Chapter 1453 - 632: The Ambition of the Divine Beast

Chapter 1453: Chapter 632: The Ambition of the Divine Beast

"Huh?" Mu You exclaimed in surprise.

He hadn’t expected there to be a Divine Bone mixed in with this pile of ordinary fragments.

Did those Divine Beasts overlook it?

Mu You found it strange, but he quickly clicked on the entry for the God’s Corpse. As soon as he read the detailed description, he understood.

[Lamp God’s Remains: A complete set of Divine Corpse, but its Divine Power appears to have been transferred...]

"No wonder..."

Mu You felt relieved. The Lamp God had transferred all his Divine Power into the Divine Lamp through Miracle Force before his death, sending it to the Star Spirit World along with his soul.

The Lamp God himself had mentioned that his Divine Bone no longer held any value; presumably, the Divine Beasts discovered it lacked Divine Power and therefore treated it like an ordinary Divine Bone.

Of course, "no value" was only true for the Divine Beasts. To a Fool, this corpse held immense value.

After all, there was something known as the Resurrection Coffin!

The Lamp God hadn’t been parasitized back then, so his soul remained intact. And with this complete Lamp God’s corpse, if both were placed into the Resurrection Coffin, wouldn’t it resurrect the Lamp God?

This thought brightened Mu You’s eyes. At this critical juncture in their battle against the Divine Beasts, resurrecting any allied deity would greatly bolster their strength.

But then he hesitated. The Blood Coffin was fueled by the Blood God’s former blood, and its energy was certainly finite. If they revived the Blood God first, would there still be enough energy left to resurrect the Lamp God?

Mu You couldn’t be sure. This was something only the Blood God himself would truly understand...

For now, he’d put that matter aside; as for this corpse, regardless of the situation, he would keep it first.

At this moment, surrounded by a group of Titans staring at him, he couldn’t act rashly. But these figures couldn’t possibly stay here forever.

Mu You directed his character to linger in the factory near the Lamp God’s remains, finding an empty workbench nearby to mimic the others’ actions as they assembled the Divine Corpses.

[A complete Titan corpse gradually takes shape in your hands...]

The assembly process proved far more complicated than he’d anticipated, taking Mu You a full four to five hours to finally complete the first one.

During this time, Mu You began to understand the work patterns of these laborers: each person seemed only required to assemble one Divine Corpse per day to count as having fulfilled their work quota, after which they could leave anytime, awaiting the next shift’s arrival.

It was already deep into the night, and by the time Mu You finished his assembly, few Titans remained in the workshop.

Waiting briefly, Mu You seized his chance as the few remaining Titans were engrossed in their tasks. He swiftly swapped the completed corpse near him with the Lamp God’s remains stored on the shelf.

He then used the rules within the Book of Order to apply subtle modifications to the ordinary corpse’s appearance, making it identical to the Lamp God’s remains.

The rule itself was straightforward, requiring little Deviation Value. However, the effect would only last for four to five hours before it was exposed. During that time, Mu You planned to finish exploring this base.

[You quietly transported the swapped corpse into the realm of Order...]

[You obtained Lamp God’s remains!]

With the item in hand, Mu You immediately opened the realm of Order in reality and retrieved the remains.

Late into the night, a massive set of remains abruptly materialized in the pet shop’s living room.

The Lamp God, who had been lazily yawning while hovering near the table, froze for a moment. At first, he didn’t recognize it, finding the bone structure somewhat familiar.

Soon, his eyes widened as realization struck: "Wait??? Isn’t this me?"

Staring at Mu You in astonishment, the Lamp God asked, "Did you find this in the City of Order?"

He naturally knew best where his remains had perished.

"Luckily, the Divine Beasts hadn’t sent it away yet," Mu You replied.

These assembled Divine Bones were obviously not meant to stay in the base long-term; there wouldn’t be enough storage space. More likely, they’d be shipped batch by batch to other cities controlled by the Divine Beasts.

The timing of their arrival seemed fortuitous—clearly, the Lamp God’s remains had been freshly assembled and hadn’t yet been transported. Had they come later, retrieving it again would’ve been much harder.

"What’s going on? How did you manage this?" the Lamp God quickly leaned closer and asked.

Mu You explained the situation in the game and also revealed the possibility of resurrecting him.

"Resurrect? Me?"

Pointing at himself, the Lamp God couldn’t hide the bewilderment on his face.

From the day he sacrificed his physical body, he had never once thought he’d have a chance to live again.

Let alone resurrection, even his Divine Power had once been suppressed and pillaged, nearly erasing his very soul. It was thanks to Mu You, the new Order Successor, arriving in time that he’d narrowly escaped complete annihilation.

Maintaining his current state was something the Lamp God was already content with.

Yet now, to be suddenly told there was a chance for him to come back to life...

Even though it was still just a faint possibility, the Lamp God couldn’t deny that a glimmer of hope stirred within him. Given the chance to move freely in physical form, who wouldn’t prefer that to spending eternity as an ethereal soul?

"But this... doesn’t seem very feasible."

Despite his rising hope, the Lamp God understood the reality of the situation.

He had seen the Blood Coffin with his own eyes. While the energy within seemed abundant, it was undoubtedly insufficient to resurrect two deities—especially when one of them was a high-ranking Blood God. Reviving such a god required immense energy! After resurrecting the Blood God, there would likely be little left for him.

"Ah, you don’t have to worry about me. Prioritize resurrecting the Blood God; it’s his after all... Besides, even if I’m resurrected, I’m just a 10-Star minor deity—I wouldn’t be of much help to you." The Lamp God shook his head with a carefree smile.
