Jun Mochan glanced at him but didn’t say anything, instead, he turned his attention to the two men behind him.

"Young Master Jun." Seeing Jun Mochan looking over, the two men hurriedly spoke up.

"Indeed, Young Master Jun," the two directors wiped the cold sweat off their foreheads.

Xie Pei had invited them, hoping for some backdoor deals and support from the financial and tax departments, they had been considering it too. But as soon as Jun Mochan dropped this comment, they immediately backed off.

"Chen Group has been doing quite well recently. A City is currently focusing on developing its unique attributes, isn’t it? Being a well-established local business, wouldn’t Chen Group have more authentic taste compared to Xie’s?" Jun Mochan said it casually, pretending not to care.

"Are you implying that our Xie’s can’t compare with Chen’s?" Xie Pei wasn’t pleased.

"Indeed, when it comes to creating dishes with uniqueness, definitely so. At least, if I want to have authentic A City cuisine, I would choose Chen’s over Xie’s," Jun Mochan admitted candidly.

"Hungry? Eat a little more." He scooped up another portion for her.

Ye Ranran displayed mild annoyance: "Jun Mochan!"

Jun Mochan squinted his eyes: "What did you call me?"

"Husband." In face of the formidable Jun Mochan, Ye Ranran did not dare to be disrespectful.

"You called it wrong once," Jun Mochan declared.

Ye Ranran didn’t care much: "Alright, if you won’t say it, then so be it."

Seeing her clearly interested, yet feigning not wanting to know, Jun Mochan found it somewhat amusing: "If you want to know, then eat first. I’ll tell you when you’re done."

"Who wants to know? He’s not related to me whatsoever," Ye Ranran muttered, her hands moving swiftly to pick up the food.

As a young lady from a rich family, Ye Ranran exhibited all the poise one would expect.

She ate elegantly, not speaking while eating. The lunch soon finished.

"Can you tell me now?" Seeing Jun Mochan put down his chopsticks, Ye Ranran inquired.

Jun Mochan’s face softened with a warm smile: "Didn’t you say you’re not keen to know?"

Ye Ranran: "..." Was he intentionally messing with her?
