Chapter 954: Chapter 960: She Beats Him to Death

"It’s also protecting you."

Ye Ranran did not answer, just gazed at the scenery outside the window.

When Ye Ranran finished drawing a picture, the film city came into view, she packed her design sketchbook and got off the bus with everyone else.

While the actors were getting their makeup done, she prepared the necessary outfits, watching the crew help them change, then stepped back as her work was done.

During the third scene, Che Hao’s costume caught on a branch and tore, a piece which unfortunately was an important part of the costume.

"Sister Ranran, hurry over and take a look," a crew member said anxiously.

Ye Ranran looked over and said, "Bring me a needle and thread, the thread must match the color of the costume."

Soon, the needle and thread were found.

Ye Ranran knelt on the ground, mending Che Hao’s costume, while One squatted down, wanting to help: "Madam, let me hold that for you."

"No need," Ye Ranran replied without looking up.

In her nimble hands, the needle and thread seemed to come to life, deftly weaving through the fabric.

Che Hao bowed his head slightly, through the light and shadow, it seemed like he saw a scene from years ago, her on her tiptoes, smoothing out the wrinkles on his clothes.

The figures of then and now overlapped.

In his ears, discordant harsh words rang out: "Don’t act just yet, I’ll tell you if needed."

Indeed, he was a hidden piece planted by the Song Family, one not even Jun Mochan had detected.

Che Hao stretched out his hand, to which One immediately watched closely.

Che Hao then silently withdrew his hand.

"Done," Ye Ranran said as she sewed the final stitch, tied a knot, and perfectly finished up.

In early spring, a light rain continued, and though inside, the floor was not very clean.

Just now, she had knelt down heedlessly, inevitably staining her pants with mud.

Ye Ranran casually patted her pants and sat down again.

Seeing her disheveled appearance, One’s mouth twitched.

Ye Ranran caught that look, twirling her pen, her eyes clear: "Do you have a problem with me?"

"Madam should be careful, it would be bad if someone took a photo of this," One advised.

Ye Ranran thought about it, agreed it made sense, and meticulously patted the dust off her pants, then towards the end, looked at One: "Is it okay now?"

"Yes, now it’s good."

For some reason, Ye Ranran felt he was somewhat annoying.

She took out her phone, thinking about calling Jun Mochan to complain a bit, that he wasn’t by her side and yet arranged for a shadow to follow her every moment.

But fearing she might disturb him, she ultimately dejectedly threw the phone to the side.

Forget it, better to crunch numbers instead.

Half an hour later, Ye Ranran realized something was wrong, she stared intently at her computer, watching as the data she had just corrected reverted to its original state.

"One, are you a computer expert?" Ye Ranran looked up, her expression serious.

"I’m slightly less skilled than the young master." But for her, that probably counted as an expert, right?

"Come over and check if someone has hacked my computer." Dammit, who was so audacious? She’d catch them and beat them to death.

One immediately frowned, took Ye Ranran’s computer from her hands, and upon seeing the rows of data, he quickly encrypted them and traced the intruder.

After tracking down the address, he effortlessly destroyed the culprit’s system, wiping all the data inside.

"Done," One handed the computer back to Ye Ranran.

"Will this cause trouble?" These were not ordinary data; if they got out... The more she thought about it, the more uneasy Ye Ranran became.
