Among the first group of volunteers to participate in the life conversion experiment was Lu Xing, who was the presiding chairman from the Mushroom Civilization and Eternal Life Civilization visiting Earth Civilization.

This was also the first instance within the Wandering Alliance, where a couple participated together as volunteers in the experiment.

"Hello Demon Star, actually, I’ve wanted to observe you up close for a long time, and now, my wish has finally come true. Thank you for giving me this opportunity." If one desires something, something else must be given in return; that’s the natural law of development. Having lived for this long, we already see through everything. We have learned to maintain a balance between gains and losses, striving to achieve what we truly desire; that is the correct attitude to handle affairs."

"Having been transformed into a celestial being for a hundred years and still maintaining such a healthy, upward, and pragmatic mindset is indeed valuable. However, you and your wife signed up for this experiment together, which means neither you nor she can revert back to your original identities, nor can you love each other like you did as humans, or even engage in intimate relations; have you thought about any remedies for this?" Constant Star Lu Chen asked.

Since the transformation into celestial beings removes gender, turning everyone into neutral celestial lives, Constant Star Lu Chen needed to understand if there had been any psychological changes in the volunteers during this transformation period.

Lu Chen said, "The great philosopher and scientist, Lu Chen, that is myself, has explained in detail what love is, in a book I wrote as a human, and elaborated on the layers of love. Physical love, the sexual pleasure between a man and a woman, is the lowest form of love, and it might even be a pseudo-love. This kind of love has clear characteristics—distinct genders, and a greater physical attachment over the spiritual connection. If this period of love is observed carefully, it is essentially an active hormone wave between fixed genders."

Lu Chen continued, "I explain this hormone wave as a special brainwave frequency that can attract the opposite sex. It’s important to note that hormones and hormone waves are completely different concepts; the former belongs to the biological level, while the latter belongs to the mental consciousness level. Going back to my earlier idea about the body and the soul, it implies that at this stage, biological hormones are dominant over spiritual hormone waves (which might not even occur at all), marking the first phase. The second phase is when spiritual hormone waves surpass biological hormones in proportion. The third phase is completely liberating from biological hormones, retaining only the spiritual hormone waves, which is the highest level of love! This is consistent with the evolution of biological civilizations, which is a process from reliance on, to liberation from, material substances."

It seems that as civilizations develop, even within the Wandering Alliance’s biological civilization, revolutionary changes have occurred. In the past, people’s understanding of love was always unclear—some thought it was an impulse, some thought it was familiar memory... but no matter what the explanation, it eventually tended to lean towards idealism, making it mysterious and enigmatic, except for your case, who uses materialism to explain what love is. According to your theory, biological hormones are hormones secreted by endocrine cells, and they affect both sexes through blood, saliva, or air, a process we are all aware of, but how do spiritual hormone waves affect each other?"

As is well known, the consciousness of biological life is made up of neurons in the thalamus and similar brain that release stimulating signal substances, which are electrically charged special particles we call consciousness sub-particles. The conscience sub-particles of biological life and the intention sub-particles of celestial beings are essentially the same, only differing in electric charge and vibration frequency, which lead to different life forms of biology and celestial beings. For now, let’s skip the detailed differences. Currently, this technology is being applied in life conversion experiments, which is one of the reasons I volunteered."

"Getting off-topic, let’s return to the main subject. Biological consciousness is made up of consciousness sub-particles. When a massive amount of these sub-particles in the brain are active, consciousness waves form, also known as brainwaves. As these are brainwaves, there definitely exists a frequency. When two people make prolonged contact and gradually influence each other, tuning their brainwaves to the same frequency, they develop a spiritual relationship, a phenomenon I call hormone wave synchronization. As for why hormone wave synchronization leads to emotions, it’s because the emitted brainwaves from both parties are very close or identical, pulling each other into a temporary collective brainwave field, which then affects the consciousness in both their brains; that’s where these emotions come from. Of course, not everyone needs the frequency adjustment process. Some people who are inherently close in frequency can quickly form a temporary collective brainwave field upon meeting, which is often referred to as ’love at first sight,’ though such instances are rare. However, once hormone wave synchronization occurs, their thoughts (consciousness sub-particles) can easily connect, making some couples able to know what the other is thinking without speaking. "Additionally, during the actual process of hormone wave synchronization, through observing thousands of couples, I discovered that in the synchronized state, the consciousness sub-particles of both parties occasionally exchange. This free consciousness swapped through the collective field enters the other’s brain and constantly influences their brainwave frequency.
