The Tiger King thought momentarily before giving his answer: "Since he has lost fairly without any outer interference, then his life belongs to the winner. That's what a warrior's honor dictates."

Hearing this, a victorious smile appeared on Ashen's face as he asked:

The Tiger King's eyes widened in surprise for a moment before coming to their usual size.

He glanced at Ashen and nodded: "Yes, your words make sense. My life does belong to you and you are free to take it if you want."

"Then what if I want your submission and loyalty, instead of your life?" Ashen questioned.

The Tiger King answered without any hesitation:

"You cannot. You've won in a duel and the prize for that can only be my life. For my submission, you'll have to win my heart. It should be my will to follow you, not a prize that I will give you for winning the duel."

Ashen understood the profound meaning behind his words clearly and thus came to the main point.

"Tiger King, since I have won and your life belongs to me, then that means I can decide when you'll die, right?"

"Indeed!" The Tiger King nodded.

"Then I plan to hold your life. You cannot die without my permission. Do you agree with this?"

"Yes."

"Then from this point on, I want you to follow me on my journey. I'll decide within these 2 years whether to kill you or not."

"Huh?" The Tiger King was confused as he asked: "Why do I need to follow you? You can simply come here whenever you want to kill me."

Ashen shook his head, denying his proposal:

Ashen took his offer, sitting on his shoulder.

The Tiger manipulated one of the Steel Claws and used them as a flying tool by standing on them and flying away.

He moved faster than an average King realm cultivator as he informed Ashen: "It'll take some time to reach there since it is quite far away."

The Tiger Kings had their own designated area in different parts of the forest, far away from their fellow tiger kings.

Each Tiger King had a different environment that they found suitable for them.

Like the Infernal Flame Tiger King lived in an area filled with volcanoes that made it difficult for other creatures to survive in that area.

While they were traveling, Ashen decided to share his name to try and create a bond with the tiger king.

It was crucial for him to take the tiger king on his good side.

"My name is Huan Tian and I've recently advanced to the King realm."

The Tiger King heard that and responded in kind:

"Huan Tian, Hmm, My name is Gang Zhao and I'm 319 years old right now."

"Woah, that's older than I expected." Ashen couldn't help but comment.

"Oh, you find that old? You might not know, but I'm the third youngest among all the Tiger Kings." Gang Zhao spoke with a proud expression. "What's your age?"

"I'm 186 years old," Ashen answered with the average age that one advanced to a King realm expert. Huan Tian was originally only 39 years old.

"186 years old, that's still younger than I thought. You appear much more mature and wise than your age." Gang Zhao complimented with a smile.

By how Ashen managed to convince him to follow him on his journey, Gang Zhao came to the conclusion that Ashen was much more intelligent than he appeared to be.

As they engaged in further conversation, the time passed by and they were at their destination.

This place was close to a volcano and further deep into the forest. Even with Gang Zhao's crazy speed, it took them half an hour to reach here.

And as if sensing them coming, the Infernal Flame Tiger King was already waiting for them outside.

As Gang Zhao began to descend, the Infernal Flame Tiger King questioned in a cold and heavy voice:

"Gang Zhao, Why have you come into my turf? Do you wish to die young by my hands?"

Infernal Flame Tiger King appeared like a fiery-orange tiger engulfed in roaring flames, capable of breathing fire that scorches enemies and shapes the landscape. His mane glowed like molten lava, and his claws left flaming trails.

His size was massive with a height of 21m, however, what made this height even more ridiculous was that he was a four-legged beast unlike Gang Zhao and hence, even though his height was smaller than Gang Zhao's, still it appeared massive compared to Ashen.

"Brother Diyu Moyun, you are only ahead of me in age. Don't talk like you can kill me so easily just because I entered your turf." Gang Zhao replied, showing his displeased feelings from the Infernal Flame Tiger King's threat.

In response, the Infernal Flame Tiger King smirked and replied: "Gang Zhao, how many times would I have to remind you of my superior strength? I'm the king of the Infernal Flame Tiger species and our species is the mightiest when it comes to strength. We can breathe scorching fire along with our mighty claws."

He then snickered at Gang Zhao, continuing in a mocking tone:

"Meanwhile, your steel claw tiger species only have sturdy and sharp claws, and nothing else. It's clear that I'm superior."

Gang Zhao, not agreeing with him, instantly retorted: "Don't talk like your fire can defeat our claws. My species claws are the mightiest and can easily tear your species to pieces."

"Oh, We'll have to see about that, won't we?" The Infernal Flame Tiger King replied, taking his fighting stance.

Gang Zhao also got ready to fight. He wasn't one to back down when it came to his species' honor and pride.

At this moment, Ashen's calm voice resounded in both of their ears:

"Shut up, you cats!"
