Chapter 754: Chapter 392: How Exactly Did the Azure Dragon Do It?
Ryan nodded and said, "Coincidentally, the place they are in should be called the Northern Crown Star Ring, right? A life planet of a star ring should suffice, and it’s close to the Empire."
"Let’s go there then. Have the Yitelan Civilization cooperate, and if anything goes wrong, let the Empire cover for me."
The Alchemy Baron hesitated and said, "Your Highness, what about the promise you made to me?"
Ryan’s eyes were indifferent: "Don’t worry. Once I truly become the Ultimate Life Form using this method, the one with Level Sixty Development Potential will be delivered to you."
"After all, his teacher and I have unresolved grievances."
Having received the promise, the Alchemy Baron couldn’t help but clench his fists, seemingly very excited.
Level Sixty Development Potential, he hadn’t expected there to be such a level of life form in the universe.
He couldn’t help but ask, "That’s good, so when do we depart?"
"I still have matters in the Sea of Stars to handle. My people will assist you, and... Stuart."
He raised his hand, and a ferocious black creature crawled out from his clothes, slender like a snake, its inky black body surface covered with a slick, eerie layer of keratin that emitted a strange sheen.
A row of blood-colored bone spikes on its back were sharp and piercing, each one flashing with a chilling blood-red light,
its beastly eyes were terrifying as if they were burning flames, the deep vertical slit in its pupils making one shiver at a glance.
"Swallowing Star Prison Dragon!" The Alchemy Baron seemed startled and retreated several steps; this was a dreadful life form representing destruction.
In its Liberation Form, this tiny snake could transform into a colossal entity encircling the planet; he hardly dared to move, watching as the little snake crawled into his black robe.
"Go." Ryan said lightly. The Alchemy Baron, knowing the Prince was monitoring him, dared not say much and quickly left with the others.
"Sir, I’ve investigated; his origins are enigmatic, still unclear for now." The subordinate said in a low voice, "If he truly had a method to turn an x-level life form into an Ultimate Life Form, how could he fall to this point?"
Prince Ryan was noncommittal and merely asked, "What does the Royal Council say?"
The subordinate hesitated and said, "No further action is permitted until the specific location of the Azure Dragon is found."
"A bunch of cowards." Ryan sneered, "Just a Divine Craftsman, so cautious, and the iron-blooded plan... utterly ridiculous."
The subordinate remained silent, listening as the Prince instructed, "Take care of everything here and find some resistance organizations to take the blame."
His tone was icy: "Disband the garrison? Without the Empire’s garrison, what are these civilizations!"
...
"...The death toll exceeds five billion; this is a horrifying viral attack. We absolutely do not believe it was done by the Knights of Slaughter; there are deeper secrets!"
Li Ming watched the news, with the Morton’s voice screaming hoarsely onscreen, the incident happened just yesterday.
Li Ming pondered for a moment, feeling uneasy, deciding to quickly become an S-level life form.
Thinking about this, he didn’t bother to go out for a stroll, instead returning to continue developing the Genetic Seed.
Suddenly, the Vermilion Bird appeared, flapping its wings: "Master, someone is trying to crack our Mechanical Body."
"Someone’s cracking it again?" Li Ming was slightly surprised, but not overly concerned, "Let them crack it then."
This was not the first time such a thing happened. As the number of Mechanical Bodies increased, many forces had secretly captured his Mechanical Bodies for research.
Some would isolate communication immediately, but some forces, for reasons unknown, did not isolate external communication right away, so the Vermilion Bird could sometimes sense it.
Li Ming had anticipated this; after all, those Mechanical Bodies had been Enlightened with constructs, and no one could crack them, which deepened the mystery of the Azure Dragon.
"This time it’s near the base." The Vermilion Bird quickly added.
Li Ming’s expression slightly changed, "Are they attacking home?"
...
"Whew..." Who knows how much time passed; the Mechanical Body in the hands of the Mechanical Soul Divine Craftsman was smoking from its head, the processor overloaded, crackling with electrical arcs, and completely burned out.
"Impressive..." The Mechanical Soul Divine Craftsman withdrew his fingers, wearing a look of exclamation, "It managed to engage with me for so long on such a tiny chip."
"Next time, I must play with him on a Quantum Core; that’s the kind of place that can withstand it."
The Mechanical Soul Divine Craftsman had a satisfied expression, and their commotion had already attracted a number of Mechanical Bodies.
He glanced around, somewhat puzzled, "Isn’t the Azure Dragon going to appear?"
After battling with him for so long, they surely should have noticed us by now.
The Creator Divine Craftsman smiled faintly, "Why don’t you bring another Mechanical Body, try cutting off external communication, and then attempt to crack it?"
"Cut off external communication?" The Mechanical Soul Divine Craftsman frowned, "What do you mean, you think I would need this kind of victory?"
Switching communication connections; this Mechanical Body is just the lowest level thing, hardly worth mentioning.
"Never mind that for now, try it first; there might be a surprise." The Creator Divine Craftsman was mysteriously confident.
The Mechanical Soul Divine Craftsman snorted coldly but hesitated for a moment, eventually grabbing a Mechanical Body, covering it casually with an Isolation Force Field to block all external signals, and then performed a simple crack.
"Cracked it, and then..." The Mechanical Soul Divine Craftsman paused briefly, then suddenly froze, as the black Mechanical Body which held him started to shudder uncontrollably, as if hit by a severe earthquake, with each component wailing.
He seemed to have discovered something unimaginable, exclaiming in shock, "How is this possible!"
This Divine Craftsman unexpectedly found that even with external communication cut off, the codes he modified were still being overwritten.
