Chapter 255: Chapter 255: Let her see clearly_1
"What does it matter whether I forgive him or not? Anyway, I’m never going back to him, even if you’re not here, let alone the fact that you’re now in my life." Ye Ranran answered slowly, each word seeming to strike at Jun Mochan’s heart.
"What difference does it make if he had his reasons? Betrayal is betrayal, abandonment is abandonment. We’ve been apart for so many years, there have been so many events, so many people, how can we go back?" Ye Ranran exhaled slowly.
Lost love, like time passed, cannot be reclaimed. All she can do is try to look ahead.
"If Mr. Jun is more candid with me, my heart will feel more at ease." Ye Ranran suddenly leaned over, winking at Jun Mochan.
Struck by her charm, Jun Mochan almost lost control of the steering wheel.
Ye Ranran covered her mouth and laughed.
"Sit properly." Jun Mochan indicated with one hand on the steering wheel and used the other to pull Ye Ranran back into her seat.
"We have been honest with each other every night, do you not feel it’s enough, my lady?" Jun Mochan asked meaningfully.
This man, always thinking of indecent things.
Ye Ranran silently closed her mouth.
"Some things, when the time is not right, you will naturally understand later," Jun Mochan said with a glance at her.
"I just feel that you’re too inscrutable. Everything seems to be under your control, I can’t figure you out."
People naturally have a tendency to be cautious about things or people they cannot understand.
"Oh, when we get home tonight, I’ll let you see through me," Jun Mochan said, gazing deeply into her eyes.
Ye Ranran: "..." Is there anything else in this man’s mind besides that?
"By the way, the manager sought me out today. S.Z is planning to release another magazine issue, asked me to speed up my designs," Ye Ranran remembered something important.
Jun Mochan’s face fell immediately: "I didn’t ask you to do that."
Between the lines, she could tell that he meant she shouldn’t be bothered by them.
"This issue of the magazine sold quite well, everyone really likes my work. Why don’t you seem happy about it?" Ye Ranran looked at him curiously.
As her husband, shouldn’t he be happy with her on this matter?
"Of course, I’m happy. But I don’t want you to be overworked, I’m not dependent on the magazine’s earnings." Purchasing that was mainly for her sake.
"But I’m a designer, I rely on it for a living. Everyone liking it can’t be a bad thing for me," Ye Ranran said quite seriously.
"But it’s too exhausting for you, and the first batch of clothes haven’t even come out yet, there’s no need for an additional issue," Jun Mochan said, looking rather upset.
S.Z’s proposal was rejected by him once, he didn’t expect them to go behind his back to find Ye Ranran, how lovely.
"That’s why I wanted to discuss with you, can you speed up the production? At least by the time the additional issue comes out, the first batch of clothes should be ready. Of course, it would be best if both issues could be released together." Ye Ranran blinked, looking at him expectantly.
"I was planning to host a personal design show for you, released alongside the second issue. If there’s another issue beyond that, I’m afraid you won’t be able to handle it," Jun Mochan said with a sigh.
A personal design show? For her? Ye Ranran looked at Jun Mochan incredulously.
"But isn’t that for famous designers...."
"Who said that? Famous designers often host personal shows. They simply have connections, money, and godfathers. You are my wife, Ye Ranran, you have all the former. Plus, you have what they don’t."
They have what she already has, not to mention what they don’t have, she has too.
Why not?
