Chapter 1334: Chapter 587: I Am Your Origin Entity
"How so?"
Having left the Mind Sea space, the group gathered again in the room. Mu You turned to the Watchman for answers.
The Watchman pondered for a moment, his frown deepening. "Little Eight probably wasn’t lying; I can discern that much. Without sufficient power, it really can’t scare off the Mirage Tapir. What’s more, from what it said, it seems that the Mirage Tapir used to be bullied by other Beasts of Catastrophe. If it finds out that Gusha is currently weak and sealed, it will definitely seek revenge and we’ll be in danger as well."
After hearing this, Mu You thought for a while and then nodded. "Then let’s do as it suggested."
"What? We’re really going to unseal that big guy..." Ling Long swallowed hard. Having stayed in Bitter Garden for four thousand years and encountered Gusha multiple times, she was very familiar with its terror.
Even though Gusha was now sealed by them, it didn’t reduce her natural fear of it. If possible, she truly didn’t want to deal with such a creature again.
"This is the most viable solution for now," Mu You sighed.
"The question is, who will do it?" Ling Long asked.
To unseal Gusha and yet keep it trapped required one method: someone had to enter the Suppression Boundary and forcibly suppress Gusha with sheer will during the time Holy Spear was withdrawn, until it was sealed again.
However, the Watchman, who had once managed this feat, definitely had to confront the Mirage Tapir and couldn’t be running back and forth. Someone else had to do it.
"I’ll go," Mu You said.
"Your true self... are you sure you can?" Ling Long looked at Mu You anxiously. Remember, the Watchman also took four thousand years to just manage a brief suppression of Gusha. Now with Mu You going in directly without any previous preparations, was that really okay?
"What are you saying? I am your true self; theoretically, whatever you can do, I should be able to do too." Mu You smiled reassuringly at them, then made an undeniable decision.
"Let’s leave it at that. One and Two, you go to the Tower of Brave, take the Gemini Stone, and signal me when ready." Mu You took out one half of the Gemini Stone, handing it over to the Medicinal Plant Gatherer.
This stone could be used across realms, containing a certain ’real’ attribute, which should allow it to materialize in the Real World.
"Ling Long, you come with me to the Bitter Garden. Remember to bring the Kylin Arm."
"Remember, staying in the Mirage Energy too long will put you to sleep, so it’s best to get it done within a few hours."
Having made the decision, the three avatars exchanged items and began their respective tasks.
Ten minutes later, Mu You and Ling Long appeared in the Red Rose Academy.
The entrance to the Bitter Forest housed the gate to Bitter Garden, but they had ample time. It was the Watchman’s journey that was more pressing—he needed to ascend the Tower of the Brave, then transfer to a small island outside the entrance, all the while being cautious of attacks from Mirage Creatures, a process consuming quite some time.
Thus, Mu You and Ling Long were not in a rush. Before heading to the forest, they planned to stop by to visit an old acquaintance.
Mu You arrived at the main building of the academy and collected the latest class schedule.
After a quick search, he soon located the target classroom: Building Three, Classroom 302, course: Magic Potions Study.
"302..."
The two approached Building Three and made their way to the third floor. Mu You scanned for the classroom door numbers, but soon realized that the supposed Classroom 302 was completely empty—no one was there for a class.
While he was puzzled, Ling Long seemed to have found a clue first.
"True self..."
Ling Long stood at the end of the corridor by the entrance to the auditorium, calling Mu You softly, then gestured with her chin towards the auditorium doors.
Mu You walked over and, looking through the clear doors and windows, quickly spotted the familiar, slim figure teaching at the front of the auditorium—it was the long-unseen Gege Wu.
Now restored to her youthful appearance, with a ponytail and wearing a Wizard Robe, she looked every bit the young girl still not fully mature.
Yet her movements and speech were considerably composed and mature; she wore large glasses on her nose, held a teaching baton, and spoke eloquently from the podium. While her voice wasn’t loud, it perfectly filled the venue.
Below, the auditorium was packed with hundreds of seats all taken, even some students stood at the back listening, all wearing serious expressions and intently focused without any distractions.
While Mu You and Ling Long stood at the door, Gege Wu seemed to sense their presence and glanced towards the door.
Then she turned back to face her students, "That’s all for today’s class. After you go back, everyone should replicate today’s temperature control experiment on your own. I won’t check, but I hope you all will complete it earnestly."
"Class dismissed."
The previously quiet classroom suddenly bustled as students carried various lab equipment out in succession.
The petite Gege Wu also emerged amidst the crowd, holding her teaching notes. After looking around at the door, she walked towards them.
"Gege-chan, so stylish!" Ling Long gave Gege Wu a thumbs up and smiled.
"Thank you," Gege Wu smiled back, then glanced around, hesitating slightly, she asked, "Has the teacher... not come?"
"Oh, he’s on another mission," Ling Long waved her hands dismissively. "Speaking of which, Gege-chan, why didn’t you join us on Earth? And if you want to see him, you could just go find him directly."
