Chapter 711: Chapter 708: Why Not Solve it Directly_1

"You’ve got a death wish."

Ye Ranran kept silent, understanding that sometimes death can bring more relief than life.

After seeing the doctor, her grandfather unusually stressed things like keeping warm, not going out in snowy weather, and such.

What Ye Ranran hates most are these nagging concerns. She quickly said, "Grandfather, you wait here for me. I’m going to the restroom."

"Go ahead, I’ll wait outside."

After turning a corner and making sure no one was around, Ye Ranran finally exhaled in relief.

Being cared about can sometimes be a burden.

Ye Ranran did not actually need to use the restroom. She stayed inside for a moment then came out.

But she didn’t expect to run into a person she least expected: Xu Zi.

She looked haggard, with drooping bags under her eyes. The dark circles were as pronounced as a panda’s. She looked older by more than ten years. Her eyes were dull, not reflecting any hope.

Ye Ranran could hardly believe the person before her was Xu Zi, the arrogant and dominant Xu Zi.

"What are you doing here? Came here to mock me, didn’t you?" Seeing Ye Ranran immediately set Xu Zi off like a bomb.

Ye Ranran pretended to be surprised: "Ah, you caught me. I went to your hospital room to find you weren’t there. I was heartbroken, but I didn’t expect to run into you here."

"It seems even the heavens won’t let you off. They want me to shame you thoroughly."

"Ye Ranran, shame has left you, hasn’t it?" Xu Zi lifted her hand, about to slap Ye Ranran.

Number One suddenly appeared, grabbing Xu Zi’s hand: "Madam, do you want to break her hand?"

"As I’ve said, we are gentle people. How could we be so brutal? Let her suffer for a few days should be fine." Breaking it would definitely bring blame from her mother.

"Don’t let her scream." Before Number One could act, Ye Ranran quickly added.

Number One immediately covered Xu Zi’s mouth, and with a bit of force, a crack signaled the breaking of her wrist.

Without experiencing it, Ye Ranran knew how painful it was, seeing the sweat popping out on Xu Zi’s forehead was enough.

"Ye Ranran...you...I won’t let you go."

"Watch your words, or I might cut off your tongue in a bad mood."

Xu Zi quickly shut her mouth.

Ye Ranran was satisfied: "Isn’t this better? I’m not afraid of being blamed as I can only be reproached at most, without any substantial harm. But you..."

Ye Ranran stared at Xu Zi’s mouth: "If my mother asks me once, I will cut your tongue off. If she asks twice, I will gouge out your eyes. If she asks a third time, hmm, one of your ears will go."

Ye Ranran’s voice was gentle, but her words were harsh; as chilling as the wind blowing from hell, it sent shivers down one’s spine.

"Promise me, don’t say anything okay?"

Xu Zi nodded.

"Such a good girl. Oh right, I forgot to ask, what can a face do? Can you eat it?"

Tears welled up in Xu Zi’s eyes as she pitifully stared at Ye Ranran.

"Don’t look at me with those eyes. I’m not a man, so I won’t show you any mercy. Just remember what I said earlier. Let’s go, Number One."

Number One let Xu Zi go, sneered at her, then followed Ye Ranran out.

"Why not solve her directly?" Number One didn’t understand what Ye Ranran was leaving Xu Zi alive for.

To play with her? To toy with her?
