Chapter 1323: Chapter 1246: Speaking Nonsense with Utter Seriousness
"Shut up, Fan Rou, who are you, a bastard child, to talk about me? You and your mother, you’re both shameless bitches just the same." Xia Shi cursed vehemently.
"You’re so noble, born of the legitimate wife, yet what’s the difference between you and a mistress in what you do?" Ye Ranran retorted.
She grabbed Fan Rou’s hand and fiercely slapped Xia Shi twice: "Does that feel good? If it’s not satisfying, slap her a few more times."
Fan Rou went back and forth, hitting her twice more.
After the slapping was done, she said to Ye Ranran, "That felt great."
"You... I will not let you two get away with this." Xia Shi, with a face red as a beet, glared with fury.
"That’s funny coming from you, did you ever think of letting me go? Can you tell me when exactly?" Ye Ranran cocked her head slightly, her large eyes swirling with curiosity, she asked very earnestly.
Xia Shi: "..."
"Can’t answer, can you? Look, you’re amusing me again, and I just hate being teased by others." Ye Ranran stroked her face: "Oh my, such a pitiable little face getting beaten like this, it truly breaks one’s heart."
Xia Shi’s heart trembled fiercely, and suddenly she remembered Song Yue’s face that was destroyed, that bright red cross, like a mark and like a ferocious hand, squeezing their throats, suffocating them, and occasionally letting them breathe, but never enough to let them die.
And that originally country-overturning face, because of that mark, became unbearably ugly, like a heart torn from its casing, shamelessly exposed for all to see.
"I apologize to you, now let me go." Xia Shi said hoarsely.
"You’re smarter than Song Yue, pity, you don’t hide your gaze well." If she could conceal the hatred in her eyes, make them appear more sincere, perhaps she really would have been overcome with compassion.
Who made her such a kind person?
"Ye Ranran, you..." Xia Shi suddenly found herself at a loss for words.
She had said every conceivable insult, things unbearable to the ear, things worth cursing, and things not worth cursing, but Ye Ranran was impervious to them all, and even managed to refute each one, truly vexing.
"What? Still want to curse me? Go ahead, wait until you’re done before I deal with you." Ye Ranran brought a chair, sat in front of Xia Shi, and assumed a posture of attentive listening.
"Ye Ranran, go to hell." Xia Shi exploded with vulgarity.
People like them rarely speak such crude words, more precisely, Xia Shi had never spoken such words in her life.
Such words are just too crude, too indecent, once uttered, they are completely out of place in their society.
But Xia Shi couldn’t care less at this point; not cursing Ye Ranran out would leave her feeling incredibly unsatisfied.
She was not going to let her off today anyway, might as well satisfy her desire to curse.
"I don’t know if I have one, I’ll check when I get home, but if there is, it’s probably six feet under by now. If you insist on paying respects, I can arrange a posthumous marriage for you, allowing you to be buried together." Ye Ranran frowned in thought: "But my grandfather’s house is in the countryside, they used to have burials, not sure if it’s still findable."
Xia Shi almost fainted again at that utterly serious nonsense.
Fan Rou’s shoulders were shaking with uncontrollable laughter.
Ye Ranran was really too adorable, no wonder Xia Shi was being driven to her wit’s end by her.
"Do you have any other curses? Or perhaps someone else you’d like to extend your regards to? My dad and I aren’t close, your remarks won’t affect him, and my mom has passed away, so perhaps you could personally go to her, extend your regards to her directly, keep her company, how about that?" Ye Ranran generously offered.
