Chapter 1240: Chapter 1163: Won’t Touch Her
Jun Mochan released her, his hand cupping her face, his lips just five centimeters away, nearly touching hers, "If you won’t talk, I won’t force you."
His eyes, black as ink, rippled like a lake, the petite Song Yue nearly drowning in them.
Song Yue pressed her lips to his, on the verge of a kiss, when Jun Mochan let her go, "I’ll take you back home. You don’t need me to teach you how to explain to your family, do you?"
"You saved me, what else is there to explain?" Song Yue raised an eyebrow.
"Let’s go." Jun Mochan moved forward first.
Song Yue boldly grasped his hand.
Jun Mochan instinctively shook her off.
"Don’t forget to treat me well," Song Yue said, a look of grievance in her eyes.
Jun Mochan extended his arm to her, and Song Yue immediately latched on, beaming.
Number Three watched from the side, his brow twitching.
The next day, Elder Jun received the news; he tossed the photos in front of Jun Mochan, "Give me an explanation."
"There’s nothing to explain," Jun Mochan said, picking up the breakfast from the table and walking away.
"You stop right there." Elder Jun threw his cane, hitting the breakfast tray squarely.
Soy milk splattered, staining Jun Mochan’s trousers.
"Grandfather, I still need to bring breakfast to Ranran," Jun Mochan frowned.
"Ranran? You still remember her? If she was truly in your heart, you wouldn’t be messing around outside," Elder Jun slammed his hand on the pile of photographs.
"Grandfather, I have my reasons for this, please don’t ask," Jun Mochan did not wish to explain.
"You must give me an explanation today," Elder Jun overturned the table, "otherwise, you’re not leaving this door."
Jun Mochan had no choice but to skim through the matter, Elder Jun’s frown deepening with every word, "How do you plan to explain this to Ranran?"
He did not believe she would accept his reasoning.
"I don’t plan to tell her. Once her illness is cured, I’ll deal with Song Yue. Please trust me, Grandfather."
Elder Jun wanted to know only because he feared Jun Mochan was bewitched by Song Yue, pondering marriage—now that he knew the truth, he was slightly relieved but still not entirely at ease.
"Be careful not to get her pregnant, that would make things irreparable," Elder Jun sighed.
"Don’t worry, I won’t touch her," Jun Mochan asserted. Aside from Ye Ranran, he wanted no other woman.
"As long as you know your limits," Elder Jun waved off.
The Song Family was in an uproar over the matter.
"Yue’er, do you really want to be with Jun Mochan?" Mother Song asked.
"Mom, you’ve asked that question eight hundred times already. No matter how many times you ask, my answer will be the same. I want to be with him," Song Yue applied a face mask.
"With so many good men in the world, why him?" Father Song was frustrated.
"Why can’t I choose him?" Song Yue retorted, "What’s wrong with him? Once I conquer him, won’t the world become the Song Family’s?"
"Little sister, that man is beyond your control. You should consider asking for something else," she thought, heading for disaster.
"What else do I lack?" As a princess, she lacked for nothing but a man worthy of her.
Song Yue was speechless.
The others didn’t know how to persuade her either, but harbored a glimmer of hope in their hearts—if Song Yue could truly succeed, if she could keep Jun Mochan in her grasp.
Then, indeed, the world would belong to the Song family.
Even if they couldn’t, being by his side, they could still learn some things. Then all they needed was to plan carefully.
