Chapter 1288: Chapter 1210: The Role of the Vicious Dog
Injuries and fatalities due to the chaos are quite normal.
"Didn’t expect to see a pretty boy here." Someone approached Zhou Xian with a playful laugh.
He reached out, intending to lift his chin.
"What are you doing? Looking for death?" Another person stood in front of Zhou Xian.
When Ye Ranran arrived, a melee was underway inside, and the detention center’s warden immediately had people separate them.
"Separate them and lock them up." Ye Ranran’s tone was firm and allowed no doubt.
"Yes." The warden didn’t dare to have any objections.
Anyway, there wasn’t just one room here, and Ye Ranran didn’t make any other requests. Besides, with the current situation, separation seemed better.
However, whether it was intentional or not, the warden called out several names, all of whom were people from Song Jade’s side.
Ye Ranran was naturally unaware, but she had just seen those people most fiercely attempting to pounce on Zhou Xian.
So she simply divided the two groups from the middle: "Separate from the middle, take everyone on the right to another room."
"Who do you think you are, the warden? What are you ordering around here for?" An annoying voice came from behind.
Ye Ranran turned around, her face breaking into a signature smile: "Miss Song, what a coincidence, you’re not a clingy bug, so why do you always appear behind me?"
Song Yue was taken aback for a moment, but she quickly found a retort: "How funny of you to say that, as if I’m stalking you?"
"Miss Song’s shadow seems to be present wherever I go. Maybe I’m just flattering myself, but is your health okay? Having just aborted, not resting properly could lead to miscarriages in the future, and it might not be so easy to get pregnant again."
Having such things brought up in front of everyone, Song Yue felt extremely embarrassed, her eyes cold as chilled blades: "Thank you for your misplaced concern."
"Oh, I didn’t want to bother." Ye Ranran made a slight waving gesture, suggesting she should back off if there’s nothing else: "I’ve got things to do, no time to idle chat with Miss Song."
"Then go ahead, I’ve also got some things to handle here," Song Yue looked at her smugly.
She was still too green to compete with her on this front.
"Yeah, you take your time." Ye Ranran turned and left.
"Do you have a way to get me a vicious dog within ten minutes?" Ye Ranran whispered to One.
One didn’t speak, and when he didn’t, it meant he was thinking; Ye Ranran didn’t rush him and waited patiently for an answer.
Soon, One nodded.
Because from the corner of his eye, he saw a dog.
Looking at that colorless, skinny stray, Ye Ranran’s mouth twitched: "I asked for a vicious dog, do you call this a vicious dog?"
Did he even know what a vicious dog was? Did he understand dogs like German Shepherds, Tibetan Mastiffs?
"Your target would be too conspicuous, easily drawing attention. This one won’t catch people’s eyes as much." One put his finger under the dog’s nose for it to smell.
Then he let it loose and the dog, as if mad, charged towards Song Yue.
One quickly pulled Ye Ranran into the car, and drove to a hidden spot where they could see before the dog bit Song Yue.
"You’ve done this often, haven’t you?" Judging by how skilled he was, who would believe it was his first time?
One nodded very honestly: "But I haven’t done it many times."
Ye Ranran didn’t respond to him, instead watching the rabid dog bite Song Yue’s leg.
