Chapter 387: Chapter 385: He Authorized It _1

Ye Ranran didn’t know what had come to his mind and why he had suddenly changed. She quietly grasped his arm.

The warmth on his arm cooled Jun Mochan down.

He stood up and raised the gun in his hand.

The turntable started spinning again.

Ye Ranran didn’t know when Jun Mochan had fired the shot; all she saw was blood splattering from the man’s foot and arm.

The fast-spinning turntable didn’t affect Jun Mochan’s aim at all; Ye Ranran had no idea how he managed it.

But she knew the training he went through must have been tough.

"Get him out of here," Jun Mochan said, glancing at the man who was barely hanging on to life.

"Yes, sir." One picked up the man and led him out.

The strong smell of blood lingered in the room, churning Ye Ranran’s stomach.

But she couldn’t vomit.

"Let’s go, let’s go home," said Jun Mochan, reaching for Ye Ranran’s hand.

Ye Ranran’s fingers intertwined with his, and their hands clenched tightly together.

Their palms pressed against each other, with a special feeling of tacit understanding flowing between them. They didn’t say a word.

Only when they were in the car did Jun Mochan finally speak: "Ask whatever you want."

"Did you send that man back to the Wen Family?"

"Yes, people are always skeptical, especially politicians. They trust no one. The Wens will definitely think he’s cut a deal with me when he returns."

So the Wen Family would certainly deal with him.

But he wouldn’t accept his fate willingly; he knew so many of the Wen Family’s secrets that he could use to threaten them.

"When that time comes, I’ll look for him, catch him, get hold of the Wen Family’s weaknesses and root them out."

Listening to Jun Mochan’s strategy, Ye Ranran’s heart pounded. Yet, she couldn’t help but admire him wholeheartedly.

"Husband, you’re amazing," Ye Ranran praised in awe.

Jun Mochan accepted her praise graciously.

Knowing Jun Mochan was returning tonight, Mother Huo waited for him.

But Jun Mochan, who had dealt with the matter, didn’t return to the villa until half past eight.

Seeing her son after a few days, Mother Huo’s face beamed with a smile. But that faded when she saw Ye Ranran.

"Have you eaten yet?" Mother Huo asked, stifling her disregard for Ye Ranran and looking lovingly at Jun Mochan.

"Ranran and I have already eaten. You go ahead," said Jun Mochan, nodding at his mother and escorting Ye Ranran upstairs.

"Wait!" Mother Huo stopped Jun Mochan. "You’ve been gone for so many days, and you can’t even sit down to eat with me now that you are finally back?"

Just as Jun Mochan was about to speak, Ye Ranran squeezed his hand.

"You go on upstairs," uttered Mo Han, releasing Ye Ranran’s hand.

He knew that Mother Huo didn’t like Ye Ranran; keeping her here would only make things uncomfortable for both of them.

Mother Huo was stubborn. In the short term, he couldn’t change her mindset, especially when she was so fond of Xia Shi.

Ye Ranran nodded, didn’t look at Mother Huo, and headed upstairs.

"Did you do what happened to Xiao Shi?" Mother Huo immediately asked as soon as Jun Mochan sat down.

Today, when Xia Shi was sent back, she was in such a disgraceful state where was no trace of her previous vibrant and confident self left.

Xia’s father had seen it too and hadn’t decided yet on how to react.

"What have I done?" Jun Mochan’s face lost its smile, his voice devoid of any emotion.

Mother Huo angrily said, "Xiao Shi’s compromising photos were displayed on the big screen. Don’t tell me this has nothing to do with you."

She had made calls to inquire about it, and this was indeed authorized by
