Chapter 1087: 498

A tail? So, is the sealed creature below actually some kind of being?

But if the bitter Mother Tree on the surface is just the tip of this tail, and fairies are born from the Mother Tree, doesn’t that mean all fairies are separated from this creature’s body?

And a tail that extends from the surface all the way to such deep underground, how long must it be? And how gigantic must the creature itself be?

Mu You had no time to ponder further. Analyzing the Order had already taken more than a day, and he had little time left to stay here; he must act quickly.

"You’ve discovered a mergeable Parasitic Circuit Limb. Would you like to merge immediately?"

When Mu You clicked on the text for "Arm of Wind Kirin," this message popped up.

"Parasitic limb?" Mu You was momentarily stunned, quickly realizing that this Kirin Arm had been modified into a tool-like object that could be equipped or detached at any time.

"Merge!"

"Merging limb, expected completion in five hours..."

"That long..."

Mu You frowned. He had thought the item was just a glove that could be slipped on and used immediately; he didn’t expect that just preparing to wear it would take four to five hours.

Having no choice, Mu You could only wait patiently.

Meanwhile, his three clones, upon concluding their surveillance, embarked on a journey again. Yet this time, it was much simpler. They no longer needed to explore cautiously, just follow this tail downwards continually to hopefully find where the creature’s body resides.

While waiting, Mu You paid attention to his clones’ situation; however, the tail was much longer than they had estimated.

It was not until five hours had passed, and the merging had completed on Mu You’s side, that they still hadn’t found the tail’s end!

"Parasitic Circuit Limb merger successful, you’ve obtained the ’Arm of Wind Kirin’..."

As the completed merger notification appeared, Mu You had to temporarily divert his attention to inspect the effects of the limb.

"Parasitic Circuit Limb: A prop transformed from the severed limb of a Wind Kirin, possessing a part of the Wind Kirin’s power.

Abilities:

Summon Kirin Arm: The Arm of Kirin, typically dormant as a circuit on the surface, can be activated by energy input, summoning the actual limb and allowing control over its size.

Immense Strength: The Kirin arm bursts with unending power as long as it’s in contact with the earth.

Scale Armor Coating: Entirely covered by bizarre scales, shielding against all curses, seals, and weakening effects.

Wind Element Vacuum: The Wind Kirin automatically absorbs surrounding wind elements, making nearby wind magic and Divine Arts ineffective.

Wind Burial Cannon: Charging with wind elements, the Kirin’s severed arm can unleash a devastating Wind Burial Cannon, disintegrating the struck object into dust. Firing the Wind Burial Cannon will instantly drain the energy inside the wielder, and the more energy absorbed, the greater the power of the cannon. Each discharge requires a three-day cooldown period to reaccumulate the wind elements before it can be used again."

"So many?" Mu You was astonished.

He thought that since the arm had been severed from a Divine Beast and transformed into equipment, its effectiveness would certainly be minimal, but it instead revealed a plethora of powerful abilities!

The first one needs no mention, a common summon, similar to Divine Skin, basically a switch.

Mu You glanced at his right arm in reality.

From the moment the merging notification had appeared, he’d felt an itchiness in his right arm. Looking down, there were no visible changes to his arm, only covered with a labyrinth of energy circuits, seemingly etched into the skin like a circuit diagram.

This must be the "Circuit Limb" mentioned in the description, the Kylin arm. Usually existing as energy circuits on the wearer’s body surface, needing only energy input into these circuits to activate the Kirin arm.

Mu You immediately accessed his inventory space, finding an open area to test.

With energy inputted into the circuits, a semi-transparent material immediately surged out, quickly enveloping his entire arm and solidifying into the shape of a beast’s limb.

This beastly arm, covered in teal scales and only slightly thicker than Mu You’s own, wasn’t overly large. The front of the arm ended in a claw, its five sharp talons gleaming coldly, moving in sync with Mu You’s fist clenching and unclenching motions.

As Mu You increased the energy input, the arm rapidly grew in size, stretching to several tens of meters long, matching the initial description of the Kirin arm in the game.

This summoning mode was indeed similar to Divine Skin, scalable in size, but the larger it got, the faster it consumed energy.

Thinking it over, Mu You walked up to the only small hill in the space, controlled the Kirin arm to press against the hillside, and then tried to push.

"Boom..."

Accompanied by a loud thump from the ground, a myriad of falling rocks and debris tumbled from the hill, and simultaneously, the hillside indeed moved in the direction he was pushing.

Mu You looked astonished at the phantom of the beast’s claw on his right arm. He’d guessed it might be possible to move the hill, but what he didn’t expect was that he felt nothing at all.

No reaction force or anything similar existed; he simply felt as if he were pushing a bunch of air, then the hill moved.

Clearly, the laws of physics don’t apply to such Divine Beasts.
