Chapter 102: Chapter 100: Deep Sleep

Su Yun, Ma Ziye, and the others felt extremely anxious, but they could only watch from a distance as Su Yu raved like a madman. They watched as he battered the Golden Goblin until its flesh flew off, tearing its corpse into two. They saw the Golden Goblin King drawing a circular arc towards Su Yu with its one arm, and Su Yu blocking it with his left arm, while his right arm swatted out.

With a smack, countless tentacles exploded, enveloping the Golden Goblin King and forming a cocoon-like structure that continuously squeezed inward. Eventually, a large amount of fresh blood and crushed flesh leaked from the cracks in the cocoon. When the tentacles finally dispersed, the once robust Golden Goblin King had turned into a mess of bloody flesh, its features undistinguishable.

"Hey, Su Yu, wake up." Seeing that Su Yu seemed fine, no signs of injury could be found on him, Su Yun shook his body urgently. However, Su Yu seemed to be deep asleep and couldn’t be awoken.

"What should we do?" Su Yun became anxious. Ma Ziye responded after a moment of contemplation: "Don’t panic. Perhaps his sleep was induced by overexertion. It’s all good as long as he’s fine." She stretched out her hand and felt Su Yu’s forehead. His temperature was normal, which seemed to confirm that he was merely sleeping deeply.

The blood-red body was of a monkey, with the head resembling a dog’s. It was undoubtedly a Blood Monkey Dog.

Blood Monkey Dogs are solitary creatures with relatively small numbers. They move swiftly, often hiding and ambushing passing humans or other creatures. They have a preference for the hearts and brains of animals.

The group had encountered a Blood Monkey Dog in the past, which threw them into a state of high alert, causing a scene of chaos.

However, that was before when their strength wasn’t as impressive as it is now. Even when they were suddenly attacked, Qin Jiagui managed to respond, and with a low growl, he lunged forward to dodge. Beside him, Zhao Shichang silently swung his right hand, his long one-foot-long bone knife cutting through the air.
