Ren was currently in the living room with Liam.

He met Liam when he was in the hotel lobby. Liam was curious about what he and Lexie were doing on their date, so he purposely waited for him.

"Ren, Ren, tell me. What did you do with that beautiful, mature lady earlier? Did something exciting happen? And did you two do it after going on a date?" Liam asked curiously.

Ren returned to the hotel at 07:30 pm.

That meant he spent time with Lexie for a whole day.

Luna said they belonged to each other, so he was curious about what they did after he left because they met Luna and Lexie in the morning.

"As usual, you always ask sensitive questions without thinking twice." Ren refused to answer Liam’s questions.

Sure, they were friends, but he would not tell him everything, especially sensitive things.

"Hey, we are brothers. You should share it with me. Shouldn’t there be no secrets between brothers?" Liam was still trying to get answers to his questions because he was really curious about it.

"Alright, alright, stop talking about this." Ren still refused to answer Liam’s questions. "I’m going to sell unused armor, weapons, and potions tomorrow. Do you want to go with me?"

Instead of answering his question, Liam asked, "Do you know a reliable buyer in this city?"

"Yes." Ren responded instantly, "That person won’t deceive us, so you can rest assured."

"Who is that person?" Liam asked curiously.

"You know that person because you have met her before." Ren did not tell him who she was.

"But I only met Luna and lady Lex-" Liam stopped his words halfway when he realized it. "You mean that person is lady Lexie?"

"That’s right." Ren told Liam that Lexie had an auction house so he could sell their unused weapons, armor, and potions to her.

"Damn Ren! You caught a big fish!" Liam said after finding out who Lexie was. "No! Not a big fist, but a treasure!"

Lexie was powerful, rich, and beautiful.

She was like a woman that all men dreamed of because she had everything: a charming face and abundant wealth.

Ren did not deny it because Lexie was indeed an amazing lady. "So, how is it? Do you want to come with me tomorrow?"

"Sure. I have many unused weapons, armor, and potions too. I will sell them tomorrow." Even though Liam had a lot of money, he would still sell unused items because it just took up the empty space in his space ring.

After that, Ren brought up the topic of being a citizen of Nightshire City.

Like Ren, Liam did not agree immediately.

It was related to his future, so he needed to think about it carefully.

Shortly after that, Liam returned to his room and slept.

The moon set and the sun rose.

After having breakfast, Ren took Liam to the Moon Action House.

After selling their unused items, Lexie took them to a private room. She wanted Ren to become a citizen of Nightshire City, so she brought up that topic again.

Lexie also suggested that Liam become a citizen of Nightshire City. If he agreed, she believed Ren would agree, too.

The corners of their lips twitched when Lexie kept telling them the benefits of being a citizen of Nightshire City.

At that moment, she did not look like the head of a big family but rather a tour guide.

"Lady Lexie, are you suggesting that we become citizens of Nightshire City because of Ren?" Liam threw this question at her because they had a special relationship.

Lexie glanced at Ren before finally answering, "No. You are wrong. You two have lost your hometown, so I want to help you get a new hometown. Or do you want to be a wanderer forever?"

"Well, I don’t want to be a wanderer forever, but this matter is really important, so I can’t decide immediately." After saying that, Liam turned his head toward Ren. "What about you, Ren?"

"Me too." Ren responded.

However, Lexie did not give up and kept persuading them to become citizens of Nightshire City.

After several minutes, Ren and Liam finally gave in.

"We want to meet the city mistress first." Ren spoke and paused for a second before he continued, "If she is as you say, we are willing to become citizens of Nightshire City."

"Great!" Lexie responded as she smiled, "I will meet the city mistress after this. I will use my quota to nominate you two as residents of Nightshire city."

Ren and Liam exchanged a glance with each other.

After Ren and Liam left, Lexie went to the army headquarters to meet Scarlett. She told Scarlett about Liam and Ren.

However, she didn’t tell Scarlett their full names, so Scarlett had no idea who they were because there were many people with the same name in this world.

"I will take them to my Moon Restaurant tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. We will wait for you there." Lexie could talk with Scarlett casually because they had a close relationship.

When Scarlett decided to become the city mistress, Lexie supported her and helped her solve many problems.

Scarlett also helped Lexie many times.

It could be said they were like best friends because they wouldn’t think twice to lend a helping hand if one of them was in trouble.

"Alright." Scarlett responded.

After Lexie left her office, Scarlett went back to work.

She still had a lot of work, so she didn’t waste her time on unimportant things.

Time went by quickly and without realizing it, it was already 05:00 pm.

At this moment, Scarlett was on her way home.

As she was walking, she saw a couple walking hand in hand with happy faces.

Soft laughter and chuckles escaped from their mouths as they chatted happily.

Scarlett stopped her footsteps when she saw them because she suddenly remembered Ren again.

"Scarlett, you are too early. They haven’t arrived yet." Lexie was startled when Scarlett arrived earlier than the appointed time.

Luckily, she went to her restaurant after breakfast.

Otherwise, Scarlett would be alone in the private room.

"It’s fine." Scarlett said she came earlier because she wanted to chat with Lexie. "Where is Luna? Is she not here?"

"She is with the babysitters." It was an important meeting, so Lexie did not bring her niece with her.

"I see." Scarlett uttered.

As they were chatting in the private room, Ren and Liam were on their way to the Moon Restaurant.

They walked leisurely because it was still 07:30 am.

"I suddenly can’t wait to meet the city mistress." Liam uttered.

"Why? Are you going to seduce her later?" Ren inquired.

"I’m not a playboy like you! I’m only curious about her because I’ve never met a female Ruler before." Liam told him the reason why he could not wait to meet the city mistress.

"Playboy? Who is playboy? Don’t spread lies." Ren uttered.

"You have two girlfriends." Liam said, "If you are not a playboy, then what are you?"

"Two? Tell me! Who are they?" Ren inquired.

"Your first lover is lady Lexie, and your second girlfriend is..." Liam forgot Scarlett’s name. "...I forgot her name. It’s the lady from the abode."

"The lady from abode?" Ren suddenly remembered Scarlett.

’What is she doing right now?’

He looked at the blue sky as he remembered Scarlett.

Shortly after that, Ren and Liam arrived at the Moon Restaurant.

One of the waiters immediately greeted them after they entered the restaurant. Lexie was accompanying Scarlett, so she ordered him to wait for them.

"Madam Lexie and city mistress are waiting for you. I will guide you to the private room." The waiter said politely.

Ren and Liam exchanged a glance with each other.

’What?! They are already waiting for us?’

It was still 07:40 am, so they were shocked by the waiter’s words.

"Thank you." Ren said as he smiled.

After arriving at the private room, the waiter knocked on the door. "Madam Lexie, Mr. Ren and Mr. Liam have arrived."

"Tell them to come in." Lexie’s voice rang out from the opposite side of the door.

The waiter turned around and spoke, "Please enter the room."

"Thank you." Ren and Liam said in unison.

After the waiter left, Liam pushed the door open.
