Chapter 201: Chapter 201: I want to see her_1

Bored to death, Ye Ranran instinctively looked for Jun Mochan, but found that the place was deserted.

"Designer Ye." Just as Ye Ranran was debating whether or not to ask someone where everyone had gone, Ah Chuan’s voice sounded from behind her.

Ye Ranran jumped like a mouse that had its tail stepped on, "Ah... Assistant Wen, what’s up?"

"This has been specially arranged for you by the president." Ah Chuan pointed to the bodyguards behind her.

"This is Missus, from today onwards, you are in charge of her protection." Ah Chuan repeated Jun Mochan’s exact words to the two men.

In fact, before meeting Ye Ranran, Jun Mochan had already briefed them, but to make Ye Ranran realize her importance to Jun Mochan, Ah Chuan felt it was necessary to say it again in front of her.

"Yes." The two men nodded.

Gazing at the three with a melancholic expression, Ye Ranran could only nod helplessly, "I understand, tell your president that I’ve received his message."

"I will relay your message to him." Ah Chuan assured her.

After Ah Chuan left, Luo Qi stood up, eyeing the two bodyguards, "Did you switch people?"

"He thought the ones from last time were not good, so he found two new ones." Ye Ranran complained, "But don’t you think he’s overdoing it?"

"Just enjoy the attention." Luo Qi reached out to poke one of them in the chest, "So many muscles...so sturdy...do you want to touch them?"

"No, thanks." Ye Ranran’s mouth twitched. She could not agree with Luo Qi’s actions.

Luo Qi teased her, "I’m sure Mr. Jun’s muscles are better, I know."

Facing the unrestrained Luo Qi, Ye Ranran was both irritated and embarrassed, "Luo Qi!"

"Okay, I won’t tease you anymore." Luo Qi sat back down, "Can’t I just focus on my design work?"

After sitting for a while, Ye Ranran was feeling a bit bored. As someone who can’t sit still, she was about to find something to do when her phone rang.

Upon seeing the caller ID, Ye Ranran didn’t pick up immediately.

"What’s wrong? Is it him?" Luo Qi looked up and immediately voiced her concern upon seeing Ye Ranran’s hesitant expression.

"No, it’s my dad." Ye Ranran stood up.

She didn’t want others to know too much about her personal matters and hence had not told Luo Qi about them. Naturally, she also didn’t want to answer her father’s call in front of her.

"What’s the matter?" After answering, Ye Ranran asked directly, even skipping the customary greetings.

There was a pause on the other end, "I want to see you," he said after what seemed like two seconds.

"Sure, as long as I choose the location." Ye Ranran responded briskly.

Judging by her answer, her father roared, "So you’re not even willing to come home now?"

"That’s your home, not mine. I have no intention of going back. If you insist on me returning, then there’s no need for us to meet." Ye Ranran refused to compromise.

Having no other option, her father agreed.

Ye Ranran named a coffee shop that was neither near nor far, set a time, and hung up.

She had a couple of hours to kill before the meeting, so she figured she could write a column introduction in that time.

Since she didn’t have an assistant, she was a little busy.

However, the writing turned out to be more challenging than she had anticipated. It was just a few lines, but no matter how she looked at it, something seemed off.

While she was making adjustments, the scheduled meeting time arrived, and she stood up.
