Chapter 657: Chapter 343 Pretending to be Real - The Anomaly of Talos’ Heart_2

"Tsk tsk, this kind of treasure is really comfortable to use."

On the way to the Red Robe Temple, Robbin was still playing with the silver ring in his hand, unable to put it down.

This item is priceless, scarcely sold even in Chaotic Star Gap, only through Austin’s connections did he manage to purchase one for twelve billion Star Coins.

This enormous expenditure made Robbin really feel the pinch.

Upon arriving at the Red Robe Temple, walking along the corridor filled with bizarre symbols, he kept lamenting, "All those years of hard work, and the money earned is still not enough to cover this breach of contract."

"Speaking of which, I should thank the guy who robbed my Genetic Seed, otherwise where would I get so much money."

Hearing this, Li Ming couldn’t help but glance at him; he was messaging Ulrich, briefing him about Reina’s death.

While assuring him, he also mentioned Trevor’s matter, advocating for opportunism and rapid expansion.

"I hope Ulrich can give me a big surprise when I return." Tucking away his smart device, Li Ming murmured to himself.

Robbin tried pushing the ring onto his finger with force, and remarked with a sigh: "Folded Space has its pros and cons, one’s entire fortune and life are contained within such a small ring, if lost inadvertently, it would be disastrous."

In the bag on his back, there was only a Skull left which couldn’t be put into the Folded Space.

The two chatted sporadically, Robbin casually mentioned that someone contacted him yesterday, inviting him to explore a certain civilization ruins.

"The reward is hefty, but alas, I’m already a Level A Life Form now, so the price must go up," he said shaking his head.

"Damn... how is it so huge." Robbin was startled the moment he stepped in,

The room appeared boundless, almost without an end in sight, not due to the optical illusion created by glass but some kind of spatial expansion technology.

The floor was densely engraved with various complex symbols, the ceiling overhead opened, black chains shaking, pulled from all directions.

Suspended in the center of the chains was a dazzling golden irregular Energy Ball, emitting startling Energy Fluctuations.

Robbin swallowed his saliva, staring at the golden sphere, and whispered: "It is said that the energy of Twin Peaks is actually powered by a star."

"Ohoho..." Austin appeared beside them covering his mouth, laughing strangely: "What ridiculous rumor, this is not a star."

Robbin sighed in relief, only to hear Austin continue: "This is a condensate of ten stars."

Robbin’s hair stood on end in an instant, seeing his reaction Austin laughed even louder, "Kids are really cute."

Robbin’s throat moved, not daring to speak.

Nearby was a shuttle-shaped spacecraft, its entirety presenting a sleek shape, the front extremely sharp, resembling a precise arrowhead, seamlessly stretching from front to back.

"Breaker model three, the latest product of the Multi-dimensional Research Institute, capable of crossing a dimensional barrier in three minutes," Austin briefly explained.

"Kid, give me the coordinates." He reached out, speaking to Robbin.

Robbin didn’t dare to stroke his hair, carefully handing over a USB drive.

Austin snapped his fingers, a tender crystalline sphere somehow floated over and swallowed the USB drive whole.

"Analysis complete, converting Runes..."

Soon, a string of complex runes floated out from the pink sphere like ribbons.

Austin stretched out his finger, the runes swirling around, twining along each side of his finger.

"Go." He suddenly threw them out, like arrows loosed from a bow, exploding near the surface as the runes on the ground suddenly lit up, resembling a reversing waterfall, with a massive surge of symbols.

With almost inaudible sizzling sounds, a luminescent blue crack slowly appeared in the space, immediately ripped open by invisible forces.

"Make it bigger." Austin spread his fingers, and the Space Channel indeed slowly expanded until it could accommodate the spacecraft passing through.

"Please, both of you." Austin extended his hand, poised gracefully, then added a reminder:

"By the way, just a heads up, I’m not exactly specialized in Dimension Worlds, and crossing it may encounter severe spatial storms as it’s quite far, so be careful."

"Thank you for your help," Li Ming expressed his gratitude, as he, along with Robbin, boarded the spaceship and started the engine, which emitted an invisible flame.

"Let’s go," Austin raised his hand, and the spaceship slowly glided into the Space Channel.

The location of Dimension Worlds is almost fixed; to most easily reach a specific Dimension World, one needs to be near its corresponding position in the Main Universe.

And Austin’s portal spanned a great distance.

At first, when they were near the portal, the space was relatively stable, but as they went deeper inside, the space storms became more intense.

However, the Breaker was designed for such environments; its surface ignited an Energy Shield, which could withstand the pressure, with bizarre lights on either side, passing by countless Dimension Worlds.

But...

Bang!

At a certain moment, Li Ming’s pupils constricted and his heart suddenly twitched, a sense of unfounded palpitations filling his entire body.

"What’s going on?" Li Ming was surprised, clutching his heart, unsure of the source of this sensation.

"What happened?" Robbin sensed something was wrong and couldn’t help but ask.

"I don’t know, just suddenly felt a..." Before Li Ming could finish his sentence, the spaceship abruptly issued a warning: "Detecting a supra-scale abnormal energy rapidly approaching, please prepare for impact..."

"What is that?" Robbin instinctively turned his head towards the porthole, then he was stunned.

Outside the window, a vast surge of golden energy fluctuations approached majestically.

Theoretically, in the Space Channel, they could traverse endless distances every moment, but that tide-like golden color relentlessly followed close behind and was rapidly closing in.

"That is..." Li Ming’s expression was solemn, inexplicably feeling a jarring familiarity with that golden energy.

Without a sound, the golden tide approached, enveloping the spaceship. The ship’s Energy Shield shattered immediately, and warning alarms continued unabated.

"What in the world is happening?" Robbin was dumbfounded; his experiences traveling through the Space Channel were limited, let alone encountering such a bizarre situation.

Boom!

The spaceship cracked, already enveloped by the golden tide, like a tangible liquid surging from all directions.

"Butler..." Robbin was somewhat panicking, hastily pulling out the Skull.

Li Ming instinctively switched to the Power of Talos’ Heart, stacking defenses, and prepared to gear up the Tank Guard.

But the next moment, he suddenly remembered where that familiar sensation of the golden glow came from.

It was from the first time he used the Power of Talos’ Heart, the golden energy surrounding the enormous vertical pupil he had seen.

"Talos..." A vast, barely audible voice echoed in his mind, followed by his pupils constricting and everything before his eyes blurring, gradually being covered by an endless expanse of gold.

"You are not dead yet..." The voice continued to resound, not as words, but as mental fluctuations, directly converting into meanings he could understand, coming from all directions.

"Talos..." The voices overlapped, "I will find you..."

Golden waves surged from all directions, like a tsunami, as if the master of this place had gone into a rage.

Li Ming didn’t know in what form he existed at the moment, having no physical body, nor was he any soul form; these energies should be unable to cause him any harm.

Although his mind was initially frightened, he quickly calmed down.

Talos was likely the owner of that heart; was it because of Control that I have been imbued with Talos’ aura, thus being detected by this entity?

This guy originally is a life form from a Dimension World and seems incredibly powerful.

All kinds of thoughts streaked through Li Ming’s mind, and as he pondered, he noticed that the first wave of energy approaching had, inexplicably, dispersed.

Subsequently, other approaching energies did the same, indicating that the owner of this region seemed able to detect his presence, but the attacks launched couldn’t harm him.

What’s the principle here? Is it that no laws can be imposed on the body?
