The Tycoon Has A Secret Crush On Me
Chapter 183: Send Her Roses_1

Chapter 183: Chapter 183: Send Her Roses_1

I don’t want to be special, though.

"No can do."

Alright, alright, I’ll have two bodyguards then, Ye Ranran agreed helplessly.

After browsing for a while, Jun Mochan and Ye Ranran left and drove to the bridal shop.

The dresses were prepared in advance by the staff. When Jun Mochan’s car pulled up, they promptly delivered the gowns to the car.

With the gowns in hand, Jun Mochan took Ye Ranran back to Riverside Villa.

"Aren’t we eating out?" Ye Ranran asked.

It was Valentine’s Day, and Jun Mochan had cleared his evening to take her out. Why the sudden change?

"I think you must be tired today, so I brought you back early. We’ll eat and get some rest." Jun Mochan said, lightly pinching her cheek.

Why does he always pinch her face? Ye Ranran brushed his hand away.

She wasn’t particularly interested in shopping, but had asked out of politeness, so she wasn’t really upset.

In the villa, the lights were as bright as usual. Usually, there were servants around and the doors were always open, but why were they closed today?

Ye Ranran, puzzled, pushed open the door.

Petals rained down from above, the hall was covered in red roses, the intertwined petals on the staircase formed her name, and myriads of stars on the ground formed a heart shape.

Ye Ranran didn’t expect Jun Mochan to do all this. She was stunned as she took in the scene, then turned her gaze to him.

"Do you like it?" Jun Mochan’s hand was on her shoulder.

"I love it, but aren’t all these roses a waste of money?" Ye Ranran’s comments were a bit of a downer.

Jun Mochan was both annoyed and amused: "Madam Jun, does Mr. Jun lack money? Do you need to be frugal?"

It seemed not. If there was one thing Jun Mochan had plenty of, it was money.

"These roses are beautiful." Ye Ranran suddenly commented.

Each one was blooming just right, adorned with dew drops, none of them wilted.

"I picked them myself, how could they not be perfect?" Jun Mochan’s hand slid to her waist, pulling her closer.

Ye Ranran’s eyes widened, incredulously staring at him. She knew how busy Jun Mochan was; he usually came home from work, dined with her, and immediately retreated to his study.

She was touched by this gesture because no matter how busy he was, he always found time to accompany her. But she never expected him to do all this.

Where did he find the time for all this?

"Alright, let’s have dinner first, and then you can admire the roses." Jun Mochan took Ye Ranran’s hand and led her inside.

"Madam, Sir." The maid stood by the dining table, greeting Ye Ranran and Jun Mochan.

The meal was already prepared. When Maid Wu saw Ye Ranran and Jun Mochan returned, she immediately served the dishes.

In the fragrance of the roses, Ye Ranran happily finished her meal.

While bathing, Ye Ranran noticed the lingering bruises under her collarbone from where Gao Han had pinched her. She rubbed the area, wishing to erase the marks.

Attempted as she might, it was of no use. If anything, the surrounding area just became redder.

Ye Ranran gave up.

When she came out, Jun Mochan was not in the room. Ye Ranran knew he must have gone back to work.

Not feeling sleepy, she took out her sketchbook. After some thought, she started to draw.

She was about a third of the way through when the bedroom door opened. Without looking up, she knew there could only be one person - Jun Mochan.

As expected, the sound of showering soon filled the bathroom.

When Jun Mochan emerged, Ye Ranran was kneeling on the bed sketching. Her loose nightgown revealed a generous amount of cleavage.

And revealed the previously hidden bruises.
