Chapter 371: Chapter 205 External Aid

After Shu Wan had quietly fallen asleep, Fu Siyu, carrying the remaining bowl of sweet soup, knocked on Fu Yang’s door.

After knocking three times, no one answered, but the sound of a video game could faintly be heard.

The doors in the Estate were set to automatic sensing, and Fu Siyu had the highest authority. He reached out his hand, pressed the sensor area at the door, and the door opened.

As Fu Siyu had expected, Fu Yang was playing video games.

He wasn’t wearing headphones, clearly having heard the knocking but choosing to ignore it.

Fu Siyu walked into the room, closed the door behind him, and then placed the sweet soup on the table.

Fu Yang glanced at it, his expression growing colder, "Don’t bother me."

He was already irritated because his best teammate hadn’t come online today, and he’d lost three games in a row.

Fu Yang was like a volcano ready to erupt, and Fu Siyu was the giant spark.

Fu Siyu didn’t speak. He sat to the side, waiting for Fu Yang to finish the game before he got up and turned off the computer’s power.

Fu Yang’s brow furrowed, and he suddenly stood up, but then he heard Fu Siyu shout, "Yang."

"..." Fu Yang looked at Fu Siyu with a bizarre expression, "Are you crazy? Can you not be so disgusting?"

"I just suddenly remembered how I used to call you that when you were little," Fu Siyu said, noticing Fu Yang’s slightly reddened ears and a smile appeared in his eyes, "Actually, you’re still a child now."

Fu Yang’s eyes widened, staring at Fu Siyu in disbelief, "Are you possessed by something? Why are you acting so weird?"

"No."

Fu Siyu became even more certain of his speculation. He pointed to the sweet soup on the table, "You used to love this when you were little, do you remember?"

"I don’t remember."

Fu Yang’s look was cold and dismissive.

"You always clung to me asking me to make this for you when you were small, especially after you fell ill. You wouldn’t eat anything else, just liked this."

"Oh, is that so? I don’t remember," Fu Yang’s expression was still very cold.

"You caught a chill from filming yesterday too. I made a bowl for each of you. Eat this to prevent anything."

Upon hearing this, Fu Yang’s expression softened briefly, then reverted, "I’m not eating."

"Let’s just leave it here," Fu Siyu’s voice was gentle, "You should also take your temperature in a while."

"Ugh, mind your own business."

In Fu Yang’s view, Fu Siyu was simply overwhelmed by guilt suddenly, so he came to placate him like one would a little pet.

Doing nothing might have been slightly better, these guilt-driven conciliatory gestures were truly more annoying.

"So you’re resistant to everything I do now, aren’t you?"

"Yeah, good that you know."

Fu Yang was already annoyed, and Fu Siyu’s reparative actions here only increased his rebelliousness. He looked directly at Fu Siyu, "Don’t do things that just make yourself feel better, it’s quite pointless."

Even though Fu Yang’s words were harsh, Fu Siyu didn’t get angry. His gaze passed over Fu Yang and landed on a cabinet in the distance, where many unopened boxes were stored.

"When you have time, unpack those boxes."

Leaving those words behind, Fu Siyu then walked towards the door.

Fu Yang looked at the cabinet with a puzzled face; it held nearly a dozen boxes, all sent by Fu Siyu from overseas.

Out of pique, Fu Yang hadn’t opened any of them.

Even though Fu Siyu had specifically requested it now, Fu Yang still didn’t want to open them.

He settled back into his chair and flipped through his friend list, his best teammate still hadn’t come online.

Fu Yang aimlessly dragged his mouse across the computer screen, a long time passing without him starting a game.

"Open, then open, who’s afraid?"

Fu Yang tossed aside his mouse, walked to the cabinet, and yanked down that stack of boxes.

Fu Siyu often sent things from overseas, but each year during the New Year, he’d send one more small box. The Housekeeper had told Fu Yang long ago that this box was specially prepared by Fu Siyu.

Precisely because of what the Housekeeper said, while Fu Yang had unpacked other things, he had never opened these boxes over the years.

Though the maids regularly cleaned and tidied up, the passage of so much time had left the boxes somewhat tattered.

Fu Yang pulled, and the ancient boxes immediately fell down.

Contrary to Fu Yang’s expectations, the contents were not jewelry but a thick letter.
