Chapter 791: Chapter 397 - Have You Offended Him?_1

City of Eternal Night, entrance to the second area.

Among the dim, dilapidated cityscape, hundreds of giant wolves quietly appear from the distant horizon, charging towards the area’s exit like a massive animal migration, causing the ground nearby to tremble slightly.

"We’re nearly at Area Two, everyone stay alert!"

The Tyrant, also in the form of a giant wolf, speaks from the front of the pack.

Without a map of Area Two, their best chance of getting through quickly is to follow the wolf pack.

Area Two is their only domain of advantage, and as long as they maintain this advantage, if they can shake off those tailing them in this area, there is great chance they can turn the tide!

Therefore, their most urgent task is; figuring out how to avoid being tracked down!

Upon hearing this, fellow werewolves are subconsciously alert, their keen sense of hearing and smell being their most trusted surveillance tools. They are generally superior to sight, especially in the dark.

"Snap!"

Before the werewolves can pinpoint their targets, the trap beneath one of them springs shut. A large, steel animal trap digs into the hind leg of a werewolf, blood spewing out.

"Snap! Snap! Snap..."

Before the wounded werewolf can even cry out in pain, multiple sounds of traps springing shut echo around. Almost every werewolf’s leg has at least one trap clamped onto it.

This entire exit area was a well-prepared trap zone!

An uproar of howls echoes through the area almost immediately. These traps aren’t fatal, but the pain and restriction they cause is significant.

"It’s an ambush, watch out!"

A werewolf senses something and instinctively yells out a warning.

Just as the words leave its mouth, two snowballs appear from both directions, rapidly increasing in speed and size. By the time they reached their vicinity, the snowballs have grown to a height of six or seven meters.

"Dodge!"

The Tyrant hurriedly give out the command. The wolves all strain to evade, but the traps hinder their movements. Most of the werewolves temporarily lose their mobility, making it near impossible to escape the encroaching snowballs.

In the next instant, the two snowballs explode, forming two large circles on the ground. Inside these circles, it’s as if a winter storm has swept through. Hundreds of werewolves caught within the circles have been turned into ice sculptures. At the center of each circle, is a giant snowman, its hands raised, slapping the nearby werewolves.

Simultaneously, countless red lights emerge above the werewolves’ heads, which upon closer inspection, are revealed to be fireballs.

"Boom!"

The downpour of fireballs explodes upon hitting the ground, increasing the volume of horrific screams.

The Rain of Fire, although not as powerful as the Falling Stars Forbidden Curse, is a high-level magic spell. Transformed into Black Magic, its damaging capability is even more potent. Each fireball is capable of dealing up to a thousand points of explosive damage.

Those werewolves not frozen are spared somewhat by having the chance to evade, but the frozen ones endure the torment of both ice and fire.

Of course, the escaping werewolves don’t fare much better.

Just as the werewolves have managed to evade the rain of fire, a sudden gravitational force emanates from all directions, drawing the nearby werewolves into one location, stacking them up layer upon layer.

Pulling off this simultaneous attack, a black dot, as dark as ink forms at the densest part of the werewolves. Instantly, it begins to exert a strong gravitational force, drawing all werewolves within a radius of twenty meters towards the center.

The werewolves have witnessed the power of a Black Hole before; they dare not slack off. All the werewolves engulfed in the Black Hole attempt to run out of it but most are too slow to escape. Despite utmost exertion, they can only slow down their pace towards the center, they are still being drawn into the Black Hole.

Within the werewolves, there is only one standing out, Boiling Blood Wolf, with its whole body as red as blood. It runs so fast that its four legs seem to create multiple images. It managed to break out the Black Hole’s escape speed, and slowly, it managed to retreat towards the edge of Black Hole!

The youth with Boiling Blood Wolf skin whose strength amplifies with the number of injured people around him, and aided by the full moon’s power, finally breaks through the speed limit of the Black Hole and escapes.

As the youth reaches flat ground, he can’t help but want to cheer.

However, before he can make a sound, he looks up to see a large cannon aimed right at his forehead. At the back of the cannon is a strange-looking Silver Armor.

"Boom!"

The very next second, the cannon fires.

"No!"

Irritated and unwilling, the youth yells, as he is launched straight back into the Black Hole. Landing right at the center, he joins other werewolves to be repeatedly crushed by the Black Hole...

"Don’t panic, there aren’t many of them! Hold steady, and counterattack!" The Tyrant hurriedly orders.

The scene is in chaos. In the blink of an eye, hundreds of werewolves are killed, but fortunately, they have the chance to revive.

After the werewolves are regenerated, the traps that restrained them are mostly released and they finally have some time to reassess the situation.

Glancing around, they find that there are only three enemies. Apart from the Ghost Captain already among their ranks, off to the side, about one hundred meters away, two are busy chanting spells.
