The Tycoon Has A Secret Crush On Me
Chapter 1150 - 1173: Bless Him

Chapter 1150: Chapter 1173: Bless Him

As she reached for the doorknob, she turned her head and said, word by word, "Song Ze, I pray that the person you love always has someone who loves them back."

He was destined to be alone forever.

Song Ze sneered coldly, "Thanks."

Song Ze naturally didn’t believe in such things; if mere curses or hopeful wishes could achieve anything, then the word ’dream’ wouldn’t exist in the world.

Listening to his flat tone, Gu Yan stormed out the door.

Upon reaching downstairs, she could no longer hold herself up and fell to the ground.

The tears that had gathered in her eyes finally disobeyed and began to flow.

They flowed more and more until she couldn’t stop them.

After crying her heart out, Gu Yan finally wiped away her tears, took out her phone from her bag, and called Gu Heng.

Gu Heng rushed over in a hurry, not saying a word, and immediately dragged Gu Yan into the car.

It wasn’t until the car stopped and the engine turned off that he looked at Gu Yan, "Tell me, what happened."

"Can you not ask, please?" Gu Yan turned her head away.

"No, I can’t just not ask when you’ve let yourself become like this," Gu Heng said as he lit a cigarette.

"Stop smoking," Gu Yan waved her hand to disperse the quickly spreading smoke.

Seeing her discomfort, Gu Heng put out the cigarette, "Did you go see Song Ze?"

Gu Yan didn’t answer, her silence took as an affirmation by Gu Heng.

"Find someone else, he’s not right for you," Gu Heng advised her.

With someone like Song Ze, if his heart had been with her, it might have been okay, but the truth showed his heart was never with her.

She was just wasting her time.

He wouldn’t care about her.

"Why don’t you tell yourself to give up on Song Yue?" Gu Yan countered.

Gu Heng seemed shocked by her words, staring at her for a few seconds, "If I could give up on her, would you give up on Song Ze?"

"With the Song family planning to marry Song Yue off to you, how could you possibly give her up?" Gu Yan scoffed.

She didn’t believe he could give up happiness within his easy reach.

"I’m asking you, if I can give up on Song Yue, would you give up on Song Ze?" Gu Heng persisted, ignoring Gu Yan’s cynicism and wanting a definite answer.

Gu Yan nodded, "Yes, if you can give up on Song Yue, I’ll give up on Song Ze."

"Fine, I’ll leave for Frontier City tomorrow and never contact Song Yue again."

After all, the marriage was only an intention between him and the Song family, and since the news hadn’t spread far, backing out wouldn’t be a big deal.

Gu Yan looked at him in astonishment, unable to say anything before Gu Heng opened the car door, "Alright, get out."

He stepped out and closed the car door forcefully.

Gu Yan felt uneasy inside; she knew Gu Heng must be feeling even worse.

Her brother had always loved her dearly; everything he had that she wanted, he would give her.

Even something as significant as marriage he was willing to forsake for her.

Suddenly, Gu Yan felt incredibly selfish; it was her grievances from Song Ze, how could she lash out at Gu Heng?

This matter had nothing to do with him.

Gu Heng took a few steps before realizing Gu Yan wasn’t following. He could only turn back and find her.

"Why are you still sitting in the car?" He approached and opened the door, looking at her.

"Brother, if there’s a chance, you should still marry Song Yue. I’m sorry for what I said earlier," Gu Yan lowered her head in apology.

She truly was too selfish; he had been kind to her all her life, how could she say such things?

"I promised to do what you asked, besides, marrying her doesn’t guarantee happiness, so whether I marry her or not doesn’t really matter." He liked her, but it had nothing to do with her.
