed to look for his relatives among the Ten Great Giant Cities, had not yet returned.

Upon hearing this Category 5 Lifeform’s warning, the five Children of Destiny were not only unafraid but excited as well.

They all knew now that they were protected by destiny and could not be killed. Upon hearing that there were many demi-god powerhouses in "Black Iron City", they were not frightened but delighted.

"This is truly a good place. Leave those three Category 5 Lifeforms to you guys; we’ll handle the rest. By the way, Froz, should we call some others over?" inquired the burly man named Shamar, as he looked at another young man with a sullen, feminine face.

The soft-faced youth named Froz laughed gently, "Isn’t this an excellent opportunity? So many demi-god powerhouses, just for the five of us to share... Why should we benefit others?"

Shamar nodded and commanded, "Alright, then it’s decided. Pass the order—"

At his command, tens of thousands of Indian soldiers, like a tide, began surging towards Black Iron City.

The refugees from various cities who had gathered in front of Black Iron City now had no way back and could only let out roars and bellowing shouts as they rushed forward to meet the onslaught.

The five great Children of Destiny, as outstanding as a mighty force, charged toward "Black Iron City".

Sitting in the grand hall, Su Yu let out a faint cold laugh, suddenly stood up, and murmured to himself, "These Indians..." He casually tossed away the cigarette he had only taken two puffs from.

Tens of thousands of Indians charged from all directions, their momentum not small. Zhang Zhongmou, rubbing his fists together with excitement, said, "These damned Indians, we’ll show them the strength of us Chinese." With a leap, he jumped down and shouted at the same time, "Zhao Shichang, come on, let’s beat up some Indians."

Zhao Shichang also laughed heartily. His form mutated continuously until he transformed into a gigantic black mantis with human-like features. With a spring of his legs, he leapt away. Having reached Black Iron Eighth Stage, he naturally was not afraid of those Indians. Although he was no match for the Children of Destiny, he had no fear of the ordinary Indians.

Among the tens of thousands of Indian mutant powerhouses led by these five Children of Destiny, one could say there were all kinds of people. However, with the passage of time, they had slowly began to form a new power structure with the Children of Destiny at the helm. And with the symbiotic relationship with Category 5 Lifeforms, it was easy for them to establish their leadership.
