The Tycoon Has A Secret Crush On Me -
Chapter 959 - 965: A Flower
Chapter 959: Chapter 965: A Flower
The man in black behind him silently held an umbrella over him.
The tracker lost its signal here, blocked by something unknown.
Jun Mochan’s heart felt as if it was being scorched over a fire, deeply uncomfortable.
"The lady must not have gone far, send people to conduct a thorough search in this area," Jun Mochan said in a deep voice.
"Yes," Number Three and Number Four immediately got out of the car.
Number Two was still in the car, waiting for Jun Mochan’s orders.
Jun Mochan was looking down, fiddling with the tracking signal device.
All he wanted now was to quickly find Ye Ranran and deal with that audacious group.
...
Ye Ranran woke up to a whiff of fragrance, her stomach growling before her eyes fully opened.
Through her blurry vision, she saw a middle-aged woman.
"Awake?" A voice tinged with concern rang beside her ear.
Ye Ranran tried to move and found that aside from feeling a bit weak and powerless, she felt no pain.
It seemed that the other party hadn’t mistreated her.
Her right hand was hooked up to an IV drip, but she didn’t know what it was for.
"Have some porridge," the woman said.
After drinking the porridge and warming up, Ye Ranran felt much better.
"Do you have a cellphone? I need to borrow it," Ye Ranran said.
"Wait a moment, I’ll ask for permission," the woman replied politely.
But that request for permission never brought her back.
After waiting for two hours without seeing anyone, Ye Ranran removed the IV needle, lifted the blanket, and sat up.
She was wearing a set of light blue home clothes. Ye Ranran looked around for her own clothes and belongings but couldn’t find them.
She had no choice but to wear this set of clothes and go out. She opened the door and encountered the beautiful woman who had brought her back.
"Awake? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?" the beautiful woman asked with concern.
The sudden change made Ye Ranran wary, "I’m fine, do you have a cellphone? I need to make a call with your phone."
"If it’s to call Jun Mochan, forget it. I just notified him, and he should be here soon," the beautiful woman’s gaze subtly sizing her up.
"Who are you?" Ye Ranran asked.
"Gu Yan, you might not have heard of me, but you should be familiar with the Gu Family of Frontier City."
The Gu Family of Frontier City was known because the Gu men had served in the military for generations, always in the harshest and coldest places, earning them this title.
The youngest daughter of the Gu Family had become a diplomat, known as a flower of the diplomatic world.
But wasn’t she always abroad? Why had she come back this time?
"Curious, aren’t you? Didn’t you guess?" Gu Yan’s eyes were piercing.
Recalling her previous odd behavior, Ye Ranran tentatively said, "Because of Song Ze."
"You have Jun Mochan, you wouldn’t compete with me, would you?"
Before Ye Ranran could respond, a servant came to report, "Miss, Young Master Jun has arrived."
Before Gu Yan could reply, Jun Mochan entered from outside. Seeing Ye Ranran, he quickly took two steps forward, reached her side, and hugged her.
"Be gentle, you’re hurting me," Ye Ranran slightly resisted against his chest.
Jun Mochan looked as if he hadn’t slept all night, his complexion frightfully dark, his smile vanished, his arms like iron, tightly restraining Ye Ranran.
As if he was afraid she would vanish again.
Hearing Ye Ranran’s cry of pain, he slightly loosened his grip, but did not let go.
"Miss Gu, thank you for taking care of my wife," Jun Mochan didn’t forget his manners.
"It was a chance encounter, but your wife did surprise me," Gu Yan said meaningfully.
Ye Ranran’s heart skipped a beat; she knew Gu Yan was alluding to her saving Song Ze.
