Chapter 1501: Chapter 1014: Apologies Need.........

Duanmu Huai was not exactly a patient man, not to mention that everything in front of him right now was honestly pissing him off.

It’s like you signed up with a travel agency and when you finally get there, you find out they booked you a shabby motel in front of the train station. Anyone would lose their temper, okay!

"Watch me smash up this crappy castle! Let’s all just go camping and have fun together!"

Duanmu Huai raised his War Hammer high, sending a shockwave billowing out in all directions. Even the sky darkened, thick black clouds conjuring out of nowhere, as if a giant, pitch-black pot was slammed down over all of Verda City! In an instant, the world was plunged into darkness, the earth trembled and mountains shook, thunder boomed and lightning split the sky.

Watching Duanmu Huai raise his War Hammer, Mio Naruse and Banriya both looked utterly terrified. They knew just how terrifying Duanmu Huai’s hammer could be! With one swing, it wouldn’t just be the Castle—hell, he could even wipe out the whole city!

As for Mary... she had long given up hope and silently cast a Shield on herself.

After all, Mary was experienced enough to know that, right now, Duanmu Huai was basically a tornado. If you obediently stand in the eye of the tornado, nothing happens to you. If you insist on running out into the storm to get yourself killed... well, all she could do was mourn for you.

Now, the silver-haired maid on the other side finally seemed to realize something was wrong, but even so, she still grit her teeth, clenched her fists, and glared hard at Duanmu Huai. Magic Power burst out from her whole body—yet, even when she unleashed all of her Magic Power, it was like a tiny match-flame struggling against a roaring gale before Duanmu Huai’s raging storm, almost nothing at all.

Yet even so, the silver-haired maid still mustered every bit of her Strength, bent down, and prepared to go all-out against Duanmu Huai!

"That’s enough!"

At that moment, a sudden voice rang out, stopping both sides from doing anything dangerous. Hearing this voice, the silver-haired maid froze for a second, then hurriedly let go and stood down. Seeing his opponent stop resisting, Duanmu Huai frowned a bit and looked down—there, a girl who looked even younger than Banriya had somehow appeared between him and the silver-haired maid, staring at both of them with a stern face.

"With enemies everywhere outside, you two are fighting among yourselves in here? That’s not going to work, you know."

Who’s this?

Staring at the girl, who acted all prim and dignified, Duanmu Huai looked confused. At that moment, Banriya let out a relieved sigh and hurried over.

"Mother!"

".........???"

At Banriya’s shout, everyone looked dumbfounded. Duanmu Huai glanced at Banriya, then at the girl—sure, they did look a lot alike, but this girl looked even younger than Banriya! If you said they were sisters, maybe, but mother and daughter?

Isn’t it only in anime that the mother looks younger than the daughter?

While Duanmu Huai was busy making snarky comments in his head, the girl turned to look at him, lowered her head, and made a polite bow.

"My deepest apologies, Mr. Duanmu, Miss Liao, we didn’t receive you properly—please forgive us..."

As she spoke, the girl turned her head to look at the silver-haired maid.

"Rukia, Ramses asked you to entertain our guests. Is this what you call hospitality?"

"But Lord Ramses said to avoid drawing attention as much as possible..."

"Then are you satisfied with how things turned out?"

Glancing at the room around them, with a huge hole now in the wall, the girl fixed her gaze on Rukia. The maid lowered her head.

"I’m sorry, Mother."

"Good. Strictly speaking, this isn’t really my business, but you also need to know your limits. I trust you’ll handle it properly now."

"Yes, I’ll get rooms ready for them..."

Hearing the silver-haired maid’s answer, the girl turned back around to face Duanmu Huai.

"Truly, I apologize, everyone. Things have been tense around here lately... Ramses has a lot of enemies to deal with..."

"Well, he’s got one more now."

Duanmu Huai snorted coldly. He had no patience for idiots with no sense or social awareness. Duanmu Huai hadn’t just dropped out of the sky—he’d taken part in Liliath’s ranking games and had proven his Strength. If that idiot had even a shred of intelligence, he should’ve known not to mess with him.

Yet he did it anyway, so he had no one to blame but himself if Duanmu Huai started getting nasty.

I gave you the chance, but you wasted it, so don’t think you’re getting another one.

At Duanmu Huai’s icy reply, the girl gave a helpless smile, made a gesture, and the silver-haired maid and all the other maids began to file out.

"I’ll show you the way from here... Oh, right, I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Shila. Thank you for taking care of my daughter, Mr. Duanmu. I’ve always wanted to thank you properly."

"...You really are her mother?"

Afterwards, under Shila’s guidance, Duanmu Huai and the others left the warehouse and headed for the guest rooms.

"Really, I know how strong you are, Mr. Duanmu, but I didn’t think you’d actually start smashing things at a time like this... But now that I think about it, you were brave enough to provoke the Phoenix Family of the Undead Birds, so I guess nothing should surprise me. Sorry—Ramses is just too stubborn."

