Seeing Ye Ranran’s rare enthusiasm, Jun Mochan held back his stern words.

"Later on, they’re going to see a movie." His call ended quickly.

"Which movie theater?" Ye Ranran’s eyes gleam brightly.

"They haven’t decided yet. Why worry, my lady? Matters of the heart are best left to those involved. The journey depends entirely on the two people involved."

Clear and pleasant voice, like a gentle breeze grazing Ye Ranran’s heart.

"Alright, then let’s not worry about others. Husband, shall we go on a date?" Ye Ranran loops her arm around Jun Mochan’s neck.

Jun Mochan leans towards her and whispers in her ear, "How does the lady propose we date?"

"Let’s go to a movie." It’s an old-fashioned date idea; however, she hasn’t been in a while.

Back when she was in school, she occasionally went to the movies. Since getting together with Gao Han, she spent most of her time holed up in his office.

"We have a small theatre at home if you want to watch something." The villa is fully equipped, filled with things Ye Ranran could think of and even ones she couldn’t imagine.

"I want to go to the cinema." The two of them cooped up at home wouldn’t be as fun. It would feel much like using their own laptop to watch a movie.

Though it sounds romantic, it’s actually quite lonely.

No atmosphere at all.

Jun Mochan doesn’t fancy crowded places, especially movie theaters. It’s always overrun by young couples, in a crowd and cramped.

But he would do it for Ye Ranran.

"Let’s go, then." Jun Mochan pats Ye Ranran’s head.

"Okay, I’ll go freshen up." Ye Ranran extricates herself from Jun Mochan’s arms.

Considering it was their first date, Ye Ranran took it seriously and decided to put on makeup.

Looking at her staggered hair length, Ye Ranran silently put on a wig.

When Jun Mochan finished getting ready, he was taken aback by the stunning vision Ye Ranran had become.

"Why are you dressed up so beautifully?" Jun Mochan reached out, wanting to pinch Ye Ranran’s cheek.

Ye Ranran awkwardly dodged his hand, "Don’t touch. It’ll mess up my blush."

"My lady is beautiful even without makeup." Jun Mochan wraps his arm around her shoulder.

Ye Ranran hummed in response: "I don’t mind being a bit more beautiful."

So that she would be worthy of him. The latter part, Ye Ranran did not say out loud.

Sine it was a date, Jun Mochan didn’t instruct the driver to follow. He drove himself.

Ye Ranran sat in the co-pilot seat, browsing through the movie listings: "Which one should we watch?"

"Let’s decide when we get there." Jun Mochan didn’t turn to look.

"Buying online is cheaper, you’re not good at saving money." Who still goes to the theater to buy tickets? It’s not like they’re burning money.

Jun Mochan chuckled, "As you wish, my lady. We’ll watch whatever you decide."

Alright, then Ye Ranran paid him no mind. She browsed for a long time before finally choosing a romance film.

The plot was rather boring, making both Ye Ranran and Jun Mochan drowsy. On the other hand, the couple sitting next to them were locked in a passionate kiss.

Jun Mochan, becoming impatient, begins to get touchy-feely with Ye Ranran.

"What are you doing?" Ye Ranran says coyly.

"Naturally, I am courting you." Jun Mochan whispers in her ear.

Ye Ranran shuddered, trying to maintain her calm: "Mr. Jun, we’re in a movie theater right now."

"It’s dark, who could see? Besides, didn’t my lady bring me here for the ambiance?"

Like hell she did. Who would want to perform an intimate act publicly?

Ye Ranran was left speechless, unable to form words as Jun Mochan teased her.

Just as sparks were about to fly between the two, Ye Ranran notices a familiar figure.

"Mr. Jun, look, isn’t that Ah Chuan?"

Jun Mochan’s heart was ablaze, making him restless. All he wanted was to consummate his love for Ye Ranran right there, however, the time and place weren’t right.
