Chapter 262: Chapter 211: The Space Fissure Under the Deep Sea (6000 Words) _2

So what if he’s resurrected? If I could kill him in eight seconds earlier, doing another round wouldn’t be much of a trouble now.

Soon, amidst the crowding spectators, Taurus purged himself of all injuries and managed to leap back into action.

But, this time the recoiling Taurus possessed some irregular characteristics.

Upon his resurrection, his body had instantly shone with a layer of gold. His entire shape also instantly increased by a size, making him appear like a golden Buddha.

The rest were oblivious to the change in Taurus at this moment, though they all continued to fling their prepared spells from their magical arsenal his way.

However, all the spells crashed against that layer of gold on Taurus, creating no particular disturbance as the magic disappeared like mud in the sea.

Everyone was dumbfounded. What on earth was going on?

"He’s immune to magic! Switch to physical attacks!"

At this point, Mu You stepped back, drew his bow, and began firing.

His knowledge of Taurus’s magic immunity had resulted from a previous reversal in time. Taurus was likely using some sort of black magic, which had practically no casting process and, thus, couldn’t be interrupted.

However, this secret technique hadn’t been employed by Taurus when he was hooked by the Chain Claws... implying that the black magic must have significant restrictions, only capable of being deployed under specific situational conditions.

Mu You conjectured that despite how potent this spell was, even if it was black magic, its duration couldn’t be very long. They had to be patient, make sure not to let him escape their blockade.

Upon hearing his words, everyone swiftly switched their weaponry and commenced close-quarters combat.

Those who had no hand-to-hand combat abilities moved forward, forming a human wall to obstruct Taurus’s path.

At this point, Taurus had also begun his attempt to escape. Upon encountering obstructions, he remained calm and cast another spell, granting himself a certain kind of status. He then promptly lifted his gigantic fists and smashed it onto the ground.

This punch seemed imbued with an unimaginable prowess. Its impact shook earth and sky with countless cracks spreading out at high speed from the epicenter, reaching up to almost a hundred meters away.

Along with the extension of the cracks, a violently trembling energy shivered through the surfaces, inducing a two-second dizziness state in all living beings it encountered along the way.

Given the vast reach of this effect, everyone, including Mu You who were surrounding Taurus, had no room to dodge. In an instant, people were thrown off their feet and everyone was momentarily stunned on the spot.

Having successfully landed his blow, Taurus didn’t have any time to retaliate. Instead, with titan-like sturdy palms, he flung away the people blocking his path and started bolting outward.

However, just as he was about to escape the group’s encirclement, a fearsome figure suddenly leapt out, blocking his path.

Not everyone had fallen into Taurus’s widespread dizzying trap, one summoned beast had successfully dodged it, and that was the Troll War God!

The Troll War God, possessing the ability of superior physical strength, could ignore the effects of all restrictive magic.

Just as Taurus’s fists struck the ground, Mu You activated ’Berserk’ mode for the Troll War God. Though this mode increased damage taken and rapidly reduced HP, it managed to dodge the subsequent dizziness state. Immediately thereafter, it blocked Taurus’s path and launched an attack without hesitations.

Seeing yet another figure blocking his way, Taurus didn’t give it much thought; his primary concern was fleeing and he had no time to engage in direct combat. Without a second thought, he flung his palm towards the War God.

The Troll War God, however, didn’t budge an inch, directly taking the hit while responding with the fastest counterattack possible.

Mu You didn’t dare to openly use the Berserk Axe in front of the crowd. For now, the Troll War God was using an ’Excellent Grade’ sized knife, a new weapon he had just crafted yesterday. Of course, compared to the gear of the legends, the properties fell short, but it was sufficient when it came to simply hacking down creatures.

The heated hand-to-hand encounter with Taurus left him with a sinking heart. When, he wondered, did his HP start decreasing at such a rapid pace?

What on earth was that green-skinned creature? How was its damage increasing with each strike?

Distracted by these thoughts, the dizziness effect on the crowd had already worn off, once again they started closing in on Taurus.

Seeing himself about to be surrounded, Taurus couldn’t help but grow anxious. While trying to evade the crowd’s attack, he moved outwards with all his might, intending to break free from the throng and make a break for it.

However, the onlookers were hardly going to provide him this chance; they unfolded their fullest potential, attacked with all the means at their disposal, trying to slow down Taurus’s advance as much as possible.

Taurus frowned, while under the effects of magic immunity coupled with the layer of level suppression, he didn’t care much for the attacks from the crowd. However, the relentless trailing and chopping by the troll from behind was causing him grave concern due to its high damage.

While the rest’s attacks were gradually decreasing, it was only the troll who was continuously dealing hefty damage. For every strike, Taurus’s HP was visibly depleting.

If things continued this way, he would surely be killed by the troll before managing to escape.

Upon realization of this, especially considering the fact that the troll was drenched in blood, evidently running low on life, Taurus promptly turned around and began to focus his attacks on the troll, determined to eliminate this irksome summoned beast swiftly. Otherwise, he seemed to stand no chance of escape.

One punch, two punch, three punches...

Upon the third punch, he directly pierced through the troll’s chest.

Taurus could even sense the sensation of shattering the opponent’s heart with his punch, this overjoyed him; if the heart had exploded, it should definitely be dead now, shouldn’t it?

However, just as he was about to follow-up with one more punch, a protective barrier quietly enveloped the Troll, while simultaneously bouncing off Taurus’s fist.
