Chapter 416: Chapter 415: She Doesn’t Go Out_1

"Make it up to me? Why didn’t you say that when I was being treated like a lunatic?" What’s the use of making it up now?

"Forget it, what’s done is done, let me check your hand first."

Seeing the fresh blood dyeing her hand red, it was clear that the wound was torn open.

"Let’s go to the living room," Ye Ranran suggested.

This was her private space with Jun Mochan, she didn’t want others to intrude.

Huo Yi, as if he hadn’t heard her, began to remove the bandage from Ye Ranran’s hand.

Her hand was covered with large and small wounds, some of the flesh was flipped out and it looked particularly gruesome.

Recalling her madness earlier, Huo Yi felt a bitter taste in his heart.

"I remember you were not quite keen on Xiao Han when you were a kid," Huo Yi changed the subject.

Back when she used to visit his house and Jun Mochan would tease her, she didn’t have a very good impression of him.

Every time Jun Mochan actively sought her company, she ignored him.

"I don’t remember him at all," she knew Huo Yi had a younger brother, but had almost no impression of him.

Perhaps, as Jun Mochan said, she honestly did not care at all.

"If I had known I would love him this much today, I would’ve kept him in my heart earlier." Ye Ranran’s eyes softened when she mentioned Jun Mochan.

"What about me?" Huo Yi suddenly asked.

"What business is it of yours?" Ye Ranran found him puzzling.

At one point, he seemed eager to strangle her, now here he was pretending to be profound. Men’s hearts are as unfathomable as the sea, really hard to guess.

"If I had..."

"Stop." Ye Ranran interrupted him immediately, "You said ’if’ - if you can find a drug to cure regret, come back and talk to me about the ’ifs’ then, alright?"

Such phrases were the last things she wanted to hear now.

’If’ is just ’if’, the past is the past.

"What are you guys talking about? Seems like a happy conversation?" Xu Zi came in from outside.

She seemed as if nothing had happened, with a gentle smile on her face. Her face was quite pale though, like it had been soaking in water for a long time.

It was somewhat frightening.

Huo Yi quickly moved a little away from Ye Ranran.

Seeing his movement, Xu Zi’s eyes held a hint of resentment.

"Ah Yi, go rest, leave the rest to me." Xu Zi tried to take over the medicine in his hand.

Huo Yi avoided her, "Go rest if you’re not feeling well, I’ve got this."

"A man and woman alone in the same room, Ah Yi, what am I supposed to think?" Xu Zi’s smile could no longer hold.

"You know, what happened earlier was not my fault." Her eyes started to cloud over with tears.

Ye Ranran truly admired her, being able to cue the crying act the moment it was needed, not needing to build it up at all.

"Sister-in-law, if one day, you and big brother get a divorce, you could consider becoming an actress." Ye Ranran earnestly suggested.

"What do you mean by that? Divorce? Are you planning to do something?" Xu Zi’s voice escalated.

"Undoubtedly, the thing I want to do most now is kick you out." Ye Ranran looked at her coolly.

"Xiao Zi, you go out first." Huo Yi’s face darkened a little.

"I’m not going." Xu Zi simply sat down at the side.

Huo Yi’s face became so dark it seemed as though ink could drip from it.

Ye Ranran watched the show from the side.

Why did she feel so great watching this?

"Alright, you can leave now. With the two of you here, you’re ruining my mood." Ye Ranran shooed them off.

With the drama over, she didn’t want to see Xu Zi’s sickening face anymore. And of course, Huo Yi’s face wasn’t any better.

Huo Yi left after wrapping the bandages around Ye Ranran’s hand.
