Chapter 230: Chapter 120 Who’s Little Man is Angry_3 Chapter 230: Chapter 120 Who’s Little Man is Angry_3 David tried to follow, but Denny threw a coat over his face, and the other people at the party swarmed to cover David’s face with their clothes, preventing him from chasing.

By the time David finally removed the clothes, Denny had run off without a trace.

David flung the clothes to the ground in frustration.

“Damn it, that idiot has no idea this isn’t just about a few news articles.”

“The higher-ups haven’t reacted yet, but they will soon enough.”

Meanwhile, Yun Yuwan jumped off Wen Yangzhi the moment he suggested trying something that night.

He tried to catch her, but she was as slippery as an eel and dashed out of the room.

Suddenly, she noticed a document on the tray that Assistant Zheng had used to carry the cake.

The cover was the same color as the tray, and at first glance, it went unnoticed.

When Wen Yangzhi stepped out, Yun Yuwan quickly warned him, “Brother, there is a document here.”

Wen Yangzhi thought it was her excuse to avoid him, and with a snort of derision, he still took the document from her hand.

But upon opening it, his expression gradually grew colder.

The document from Lin Zhidong was provocative, implying a call for a board meeting to add two of his people to the board.

It argued that since Wen Yangzhi had taken control of the Wen Corporation, its ranking had fallen considerably.

It suggested he go back to studying art, as finance was not his forte, and not to drag down the Wen Corporation.

Yet, it was this affable uncle who had personally taught him to draw, the rules of photography, and encouraged him to study art.

He used to tell him that all work has dignity, and that people in the limelight never get the chance to feel the breeze he had experienced or to depict the world as he had drawn it.

Now, the man who was so close to him, mocking him, saying he was only good at painting and not business.

The one relative he remembered being close to, even closer than his parents, had turned out to be so rotten.

Seeing his expression grow colder, Yun Yuwan leaned in to look at the document.

Though she couldn’t understand it, she did see the sticky note.

It was telling Wen Yangzhi to roll back to his art studies.

If it were someone else, maybe Wen Yangzhi wouldn’t be affected much.

But Yun Yuwan now knew this was his Uncle Lin.

Without saying a word, Wen Yangzhi simply snapped the document shut when she looked over, “What would you like for lunch?”

Watching his expression cautiously, Yun Yuwan’s voice pretended normalcy, “I would like to eat local Shanghai cuisine.”

“Mm,” he responded indifferently, as if nothing had happened.

He stretched out his hand, and his long fingers unlatched from the top of his tie knot as if feeling constrained, slightly loosening left and right before yanking off the tie altogether and casually tossing it onto his desk.

“Let’s go.”

No matter how calm his voice, Yun Yuwan could tell he was truly upset, and when they went to the garage, he didn’t call for the driver.

Several of his cars were parked in the parking lot; he was obviously planning to drive her himself.

Driving must have been a way for him to vent and clear his mind.

The two walked silently through the underground garage, one after the other.

As Wen Yangzhi was about to unlock a car, Yun Yuwan suddenly stepped in front of him, peering at him, “Who’s the little man getting angry now?”

He didn’t want to engage with her teasing and raised his hand, the car key in his hand awakening a Bugatti parked slightly ahead.

The headlights flashed twice.

But Yun Yuwan circled around him, looking at him from the left, then the right, “Let me see.”

Wen Yangzhi looked down at her impassively, while Yun Yuwan swung her two braided pigtails, peering from left to right.

She leaned in to look at him, her voice sweet, “Turns out it’s my man.”

He kept his face cold, not responding to her.

Playing the naif, Yun Yuwan continued, “Why are you angry? Our little Yangzhi stands tall and strong, how could he be so easily upset?”

She circled around Wen Yangzhi, a man with the mature air of a fully-grown adult, “Is it because some annoying ghost wants to fight you?”

Wen Yangzhi suddenly stopped, laughing incredulously,

“What do you want?”

Yun Yuwan didn’t stop, but instead continued her pretend musing, “That annoying ghost, with his big buck teeth, ears so long they could be antennas, isn’t even as tall as our little Yangzhi’s chest.”

Lin Zhidong had big buck teeth and long ears.

To her kindergarten-level flirting tactics, Wen Yangzhi looked down, helpless, “So?”

Yun Yuwan saw he was trying to suppress a laugh, with one corner of his mouth slightly raised, looking provocative as he used the expression to fend off the urge to smile.

Laughter began to break through his stern face, like snow melting on a mountaintop.

She babbled in encouragement, as if cheering on a kindergarten friend,

“That stupid ghost is so dumb; our little Yangzhi wouldn’t even blink at him. He would surely beat him till he’s down and out. If he tells little Yangzhi to go back to painting, little Yangzhi will show him what a bruised and multicolored face looks like.”

He turned his face away to laugh, both speechless and appeased.

In the flickering lights of the underground garage, a little figure circled around Wen Yangzhi, back and forth.
