One of the most underrated stories. The protagonist has depth and is extremely interesting, the dialogue flows naturally with all side characters having personalities, and the plot twist later on are crazy. It's a lot like Tapov and is very good
Wrote in wrong place: Top ten novel on this site. Plot- Quite generic but subverts expectations and develops in an unexpected way. Main Character- I appreciate when the MC has an actual goal they strive towards ( quite reminiscient of GLIV in that aspect ). Side Characters- Naturally, some are more developed than others, masterful schemes are woven through certain characters which is tasteful. System- Normally, I detest the appearance of a system (numbers of reasons far from trivial), Unfortunately, this novel has got me on board with the system- serious, full of mystique and clearly a lot to unpack over there. Harem- so far NO harem ( MC is quite mature and acts his age most of the time - I thank the author for no harem as I would be forced to drop it. Tone- Quite dark perhaps a tad edgy- occasional light parts but it fits the world and plot. Enjoyment- Generally, having a blast and on the edge of my seat
Honestly, a suprising work of fiction, it holds it own for a decent portion, but also wears its influence on its sleaves. It derives a bit from its influence, but is done quite well done. The reason i gave a 3 stars is just that. I feel that, until where ive read(chapter 140-141, past the moonlight family arc) its quite alright, its dark and uncomfortable, which is honestly a refreshing suprise, you dont see many authors go dark. but again i feel that in terms of susbstance it just dosent hold itself above a 3 stars or 3.5. because the works it takes inspiration from is just better, authors pov is better, the demon prince at the academy-just better. tbf i havent read past a certain point, so you can view my review as how the story holds itself until the point that ive read. which is just--hmmm suprisingly good, but if you come with expectations, youll be slightly underwhelmed.
this novel is just too good, at first it seemed a below average novel but since victoriad arc it just keeps on improving, author really knows his ways
I don't know what the hate is about. Sure the novel takes inspiration from some other well-established novels but I like it. The author did a pretty good job with plot twists like about MC'd dad. It's on par with Extra's Death.
Novel is pretty good definitely not worth a 3.9, it should be 4+ anyways. If I had one complaint it should be trying to see where his sister or mother could have revived or their souls where they reincarnated.
Peak writing, peak plot twists, best character development at first it was a copy from other popular novels but now it has its own plot and everything and latest chapters are peak🍏
it's very boring to be honest. Especially the first chapters, it's just the same old cliche and lacks a hook. Additionally, it's very cringy, I struggled to read through all that... cringe. Wouldn't really reccomend, the writing quality isn't great either.
This novel is rlly good, there's a period of about 30 chapters between 120 to 150 ish where it drags on, a lot, but the next tournament arc more than makes up for the boring arc, and the ending of the first volume is soo good, so all in all, till you read the first volume don't drop, I promise as long as you read the first volue you won't regret it
The beginning of the novel is heavily inspired by other works, yet it's not done as well. There are no asspulls or absurd plot armour moments that save the MC's life for no reason.
The writing is rough in the beginning but improves later on. Though the MC's obsession to get back home is different to other novels, it's kinda grating in a way.
