Chapter 171: Chapter 94 When Love Matures_3 Chapter 171: Chapter 94 When Love Matures_3 She had wanted to look at his phone earlier because she wanted to understand him.

“This is happiness, isn’t it something everyday should have?” Wen Yangzhi said, laughing slowly.

She said earnestly, “Actually, I was very miserable six years ago, compared to that time, now is definitely better.”

Wen Yangzhi listened to her say, “Mm.”

Yun Yuwan, full of regret, candidly told him, “Because I missed you so much, if there were other women appearing by your side, I was afraid I couldn’t control myself. Seeing you standing there made me feel like I love you, so I left. I didn’t want to cause you trouble.”

Wen Yangzhi chuckled lightly, catching the most central point, “So you were quite generous.”

“Of course, even though it was painful, I wanted you to be better,” Yun Yuwan replied with pride.

Actually, Wen Yangzhi was quite surprised by how clever her thinking was.

She completely understood the meaning of his actions tonight.

Mature love is not about unconditional self-sacrifice, not having one’s emotions completely dependent on another person, but rather it should be centered on oneself, thinking as an independent individual, while still managing to put the other person first.

Her psychological issues were not insurmountable.

She leaned into his embrace, “The afternoon you held me at Jing Building and we read comics, that was the happiest time for me.”

She looked up, “Because I had you briefly.”

He teased her nonchalantly, “Now you have me.”

Yun Yuwan grinned, “Right.”

She hugged his waist, completely nestling into his warm and broad embrace, humming,

“I really missed you to death these six years. I always hoped I could bump into you by chance, thought of you when watching fireworks, thought of you amidst the revelry of parties, thought of you when others wanted to date me.”

She said with a sense of grievance, “Wen Yangzhi, you have no idea how much I love you.”

He raised his hand, his fingertips brushing over the corner of her eyes, saying calmly,

“Oh, you don’t know how much I’ve wanted to sleep with you.”

Yun Yuwan was speechless yet wanted to laugh, “Here you go again, really should show everyone outside what a rascal the head of Wen Bank is behind closed doors.”

He didn’t care at all, showing no sign of embarrassment, “What, you’re allowed to say, but others aren’t?”

Yun Yuwan really didn’t understand, “What a perv, why do you think like that?”

He commented coolly, “It’s the nature of all men to be bastards.”

To his surprise, Yun Yuwan quickly objected, “Don’t talk like that, Wen Yangzhi is not a bastard.”

He waited patiently, full of expectation, and asked her, “Then what is Wen Yangzhi?”

Instead, she cupped her face and giggled, “Wen Yangzhi is a male model.”

He found it unbelievable, somewhat amused, and raised an eyebrow, “What did you say?”

Yun Yuwan drooled just thinking about that image, “Do you have any idea how long your legs looked from my room’s balcony when you stood with your back to me, how good you looked in suit pants.”

She said dreamily, “Such long, long legs, such a sexy male model.”

Wen Yangzhi seemed to suddenly see through something, “So that’s why you suddenly hugged my leg this morning, begging me not to kiss you?”

“You’ve figured it out,” Yun Yuwan immediately looked down, crestfallen.

She bit his ear too, always doing things that made her seem innocent of any naughty thoughts when one saw her face.

“Yun Yuwan, your head’s not short of dirty thoughts either.”

She whispered with her head down, “Because you’re very handsome.”

Wen Yangzhi’s gaze lowered as he saw her shyly retracting like a turtle but being sincere, as if giving a reward, “Come to my room?”

“Go up now? I haven’t taken a shower yet,” she hesitated.

He lifted her up, “It’s the same wherever you wash.”

Yun Yuwan, afraid of being seen by others, quickly scrambled to get down, “I’ll go up by myself, don’t carry me.”

However, once she went upstairs and entered the bathroom, he followed in and closed the door.

She was taken aback, “Why are you coming in?”

He started unbuttoning his pajama top with one hand without any burden, while the other hand rested on her shoulder, “You were the one who mentioned playing with mirrors.”

She flailed hurriedly, “That’s not what I was thinking, I thought you’d want it that way!”

He was indifferent, “It’s all the same.”

The blue night was cloudless, and the moon on the fifteenth was exceptionally full and radiant.

On the Mid-Autumn night, emptiness was filled to the brim, just like the full moon in the sky.

It almost became a regular performance for Wen Yangzhi, and in the end, Yun Yuwan was cleaned by Wen Yangzhi, dressed, and carried back to the bed.

By the time she lay down, his hand still reached over from behind.

She mumbled, “Stop it, I’m really tired today.”

He had just made her watch in the mirror; it was too intense for her, she couldn’t even dare to watch, she randomly turned on the hot water faucet, attempting to use the mist to conceal the image in the mirror, and he wouldn’t allow her to cover it, wiping away the mist with his hand.

Wen Yangzhi: “…”

He paused for a moment but continued nonchalantly to tuck her in with the quilt.

Yun Yuwan then realized, “…were you trying to tuck me in?”

He withdrew his hand, acting as if nothing happened, “What else did you think it was?”

Yun Yuwan felt somewhat ashamed, wrapping herself with the quilt, “It’s all your fault, making my mind all yellow.”

“How is it in chaos?” he listened patiently for her to explain.

She said indignantly, “The yellow in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.”

Wen Yangzhi was amused into a smile, “So that’s why you cooperated with me tonight?”

“Because now I want to be close to you too,” she whispered, her back to him.

His hand reached under the quilt; one leaned against the headboard, the other lay down, chatting hand in hand.

Yun Yuwan closed her eyes and sighed, “I feel like our relationship is a bit different after today.”

“What’s different?”

“You telling me all this makes me feel closer to you.”

Wen Yangzhi hummed in response, she didn’t react, and when he looked down, she seemed to have fallen asleep, her pillow squishing the flesh on one side of her face together, making her look like a little pig.

He let go of her hand; she didn’t move.

Wen Yangzhi lifted up the hem of her dress, expressionless as he stuffed the corner of her nightgown into her underwear.

She still didn’t move.