Watching Shila walking ahead leading the way, Duanmu Huai sized her up curiously. It wasn’t really that she was Banriya’s mother that shocked him, it was her attitude. Both Banriya and her sister called Ramses "Lord," but Shila just used his name, as if she wasn’t beneath Ramses at all.

Now that was interesting.

Compared to the previous silver-haired maid, Shila was obviously the better hostess. She arranged comfortable guest rooms for everyone and told them about the city. She also apologized and explained that Ramses wasn’t in Verda right now—he’d only come back the next day. No wonder Ramses didn’t show up even though Duanmu Huai almost demolished the Castle; he’d assumed the guy was just a Turtle in the Jar.

After dinner, everyone returned to their rooms to rest. Duanmu Huai also went back to his guest room and lay on his bed, dozing off.

However, just as Duanmu Huai was about to fall asleep, he suddenly felt something press down on him. He opened his eyes to discover a petite girl, dressed up in gothic lolita fashion, sitting right on top of him, watching him with a cheeky grin.

"Good evening, Mr. Duanmu."

"Miss Shila? It’s so late—did you need something? And also..."

As he spoke, Duanmu Huai glanced at the door.

"Shouldn’t you at least knock before coming in?"

"Because there’s something I wanted to talk to you about privately, Mr. Duanmu."

Shila grinned at Duanmu Huai.

"Rukia’s performance today was not acceptable, and I was afraid you might be angry, Mr. Duanmu."

"Don’t worry, Miss Shila. I’ve already put her and that idiot Ramses on my list of enemies."

Duanmu Huai made no effort to conceal his dislike.

"Oh? Aren’t you worried that, by doing that, you’ll only make more enemies for yourself?"

"I’ve already got enough enemies, one more won’t make a difference. Besides... once they’re gone, there’s no issue."

Duanmu Huai couldn’t care less. If anything, the fewer companions he had and more enemies that showed up, the better—for the Tribunal’s fire only burns hotter that way!

"I know Ramses was at fault, so... let me apologize on his behalf. Will you accept it?"

"If apologies solved everything, why would we need the cops? And you apologizing for him isn’t right either. You’re you, he’s him. Even if you apologize, that guy will still be the same bastard."

"Well, how about this then?"

Next, Shila’s sudden move took Duanmu Huai by surprise—she reached out, gently untied her ribbon, and her gothic dress slipped off her petite body, revealing a thin negligee underneath, her lovely curves on display. At this, Duanmu Huai quirked an eyebrow.

"Miss Shila, what’s the meaning of this?"

"This is the Nightmare way of apologizing. If I can satisfy you, Mr. Duanmu, do you think you’ll let go of your anger?"

"Oh?"

Fixing his gaze on Shila, Duanmu Huai narrowed his Eyes.

"Are you sure about this, Miss Shila?"

"Of course. So... are you willing to accept my apology, Mr. Duanmu?"

"Heh."

In response to Shila’s question, Duanmu Huai chuckled, then reached out, grabbing Shila’s arm.

"That depends on how sincere your apology is."

After that, Duanmu Huai spoke bluntly.

Turns out, Shila’s apology was indeed full of sincerity.

"Mmph... oh oh oh oh oh!"

With beast-like cries, Shila arched her back, her body trembling violently, eyes rolling up. Tongue lolling from her gaping mouth, she gasped for breath as if suffocating. Under the moonlight, her belly was visibly rounded, as if she’d eaten too much.

The next moment, as if she’d broken down like a ruined Puppet, Shila slumped from Duanmu Huai’s body and collapsed onto the bed.

Thick, milky fluid gushed endlessly from between Shila’s legs, splattering everywhere. At this point, Shila just lay facedown on the bed, eyes vacant, body spasming and trembling uncontrollably.

Whatever composure and poise she’d had before was long gone—now she was like a beast who’d been utterly exhausted, only able to feel the raw, overwhelming pleasure.

But for Duanmu Huai, this was still nowhere near enough.

"Alright, Miss Shila, break time’s over. Let’s go again."

"No... wait... let me rest a little..."

"Nope."

Duanmu Huai refused her flatly, reaching out again to grab Shila by both arms. As she felt his grip, terror flashed across Shila’s face.

"Please, spare me... ah... ahhh...! I’ve already come so many times... ah... oh oh oh oh!"

Though also a Nightmare, Shila was clearly more skilled than Banriya, but even so, she was no match for Duanmu Huai. At this point, she’d completely lost the will to resist, armor in pieces, utterly defeated.

This is bad, this is really bad...!

Shila had assumed that, even if her partner was human and a bit bigger in build, with her Nightmare skills and experience, she would be the one taming Duanmu Huai.

But now... could it be that she’s the one being... tamed?

"Ah... ah...!"

Her mind went blank. The immense stimulation completely wiped out Shila’s thoughts. All she could do was open her mouth, pant, gasp, and cry out helplessly.

But that too reached its limits at last. Finally, with Duanmu Huai’s final thrust, Shila’s already crumbling defenses shattered once more.

"Oh oh oh oh oh!!"

At that moment, the battle finally reached its conclusion.
