Chapter 901: Chapter 898: Who is Putting on Airs

"Can you take care of this last order?" a colleague placed a customer service file in front of Luo Qi.

Luo Qi picked it up and saw that the customer had ordered a dress, had settled on the style, but there were some problems with the final product.

It turned out that the designer, in an attempt to cut corners, had bought inferior fabric from outside.

The customer needed it urgently the next day and didn’t check it upon receipt. As a result, when she wore it that evening, disaster struck.

Being laughed at and embarrassed was the least of her issues; she had an allergic reaction!

The customer complained immediately, and the designer was fired by the company, but the problem was still unresolved, and the customer’s anger had not dissipated.

The customer was already difficult to deal with, and now she made things even harder, to an extent that was indescribable.

Two designers both returned defeated with nothing to show for their effort.

The rest were frightened off and no longer dared to take up the challenge.

Besides, with that time, it was better to take on other tasks, which were easier, and most importantly, there was some commission to be earned.

With such after-sales services, there’s no money in it, and it’s all effort with no appreciation.

Luo Qi wasn’t stupid, and besides, she had important things to deal with; she could easily refuse.

"Sorry, I’m afraid that won’t be possible. I’ve been quite busy recently. You should find someone else," Luo Qi declined politely with a smile.

"The work you have won’t be done in a day or two. Finish this first, the customer is quite urgent," the older colleague said without lifting their head from the computer.

"Because it’s important, I need more time. But that doesn’t mean I have the time to finish this, much as I would like to. I just can’t," Luo Qi replied, still very politely.

The last thing anyone wanted in the office was to make enemies, especially since Ye Ranran used to cover for her.

Now that there was no one, she had to be even more cautious.

"Such a small matter, and you can’t do it?" Clearly looking for excuses.

"Since it’s a small matter, and the manager has handed it to you, why don’t you find some time to get it done? I still have promotional designs to finish. I think you should be able to tell which is more important," Luo Qi said.

Having said that, Luo Qi thought her colleague would back off, but she had completely underestimated their persistence.

"Oh, putting on airs now, are we?" the colleague was not pleased.

"You’re misunderstanding. I’m just stating the facts," Luo Qi tried to maintain her smile.

In fact, she was already flipping them off in her mind. They made it sound like it was nothing, but why didn’t they do it themselves?

They couldn’t handle it and pushed the problem onto her as if she was easy to bully.

"What if I insist that you do it today?" the colleague provoked.

As Luo Qi was considering whether she’d have to argue, Ah Chuan appeared just in time.

He knocked on the desk, "Done talking? Can we go? The people from the TV station are waiting for us."

Luo Qi’s face showed an apologetic smile, but her eyes twinkled, "I’m really sorry, but I have to step out for a bit."

Sitting in Ah Chuan’s car and buckling her seatbelt, she casually asked, "How did you show up just in time?"

Don’t tell her it was a coincidence, that would be too perfect of a timing.

"A client was coming to the company, so I came along. During our conversation on the way over, I learned what had happened and thought you might be in trouble." It turned out he was right on the money.

"And Mrs. Ante?" Luo Qi hadn’t seen her at that time.

"She went to find your manager."
