Chapter 1486: Chapter 645: Divine Race Heroic Spirits, Battling for the Living

In the desolate battlefield separated by the barrier.

The God of Decapitation glanced at the fierce battle involving more than ten people next door, then turned his gaze to the solitary figure of Mu You across from him. He chuckled with interest, "Interesting. Are you planning to face me alone?"

Mu You didn’t respond. He slowly raised the Pen of Order, cautiously observing the God of Decapitation’s movements while keeping an eye on the two other battlefields.

Not only did he need to hold off the God of Decapitation, but he was also the commander of the entire battle, responsible for managing the larger conflict. He was incredibly busy.

The God of Decapitation glanced at the brush in Mu You’s hand and recognized it. "The Pen of Order. So, it seems you truly are the proxy of the God of Order... However, the techniques it stores can only be used once within a short period, correct?"

Mu You wasn’t surprised. The God of Decapitation had once been one of the God of Order’s trusted subordinates and was naturally familiar with many of the God of Order’s methods.

"So, how will you defend against my next strike?"

As soon as the God of Decapitation spoke, his blade had already swung down.

A flash of Moonlight Sword Energy formed at close range, rushing towards Mu You with incredible speed, reaching him in the blink of an eye.

Mu You immediately lifted the pen and inscribed an instant rule, directly erasing the strike from existence.

Watching the strike vanish into thin air as though sucked into another dimension just before hitting its target, the God of Decapitation narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Ah, I see. You can manipulate the order rules of this city. No wonder you chose to fight here..."

"But such a power must come at a high cost, no? How many times can you use it?" The God of Decapitation’s lips curled into a confident smile.

Mu You didn’t reply. However, he understood why the God of Decapitation was so self-assured: the method he had just used to dissolve the attack might have appeared calm and effortless, but it consumed an immense amount of energy.

That single attack alone had instantly increased his Deviation Value by nearly one percent.

If the fight continued at this rate, his current Deviation Value would only suffice to block a few dozen strikes.

What made it worse was that his Deviation Value wasn’t solely reserved for contending with the God of Decapitation; he also had to account for the other two battlefields.

While his current standoff with the God of Decapitation appeared the most challenging, it was, in fact, not immediately life-threatening. Meanwhile, the adjoining battle against the Seam God involved over ten divine power players assisting each other, which didn’t pose an imminent problem either.

It was the players on the outskirts who were in actual jeopardy.

These players were without divine powers and had an average Star Level of only Four Stars. Even with the combat prowess granted by Divine Skin and Dragon Crystals, their average strength still didn’t exceed Five Stars.

On the other hand, they were facing ten thousand genuine Nine-Star Titans!

A Five-Star facing a Nine-Star was not a disparity that could be bridged by sheer willpower.

Sure enough, as soon as the outer battle commenced, the overall Star Level disparity among the players immediately became apparent.

Within less than a minute of the battle starting, multiple crises erupted, and the entire frontline fell into a state of chaos and rout.

If this continued, the three battlefields would soon merge into two. They would then have to face two deities simultaneously while also dealing with the interference of ten thousand titans. Their chances of victory would dwindle into insignificance.

Seeing that many players on the outskirts had already been critically wounded and were on the brink of death, Mu You knew he could no longer afford to sit idly by.

These were humanity’s elite players. If they sacrificed this core strength for the sake of victory, it would be a pyrrhic triumph and a colossal loss.

Lost in thought, Mu You noticed that the God of Decapitation had raised his blade again, preparing for another strike.

Mu You hurriedly activated the Endless-Spinning Top, entering the World End.

Within the World End, all living creatures around him froze in place, including the God of Decapitation.

Rather than taking advantage of the opportunity to attack the God of Decapitation, Mu You used the ten-second hiatus to retreat rapidly, heading to the blood-soaked center of the ancient battlefield.

Here lay the burial ground of the Heroes of the Divine Race, the Bloodlands. He intended to use the Blood Rhythm for Conjuring, summoning the heroic spirits of the Divine Race to aid in the fight. This was one of the trump cards he had prepared beforehand.

"I am the proxy of Order and Blood..."

"Valiant spirits of the Divine Race, if you can hear the clamor of battle upon this land and sense the blood of your descendants..."

"Then I implore you to fulfill the oaths of your past lives. Rise again to fight for the living..."

"If you accept this call, respond now and manifest in this world..."

...

When the World End collapsed, the God of Decapitation realized that Mu You had suddenly vanished. He rushed over from a distance and was greeted by the sight of the Conjuring ritual.

Blood dripped from Mu You’s hand, each drop—a symbol of the Blood Clan—falling to the ground and staining it with a sinister red glow.

The ripples of the Blood Rhythm reverberated across the battlefield.

In the next moment, the ground trembled violently.

Numerous corpses of the Divine Race, still in skeletal form, began to clatter and emerge from the earth.

Their skeletal surfaces were covered with a ghostly blue soul-like material akin to Divine Skin, eventually materializing into fully armored spectral warriors of the Divine Race.

Once these spectral warriors appeared, they looked down in confusion at their intangible hands and decayed bodies, then turned their gazes to the battlefield filled with fighting titans and mortals. As though gradually recovering their memory, they tilted back their heads and unleashed piercing cries.

From a distance, the God of Decapitation frowned at the sight of so many newly emerged undead titans, sensing trouble.

But for Mu You, it was a moment of exhilaration.

One thousand three hundred and nine!

Ava instantly calculated the precise number of undead he had conjured.

Even Mu You didn’t anticipate that his hastily practiced Conjuring spell would summon over 1,300 heroic spirits of the Divine Race in one go!
