"Team One, how are you?"

After he finished speaking, he put down the communicator and turned to a technician next to him, asking:

"Have you managed to contact Director Wen yet?"

The person shook their head.

"Still no luck, it’s possible that the phone lines inside the security house were cut off. The place can block remote signals, so we currently can’t establish contact with them."

Hu Hu slapped the table in frustration before turning his gaze back to the monitor screen.

Because the electrical circuits had all failed, visibility was very low in some areas of the research institute, especially in the enclosed research labs, which were in total darkness, with nothing visible at all.

At this moment, the warriors of the first squad were carefully moving forward in the dark space, their helmet lights switched on.

The scenes of the white laboratories around them, combined with the plant roots intertwined on the walls like blood vessels, inevitably triggered associations with many horror movie scenes.
