The Tycoon Has A Secret Crush On Me
Chapter 951 - 957: Especially Calm

Chapter 951: Chapter 957: Especially Calm

She knew that if it was just that document, he could have easily asked the secretary to send it over; he must have come back specifically to finish dealing with it.

With that delay, two hours had passed.

The office was uncomfortably quiet, until the pen in Ye Ranran’s hand fell to the ground.

Since that severe injury, Ye Ranran’s hands couldn’t handle heavy objects, nor could they actively move for long periods; she couldn’t even hold a pen.

She bent down to pick it up, but a hand was quicker than hers.

"Tired?" Jun Mochan handed her the pen.

"Mmh, a bit." Ye Ranran took the pen with her left hand, her expression casual, her eyes barely showing any fluctuation.

She had caused the incident, so naturally, she had to bear the consequences. Why feel sad and make Jun Mochan feel bad as well?

"Wait for me to tidy up, and then we can leave," Jun Mochan shut down the computer.

He didn’t like others touching his desk, so he always cleaned it up himself.

Ye Ranran watched him intently, thinking that a man looks handsomest when he is serious; she found Mr. Jun handsome at all times.

"I heard the Chu Family filed a report."

Jun Mochan’s actions paused, then he calmly replied, "Mmh."

Was that it? Ye Ranran tried to read more from his expression but there was nothing, absolutely nothing.

"Aren’t you worried at all?" No matter how secret a matter, traces always remained. Wasn’t he scared at all?

"Worried about what? Even if it gets discovered, so what? Even if they know I did it, so what?" Such affairs, he had never been short of.

This was not the first, nor would it be the last.

"Alright, if you’re this composed, I have nothing to worry about," Ye Ranran said indifferently.

"When have I ever not been composed? When was there ever a need for my wife to worry about me?" Jun Mochan looked at her amusedly: "To the extent that my wife has so little faith in me?"

Ye Ranran tried hard to think of a moment when he wasn’t composed, and realized there truly wasn’t any.

He was always particularly composed, no matter the circumstances.

Seeing her frowning and deep in thought, a hint of helplessness appeared in Jun Mochan’s eyes: "Stop thinking, let’s go home for dinner."

"Oh, okay." Ye Ranran stood up and naturally intertwined her arm with his: "Let’s go, husband."

After eating, Ye Ranran unusually suggested going for a walk.

"It’s a bit cold, let’s not go. We’ll talk when the weather is warmer," Jun Mochan opposed.

"Alright." Ye Ranran went upstairs and quickly came back down, her arms cradling a laptop: "Husband, there’s something here I don’t quite get, could you teach me a bit?"

"Sit here." Jun Mochan patted his thigh.

Ye Ranran bit her lower lip, her face hesitant.

There were still so many people around, could we not be so obvious?

"What? Don’t want to?" Jun Mochan raised an eyebrow.

Ye Ranran walked over hesitantly, about to suggest sitting next to him, when Jun Mochan pulled her close as she approached.

He pressed her down on his lap.

Ye Ranran’s face felt as if it was on fire.

"Madam, focus. I’ll teach you how to do the data reports," Jun Mochan’s clear voice rang in her ear.

Ye Ranran’s romantic thoughts were instantly scattered.

Jun Mochan explained all her confusions, and Ye Ranran listened very attentively. If one ignored the overly intimate posture between them, everything seemed quite normal.

Ye Ranran thought that Jun Mochan was doing this just to tease her intentionally, but she soon realized that wasn’t the case.
