Chapter 1126: Chapter 511: Wind Burial_2

The Bone Dragon and the Scorplion were currently tangled up with Gusha ahead, naturally no match for their opponent, for they couldn’t even break its defenses. Luckily, it wasn’t necessary to defeat Gusha now but rather to delay it. With the joint efforts of the two Divine Beasts and the Shadow Fur Ball also taking the opportunity to intensify its devouring of the Black Snake Bandits in the rear,

the three of them finally managed to temporarily lock Gusha in place.

Mu You didn’t dare waste any time and seized the opportunity. Hastily, he raised his right arm, summoned forth the Kirin Arm, and activated the Wind Burial Cannon.

In the midst of a deep humming sound, a dense Wind Element quickly gathered at the front of the Kirin Claw, soon condensing into an actual, glowing orb containing wind energy concentrated to the extreme.

At this moment, the Bone Dragon and the Scorplion felt the extremely dangerous energy behind them and instinctively shuddered. Realizing what Mu You intended to do, they urgently tightened their grip on Gusha, striving not to let it move out of range of the Wind Burial Cannon.

Regrettably, the charging time for the Wind Burial Cannon was much longer than expected. The orb expanded at a slow pace, and to charge up to its maximum power, it required at least ten seconds or more.

In the midst of charging, Mu You suddenly furrowed his brow and hurriedly stopped powering the weapon. With this interruption, the orb in front of the Kirin Arm quickly dissipated.

"What’s the matter?" Lamp God was taken aback. Why would he suddenly cancel the attack at such a critical time?

"No good, it won’t hit!" Mu You sighed.

In fact, he had already used his ability to rewind once. Before the rewind, the Wind Burial Cannon was successfully fired, but Gusha had managed to dodge it at the last moment.

They had all underestimated Gusha’s strength; relying on just the Bone Dragon and the Scorplion was obviously not enough to suppress it.

However, this did prove, from another perspective, that the Wind Burial Cannon could indeed threaten Gusha; otherwise, it wouldn’t have tried so desperately to evade.

"You come!"

Mu You instantly ’removed’ the bionic Circuit from his arm, tossing the leaf-thin, floating Circuit to the Medicinal Plant Gatherer behind him.

"Roar!"

Gusha, seeing the floating Circuit in the air, let out a great roar like a starved wolf spotting meat, struggling even more fiercely. Almost instantly, it broke free from the joined suppression of the Bone Dragon and Scorplion, dragging its shadow behind as it rushed toward the direction of the Circuit.

But it had only made it halfway when it was smashed back down to the ground by a Titan’s fist.

Mu You, controlling the Divine Skin, managed to intercept Gusha just in time, and the Scorplion and Bone Dragon hurriedly followed, entangling Gusha once more.

With Mu You’s intervention, the pressure on the Scorplion and Bone Dragon dropped dramatically, and together with the Shadow Fur Ball, they managed to completely pin the great snake to the ground, making it impossible for Gusha to break free from their suppression, no matter how it roared and struggled.

Meanwhile, the Medicinal Plant Gatherer caught the parasitic Circuit almost immediately and swiftly fitted it onto his right arm.

Integrating the Circuit for the first time required several hours, but afterward, it was much easier, allowing for quick removal and wearing. Such wearing connected directly to the soul level, and because the clone and Mu You shared the same origin, there was no rejection.

Even so, the Medicinal Plant Gatherer still spent about a minute to completely integrate the parasitic Circuit and then wasted no time in summoning the Kirin Arm. Aiming at Gusha in front, the Wind Burial Cannon began to condense once again.

"Woo..."

Watching the Wind Burial Cannon brighten rapidly, and while still pinned down by the four people, Gusha seemed to have anticipated disaster. It let out low growls from its throat, and within those growls, there was even a hint of pleading.

Unfortunately, in such a crucial moment, Mu You was not about to show any mercy, continuing to suppress Gusha with all his might.

The wind orb in front of the Kirin Arm grew swiftly, inflating to the size of a person in just a few seconds before firing out with a buzzing sound.

The Wind Burial Cannon flew across the space swiftly, living up to its name by ripping through everything in its path, charging straight for Gusha.

"Hiss..."

Just as the orb was about to make impact, Gusha suddenly let out a hiss, its eyes turning blood-red, and the entire snake burst forth with a strange, monstrous strength that flung the three people off its back.

The temporarily freed Gusha had no chance to counter because the Wind Burial Cannon was already within striking distance.

At the critical moment, all Gusha could do was to topple to the right in a hurry, tilting its head to the side just enough to let the most important part of its body escape the attack range of the Wind Burial Cannon.

However, it was powerless to save the rest of its body. As the Wind Burial Cannon enveloped it tightly, the orb hit and the densely packed Wind Blades exploded, instantly turning all tangible matter within range into dust.

Seconds later, the light faded, and a visible vacuum zone was created along the path.

Now, only a snakehead remained of Gusha, with copious amounts of black blood spurting from the severed flesh – its body, tail, and scales had all vanished cleanly.

Gusha seemed not to feel any pain, not even pausing to look back. It immediately leaped up, and while mid-air, its body morphed back into a complete snake, though its length had been reduced by several folds.

Even more fortunate was the fact that the Wind Burial Cannon’s attack had finally severed its connection with the shadow, leaving nothing in front of it to obstruct.

The pint-sized Black Snake Bandits, with eyes full of hatred and greed, flew straight toward the Medicinal Plant Gatherer in front.

"Watch out!" the Watchman hurriedly warned.

Regrettably, the tremendous power of the Wind Burial Cannon came at a price; when fired, it would drain the user’s energy, producing a state of weakness and dizziness that wasn’t easily dispelled. After firing the Wind Burial Cannon, the user would almost certainly fall into a temporary weakened state.
