She didn’t want Jin Chenye to know certain things, so she instinctively picked up her cup to drink water, attempting to mask her unease.

"Tingye has been waking up several times at night; he might be sleeping insufficiently."

"If you’re too tired, just hire more nannies. You need to take care of yourself." Jin Chenye returned her earlier concern with his own advice.

He was dealing with the backlog at Ye Corporation aggressively so that she could rest assured, giving her ample time to smoothly take over.

He didn’t want her to work too hard.

Qin Youxuan replied perfunctorily, not wanting to delve too deeply into the subject.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a man entering the dining room, and her petite figure shuddered.

"What did you see?"

Jin Chenye noticed her reaction and followed Qin Youxuan’s gaze to see Dan Hanjie entering through the revolving doors of the dining room, a knowing glint flashed in his eyes.

Dan Hanjie came alone, his assistant only followed him to the door but didn’t come in.

He wasn’t here for business, which meant it wasn’t a coincidence.

"He’s here for you," Jin Chenye spoke indifferently.

As he finished, Dan Hanjie’s towering figure strode toward them.

His noble presence captured the attention of everyone the moment he appeared.

With a stature rivaling that of a supermodel and striking features, he was the focal point in any setting, overshadowing everyone else.

Seeing his imposing figure approach, Qin Youxuan grew unconsciously tense, her hands tightly clutching her knees.

"My wife, why didn’t you tell me you’re not coming home for dinner?" Dan Hanjie stepped forward, leaned an arm on Qin Youxuan’s chair, and planted a kiss on the corner of her lips.

His face held a mischievous smile, devoid of any anger.

His enchanting eyes looked at Jin Chenye with a hint of provocation, "I happened to be here to discuss a partnership. Do you mind joining us?"

Without giving Jin Chenye a chance to speak, Dan Hanjie pulled out a chair and sat down.

He gestured for the waiter to come over, took off his coat, and handed it over.

Qin Youxuan, seeing his uninvited and disruptive behavior, frowned displeasedly. She was about to speak up when Jin Chenye beat her to it.

"Of course, I don’t mind. Since it’s on the way, dining together is nice. We’ve ordered two steaks, would you like us to order something for you?"

Just as Jin Chenye was about to call the waiter, the manager, who got the news, hurried over.

Standing in front of Dan Hanjie, he bowed at a forty-five-degree angle, "Mr. Jie, the usual?"

Dan Hanjie hummed arrogantly, and someone immediately came up to pour wine.

"Mr. Jie, you’re well-informed. However, that’s just a concept for now. I’m not in a rush. I’ll deal with Ye Corporation’s work first and take it slow later."
