Chapter 92: Chapter 66: Talent

"What’s the matter?" Shu Wan genuinely thought dropping out to retake the exams wasn’t a problem.

People should know themselves well, and she truly was not interested in physics.

"People already called you a hopeless illiterate, now you’re awesome, dropping out to go back to high school, well now, you’re definitely crowned a fool."

"So what if I’m a fool?" Shu Wan didn’t care, "The truth will shut them up."

"My dear sister, aren’t you a bit too confident? What truth do you have? Is it the confidence you got from failing every subject?" Wang Tian really didn’t want to shut her down, but he felt Shu Wan really lacked self-awareness.

"Do you have anything else to say?" Wang Tian was not a bad person, but he was too talkative, and Shu Wan couldn’t listen anymore.

"I’ll pick you up the day after tomorrow to go to the film set, we’re almost done shooting."

"Okay."

Shu Wan hung up the phone just as Fu Yang walked in from outside.

He glanced at Shu Wan, "I gave all the food to the bodyguard, I didn’t eat, I knew it would taste bad just by the smell."

Shu Wan was noncommittal, she tapped a book beside her, "Continue reading to me."

"Shu Wan, you’re really taking an inch and going a mile, how can you not even know your middle school textbooks."

"Can you?" Shu Wan quietly looked towards Fu Yang and retorted.

Fu Yang was momentarily stunned by her remark, "Nonsense, of course I know."

"Then I can ask you about anything I don’t know in the future." Shu Wan smiled very friendly at Fu Yang.

That smile was excessively sincere, so much so that Fu Yang couldn’t tell if Shu Wan was being serious or mocking him.

Before Fu Yang could speak, Shu Wan mentioned, "What does ’term’ mean in what you read to me yesterday? I forgot."

"An agreement," Fu Yang replied instinctively.

"So that’s what it is." Shu Wan’s eyes lit up, smiling at Fu Yang, "So what your classmates said was true."

Fu Yang frowned slightly, "What did they say?"

"They said you don’t read much, but you still get good grades." Shu Wan spoke while flipping through a book, "I thought they were exaggerating."

"What exaggeration," Fu Yang retorted instinctively, lifting his hand to touch his earring, "Anyway, it’s much better than you, the one who slipped through the nine years compulsory education."

"I’ll have to rely on you more then." Shu Wan smiled at Fu Yang.

How precise was Shu Wan in controlling her expressions? According to her need, she could adjust down to the slightest bit.

At this moment, her eyes sparkled as though she was genuinely happy about an unexpected joy, yet also bearing a bit of disbelief.

That bit of disbelief completely provoked the competitive spirit within the young man.

Fu Yang snorted lightly, "Teaching a fool like you is still a breeze."

Although the doctor had told Shu Wan she needed four to five days of rest, she had applied her own special antiseptic medicine, and her hand healed very quickly.

On the third morning, Shu Wan could remove her bandages and move normally.

Fu Yang sat nearby, both legs on the table, watching lazily as Shu Wan packed her things, "You healed quite fast."

"What else?" Shu Wan turned her head, "How long does it normally take to heal?"

"It usually takes about a week." Fu Yang propped his chin with his hand, "The hospital really knows their stuff this time."

In Fu Yang’s view, it was because of the Fu family’s influence that the hospital used special effective medicine on Shu Wan which made her heal so quickly.

But Shu Wan had a different idea.

She thought that with the progress of time, advancements in science and technology, cultural standards would also improve and included medical science in this as well.

But it seemed not entirely the case.

At least her self-made antiseptic medicine could help the wound heal quickly, but modern medicine didn’t seem to be as fast.

If there was a chance, maybe she could learn about modern medicine.

Great, she found another direction of interest.

After packing her things, Shu Wan left the hospital with Fu Yang.

As they sat in the car, Fu Yang looked out the window, "Going home? The sun must be rising from the west today, aren’t you escorting me to school?"

"I asked for leave for you."

Oh my, that truly shocked Fu Yang, "A leave? Are you that kind-hearted? For how long?"

"You don’t need to go for the rest of the term." Shu Wan dropped an even bigger bomb.

Fu Yang was utterly confused this time.

He was originally lounging on the sofa, but now he sat up straight, looking at Shu Wan suspiciously, "What are you trying to pull?"

"I am planning to take the exam, you just follow me and tutor me."

"..." Fu Yang frowned, instinctively wanting to refuse.
