Chapter 1247: Chapter 1170: Trust Him
Song Yue didn’t expect him to still be there, she couldn’t help but feel surprised.
His pajamas hung loosely on his body, revealing a well-defined chest.
Before Song Yue had seen enough, Jun Mochan set aside his computer, and as he moved, his pajamas slipped down, revealing marks on his back.
Laughter immediately appeared in Song Yue’s eyes, and she was about to wrap her arms around him.
"I have to go," Jun Mochan pushed her away, "the things I need."
"You haven’t even gotten out of bed yet, and you’re already disowning people? You were very passionate just now," Song Yue cooed teasingly.
Jun Mochan squinted, a cold light flashing in his eyes, "I’ve said, do not test my limits."
"Alright then," Song Yue got up, picked up the pajamas from the floor, then grabbed her purse and took out two pills, "Two pills, one in the morning and one in the evening."
"How long will they last?" Jun Mochan pinched the pills.
"One week, but don’t take them with the detoxification drugs, or it will backfire," Song Yue gently reminded.
"Why didn’t you say that before?" Jun Mochan grabbed her neck and lifted her up, his sinister gaze entwining around Song Yue like a venomous snake’s tongue.
The man who had just been gracious and elegant had now transformed into the most ferocious beast, seemingly ready to pounce and tear her apart the next moment.
"Didn’t I say? Sorry, I thought I had," Song Yue made the least sincere apology.
Jun Mochan’s grip tightened even more.
Song Yue looked straight at him, capturing even his minutest expression in her eyes. She thought he might show some reluctance, but she was wrong; he showed none.
He really didn’t have her in his heart.
Song Yue felt somewhat defeated.
More than that, she was determined not to give up; she had come this far, there was no turning back, only moving forward.
If Ye Ranran could do it, she naturally could too.
"The next dose of medicine is a week later. If you hurt me, I won’t be able to see anyone for a week."
With those words, all strength drained from Jun Mochan. He dangled his arms helplessly, like a puppet with its strings cut.
Song Yue fell to the ground, coughing violently.
Her neck bore a red mark, showing that Jun Mochan had indeed intended to strangle her.
She didn’t know what he was thinking, but when they were *** just before, she felt she truly possessed him.
Yet now she felt as if she had just had a very realistic dream.
Jun Mochan no longer looked at her, picked up his clothes nearby, and walked out.
Ye Ranran stood by the window, gazing at the night sky. The city’s sky showed no stars, but lately, she had grown fond of the twinkling neon lights.
When Jun Mochan arrived, he saw her standing motionless by the window, wearing a white nightgown with the light casting a hazy veil over her.
Jun Mochan walked over and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
The sudden embrace startled Ye Ranran.
"Don’t be afraid, it’s me," Jun Mochan rested his chin on her shoulder.
Ye Ranran turned around, sniffed the scent on him, and frowned, "There’s a smell of perfume."
"I went to a social event today, it got on me by accident," Jun Mochan’s voice unavoidably carried a hint of nervousness.
He should have gone home to change clothes before coming, but he was so eager to see her. He hadn’t seen her for two days and wondered how she was doing.
Although he knew someone was taking care of her, he couldn’t help but worry when she wasn’t by his side.
"Why are you nervous? I didn’t suspect you," Ye Ranran nestled into his embrace.
Feeling her coldness, Jun Mochan couldn’t help but hold her tighter, "Why didn’t you wear more if you’re so cold?"
